I have never been treated so rudely and sloughed off in this way. I inquired about enrollment and was given the run around. Many unreturned phone calls, emails and undelivered promises for answers. If it's this difficult to get a straight answer about enrollment, I can't imagine how disorganized the school is. Every time I spoke to the woman in charge of enrollment she acted as if we had never spoken and I had to explain my situation from the beginning. Do not recommend! read more

We love it here! My son is in Kindergarten and started here last year for TK. I knew I wanted a private school for my son after hearing some horrible stories about public school from clients (I have a Lice Removal salon and we deal with moms every day). From the very first call placed to the school to inquire about attendance to now, where i know this school and all the amazing teachers and staff, will be a wonderful second home to my son until he is ready for high school! The events at our school are second to none! Fiesta is will blow you away! Dances, paint parties, Bingo, Bowling nights, movie nights, trunk or treat... you can see why this school is a family! Academics are top notch!!!! The attention and love the entire staff shows our children is so precious. Knowing my son is being treated with such respect and compassion means the world to me. The aftercare program (as well as summer program) is incredible. My son loves it! We are happy and blessed to call St. Cornelius home! HIGHLY RECOMMEND 10/10!!!!!! read more

Highly Recommend St. Cornelius! Several years ago when my first child was 4 and eligible to start TK, I was told to take a tour at this school. Everything seemed as it should, passionate teachers, great facility, tentative staff etc. I asked the principal what set the school apart from other school choices, the answer was, Community. We decided to enroll our child and go forward with the upcoming year. I didn't understand the meaning of community until we joined St Cornelius. I currently have 2, soon to be three kids at St Cornelius where we feel like family. Each classmates family at the school is integrated into the success of the children in and out of the academic setting. The school teaches the whole person. Not only will you exceed the necessary academic milestones, but you will strengthen your relationship with God, learn to respect, have integrity, and life skills needed to be a successful member of society. There are also many events throughout the year to enjoy, such as, Fiesta (the school carnival), trunk or treat, Christmas concert, fun dress days, jog a thon, grandparents day, etc. If you are looking for a school that you can be proud of and one that will care about more than a score on a piece of paper, look no further. THIS SCHOOL IS AWESOME!!!!! I've had my oldest son at this school since he was in kindergarten, he is currently in the 7th grade and will be graduating from St. Cornelius next year. My youngest son who is turning 4 years old in June will be starting St. Cornelius' TK program this coming August. My experience with St. Cornelius School for the past 8 years has been wonderful. The teachers, principal, vice principal, extended care staff and the school office staff are wonderful and really show that they care about the well-being of your child and his/her safety while attending the school as well as participating in the after school athletic programs; like my oldest son has been doing for the past few years. This school not only creates a great academic environment for my son, but also brings the parents and school administration together as a community, so much that there are generations upon generations of families that continue the tradition within their family of attending St. Cornelius School; even some of the teachers that currently teach are alumni of the school. As a mother of two beautiful boys and a law enforcement officer I can't say enough about this school. I highly recommend this school. read more

My twins started here in kindergarten, they are now preparing to graduate 8th grade!!! My youngest is in 5th grade, and has been here since kinder. Our experiennce here has been nothing but the best!!! Before the girls started i was all for public school, my husband was for Private catholic school. He attended the open house, and immediately fell in love. He told me once i came to visit the school i would love it too, and i do. They focus teaching manners, behavior, and respect. Safety is of the highest priority here! Education is on point! My twins have been accepted into honors programs for High school, and one recieved a scholarship based on her high school placement test score. My daughter has been at this school since Kinder ( she is now in 3rd grade). The school,staff, and principal offer a family type environment. The staff all are very involved in all aspects of your child's academic accomplishments in a very encouraging, supportive way, and also determine and what's best for individual care. That fact that the principal knows practically every students name speaks volumes. We are beyond pleased with this school, church and staff and highly recommend it to other families. read more

This school is amazing! I actually graduated from St. Cornelius many moons ago. I feel blessed that when I toured a number of Catholic and public schools in our area, I still found it to be the best choice. I teach at an elementary school and have worked at quite a few schools. The close knit community of St. Cornelius is hard to match. Older kids take care of younger kids without being asked. The relationships are built into the expectation of each student. The fact that the principal often shares something she observed my child doing that she thought I would enjoy means a lot. There is no way our administrator knows the name of every child at our school and sadly misses out on small opportunities like this. I feel lucky to have my children have the same wonderful experience I had at St. Cornelius. read more

WE LOVE ST CORNELIUS CATHOLIC SCHOOL! Students learn to experience God's grace & presence in their lives through their relationships with family,friends & teachers. The loving & supportive relationships they experience are reflections of the love & life giving dynamics of the trinity. They develop a sense of "sacramental awareness" they see the signs of God's love around them. The teachers are great! The principal Mrs. Hayes is a wonderful part of this school. She knows EVERY single student and their families. It is like a BIG happy family. I want to start by saying that my family and I love St. Cornelius church. This is a wonderful parish filled with lovely and generous priests, deacons, and lay people. I was confirmed at this church, my husband and I were married at this church and our children were baptized by the wonderful pastor. I really cant say enough about how wonderful and loving this parish has been over the past 6 years that I've been a member...but...Unfortunately, my experience with St Cornelius School has been AWFUL!! We enrolled our 4-year old child in the TK program so that she would gain experience in a classroom setting and become prepared for kindergarten. On day 2, the extended care teacher approached me to complain that my child caused a "security emergency" because she walked half way down the hallway to find a bathroom. On week 3, I received a concerned email from my child's teacher listing behaviors that suggested my child was having trouble adjusting to school (again, a 4-year old first time in a school setting). The final straw for me was when the principle had a psychiatrist come in and interview my child without my knowledge. The psychiatrists findings apparently were that my daughter has a learning disability..which felt more like a case being built to push my daughter out of the school because she was not good enough. SHE IS 4 YEARS OLD!! When I asked the principle why I was not notified of anyone interviewing my daughter for learning problems,I got a phony smile and a half answer. I feel this school lacks diversity and understanding of children different development states and learning styles and I the administration is quite rude. I've absolutely had it with this school and I'm so glad the school year is over. My daughter will not be attending this school in the future and I do not recommend this school. read more
