We tried the Fajita and Margarita cruise and liked it for the most part. The downside was, we did it on a cold, rainy night in October so there wasn't much of a view and it got dark halfway through the cruise -so then there was no view! Of course, this was not the fault of the business. Just something to keep in mind when you book. There is no dedicated parking for this business, so you just fine what you can nearby. You might end up quite a ways away, so be prepared to walk. Check in was quick and simple. Unlike other similar cruises I've been on, they assign you to a table. Tables seat 6-8 so if you are a couple, you will likely be sharing a table with others. The interior of the boat is very pretty. Lots of big windows and mirrors surfaces, so wherever you are seated, you're aware of the outdoor views. There are 2 enclosed levels and the 3rd level is open. The bar is in the 2nd level and the food buffet is on the first level. Part of the deal for this cruise was 2-for-1 margaritas. We gave that a shot but weren't too impressed so switched to beer and wine. There is a limited selection of both. I'm not sure if there were other drink options. It's a small bar. They do have table service for drinks and those people really move! You want have to wait long for a drink. They're very friendly and attentive. Note: The bar does not take credit cards. Bring cash with you. The fajita buffet was good but nothing special. Chicken, carnitas, beans, rice. Some chips and salsa also, but the chips were stale. Overall, it was good and we would probably do it again in nice weather since the views on the St. Croix are really what you're there for.

The view was absolutely beautiful! The food was great! I booked for my fiancé's birthday it was a wonderful time! I'll be back

The cruise down the St. Croix River was great except where I wanted to be was the FREAKIN SMOKING SECTION! WTF? I loved being outdoors on the deck but have to stay out of the sun (I sunburn easy). So the back of the second deck had a lovely awning over it-which is where I would have stayed the entire time but smokers were lighting up even before we cast off. How annoying. Yuck! We did try the fajitas, which I probably would have liked any other day, but it smelled/tasted like cigarette ash. I wonder if they have a non-smoking cruise

We took the whole family and some friends out on the river for my mother's 60th bday. The cruise went very well. We love the St. Criox so it was a no brainer! The food was pretty standard fair. chicken, potatoes. I have to say the little apple pancake things were hideous and i cringe thinking about it. But all in all a great trip.

My mother in law was the main contact point for setting everything up with Renee. She is much more flower savvy than either of us. She arranged to have boutonnieres made for the guys (special ones for us), corsages for the moms, and flower buckets for the ladies to make their own bouquets with. We gave Renee our basic color scheme and that was about it. When we showed up at the barn for our wedding the flowers were all set out. They were perfect! The colors were just right, there was a good variety, and the centerpieces weren't too intrusive. Renee also took care of the setting up and arranging of all the centerpieces. That was a huge help to us too. Not having to take care of the setup allowed us more time to relax and take photos. The ladies really liked their selection of flowers in their buckets too. They had fun matching their outfits and flowers. Renee's flowers were a wonderful addition to the wedding. I am so happy that my mother in law convinced us to go this route. Skip the expensive florist and check out Renee and her flower farm. 96/100

The first meeting went extremely well and I paid a deposit for the few buckets of flowers I was ordering up and was told that was the minimum order which was fine because it gave me a nice variety of various fillers and such that I needed to complete centerpieces and arbor. I assumed that I would get a generous amount of flowers as this is a one woman show with her own farm and it is nearing harvest season in mid-september so I figured she may be more generous. I arrived and it was a standard amount of flowers which by the way I did love all the selections. they were in fantastic shape and ready to roll. What left me feeling a little less than happy is my final bill was an additional 100.00. This was double what I though I would be paying and for the amount of flowers I got I just felt a little disappointed. I could have easily ran to trader joes or sam's club and gotten several big bunches of mixed bouquets and came out with more flowers and less expense and run around. I try to support local business as much as possible because it is good karma and Renee is a very nice lady but I would make a different decision if I had to do it over again.

The charter service operates from a little past flood season in the spring until early October. We chartered them for a groom's dinner. The boat is both elegant and comfortable. It is nicely appointed but they don't allow stiletto heels or black soled shoes (it wrecks the decks) so you have a good excuse to kick off your shoes and relax. The cruise was a great alternative to renting a hall or private room in a restaurant and the price is comparable. We had about 25 in our party. It POURED for most of our cruise, but the boat has a large indoor lounge area and there was enough seating for everyone. Besides the captain, we had two really friendly, competent servers who kept us all dry and made sure the bar and buffet stayed well stocked. Food is all buffet style, catered by the Lake Elmo Inn (yum!) and ranges from appetizer trays to full meals. Meals range from lunch buffet ($15/person) to Captain's Choice ($38/person) with a minimum of 20 people. Drinks extra; they have a compact but full bar. Summer on the St. Croix is fleeting and fabulous--take advantage of this while you can!
