We have been wanting to try Saint Francis Apizza for quite some time. We finally got that chance last night. It was amazing! The flavor of the pizza is so good. I don't really have words to describe it. They only have one size pizza and, at first, I thought it was huge. However, the flavor was so amazing I kept wanting more. Hubs and I did a half and half pizza. His half was the Alms Park and my half was bacon and pineapple. I probably could have eaten a whole pizza by myself. The blend of cheeses and their sauce - so stinking good. We also got a house salad to split. Being that this was to go - they gave us the main salad in one container with their house made croutons in a separate container and their house made vinaigrette in a separate container - it keeps everything fresh and crisp! The croutons were so delicious and fresh! On top of that, the vinaigrette was amazing. We both fell in love with it. We walked in and ordered instead of placing online or calling. The service was AMAZING! We decided to wait in our car and they walked it out to us! They were amazingly friendly and wonderful. Their pizza isn't the cheapest pizza around but it was worth the money we spent. This won't be an every week visit, but definitely a new favorite. While this location is carry-out only, it was very welcoming. They also sell bottles of wine and had signs talking about them. It was a very neat little local place. My fiancée and I dined in at the Oakley location and absolutely loved it and wanted more. We saw that this location did take out/online ordering. We called it in and it only took 30 minutes. Their pizza is New Haven-style. This location only does New York style pizza, not Chicago. It's limited. They only carry salads, beer and wine to go. Also they do not offer gluten free but vegetarian. The inside does not offer dine in and only pick up. We ordered build your own which is the 16 inch with mozzarella, red sauce, sausage and mushrooms. The pizza was amazing! I absolutely loved the flavor and crust. Delicious Pizza, perfectly cooked, slight char on the crust. Firm underneath with a little crisp. No flop at all, little to no grease, and just the right amount of sauce. I like that you can order early through the website and pickup right when they open. We'll have to try the other location that has dining in. read more

My fiancee and I had been to their location in Oakley and loved it so we decided to try this one too. The big difference is that this location is carryout only. I'll admit I was taken off guard when I was calling in out order and was told they have a different menu than the Oakley location and they don't do Chicago-style pizzas like Oakley does. Still, we're flexible, and we were wanting some good pizza. We opted for a NY style 16" with sausage and mushrooms. It was ready in about 20 minutes and was just being put on the front counter as soon as I arrived. Timing is everything. Aside from pizza, they also have salads, cookies, gelato, and bottles of wine and brews from Wandering Monsters to take home as well. Made my way in on a Monday for their take on Chicago Thin Tavern Pizza. Just one size, 14" and only on Mondays. Dough fermented for a week. This was my first time here, so I'm guessing regular style is New Haven. I enjoyed my pizza and they even pie cut it for me. Pepperoni with hot honey hit the spot. Could have used a couple more minutes in the oven. Just learned they just opened a dine in restaurant in Oakley, but closed Mon-Tue. They will have tavern style there the rest of the week. Wow! Really terrific crust where pizza starts. Crisp but airy without being burnt. Stands up to the NYC fold. Excellent tomato sauce without being overtly sweet. We got the margherita + burrata A+. The appetizer bowl was great with prosciutto, salami, cheese We were served by the manager who is a gem. St. Francis Apizza is one of my favorite spots in town. The crust is what makes this pizza. It is crispy and not too thick. One of my favorite things they do is Tavern Style Mondays. I'm from Chicago and its hard to find any square cut pizza here. They do it so well and thin, plus when you add the cup-and-char pepperoni it is spot on. The only thing I wish is they had was sit down so I could eat it right away! It is carry out only, so I have to wait till I get home to eat it!! read more

We're from Northwest Ohio and had St. Francis APizza on our "to try" list after seeing it featured on YouTube--so when we found ourselves in the Cincinnati area, we made sure to stop in. We're so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent. The guy working was super friendly and helpful. It was our first time there, and he patiently walked us through the menu, explained our options, and even let us know we could split the pizza half-and-half. It's takeout-only, but they do have a few small tables outside. When we mentioned we'd like to eat there, they immediately apologized for the tables not being wiped off and quickly cleaned them--even though they looked totally fine to us. We really appreciated the attention to detail and how welcoming they were. We went with half Margo-Rita and half pepperoni with hot honey--both were absolutely fantastic. The dough had incredible flavor with the perfect bake and a nicely crisped bottom. The sauce was bright and balanced, the cheese was top-notch, and the proportions of everything were spot-on. Every ingredient tasted super fresh, and it all came together beautifully. St. Francis APizza absolutely lived up to the hype. Ok so it all started when I read a review that said this was the best pizza in Cincinnati... We were in town for a graduation and so many restaurants were booked (also my fault I didn't start looking until 2 weeks out). We were looking for a takeout option to pair with our wine and eat with family in our Airbnb. St. Francis Apizza was perfect for this! The pizza was fresh with a thin but chewy and flavorful crust, great quality (& quantity of) ingredients, and a variety that is just enough outside the comfort zone to be drool worthy. We also got a few salads and a variety of dipping sauces, all which were seemingly made in house and super delicious! Even my 85 year old grandpa who is a bit of a skeptic and curmudgeon, said this pizza was "wonderful". We ordered a build your own pizza from St. Francis on Saturday night. It was a little pricy, but we had been wanting to give it a try. They do not have any dine-in options - this pizza is solely for pickup. I'm glad we ordered early around 5:30, because the pickup time is as 6:30. When we got there to pick up the pizza, we heard the guy behind the counter say they were booked up for the night and that if someone were or order now, they wouldn't be able to pick up until 9. A very popular place, so order early! Service was very nice and fast. The pizza itself was absolutely delicious and worth the price. Toppings were excellent - I love tiny pepperoni. The crust is very thin and wood-fired, which is my favorite. We split the pizza between the two of us, so I'd recommend ordering more if feeding 3. Check it out! read more

Incredible pizza and super nice people! We ordered around lunch time on a Friday for pickup at 6 pm, knowing it gets busy later in the day. The timing worked out perfectly and everything was ready to go when we showed up to pick it up. We ordered: - 1 Cincy Supreme, specifying olives on one half in the pickup notes, which they accommodated - 1/2 Ault Park Trestle + 1/2 Alms Park - 1 Caesar salad My personal favorite was the Cincy Supreme, while my husband liked the Ault Park Trestle best. He also raved about the Caesar salad, which had delightfully garlicky dressing and croutons that we're pretty sure were made from excess pizza dough. The dough itself is very airy, open and delightfully chewy. There was a bit more cornmeal on the bottom than I might have liked but everything else was so good I didn't really care. The pizzas are thin crust but BIG. We shared the pizza with a friend and each walked away with leftovers. Probably 6 meals total out of the order.
