For a long time, my wife and I have visited 7venth Sun on our numerous trips to the Tampa Bay area... and while we have always stayed in the St. Pete or Tampa downtown areas, we have always felt the drive up to Dunedin was well worth the drive (even if it was about about 45 minutes out of the way). And we loved the beer.... there was something special that other breweries just didn't have. Maybe it was the atmosphere... maybe the always welcoming staff... maybe the small but intimate venue... or perhaps the patrons (always friendly). And then something changed... they opened their Seminole Heights location. For a window of time, it was closer and easier to visit the newer location. I liked this location but it wasn't the same as the Dunedin location. Less social since it was so spread out; I missed being at tables that we shared and bumping shoulders to the point that we sparked conversations with strangers (part of the beer experience; like a first date on every visit). Now that Seminole Heights in closed (which I am sorry to hear), I am excited that we finally we forced to drive back to this original location... didn't mind the drive and absolutely loved the beer, the vibe, the people; all of it.

As for the food, a few notes: The charcuterie was rather disappointing. For $10, we got a very small plate with 1 meat rose, 4 slices of 1 cheese, some candied nuts, pickles, pickled onion, a couple strawberries and 2 slices of bread with mustard. It just was underwhelming for the price. The loaded tots were decent. And the flatbread was pretty delicious. It tasted like an upgraded Tostinos. A little nostalgic flavor but was delicious. The bread pudding was so so. Not thee greatest, but we did get it for take out, so that could have contributed to the satisfaction factor. Overall, decent experience. Would likely come back if other places weren't busy, or I was crazy some pizza.

The one thing I was a little shocked by was the cost of Alcohol because I think we got a total of six drinks and it was well over $50 but again I didn't really care because the bartender was so nice and you could tell her just had that at home dive bar local feel to it.
