The employees at the hostess stand were super friendly. We had a slight delay getting our table, and they even comped us a few appetizers, which was a nice surprise. We had a large party, and our waiter, Lil D, didn't miss a beat. He was super friendly, attentive, and always seemed to be right there whenever we needed something. The cars that move around on the ceiling are currently down while they're being repainted, but that's always one of our favorite features when we visit. Our food came out hot and delicious. The Jiffy Burger is one of my favorites! I always ask for the peanut butter on the side because they tend to be a little generous with it on the burger. They also sang for our birthday girl and brought her a complimentary bowl of ice cream, which was a fun touch. The only suggestion I'd make is to skip the extremely loud horn sound when someone at the bar leaves a tip or when the staff comes out to sing for birthdays. It's really loud and can be pretty distracting. We also love the fun car-themed sinks in the bathrooms and the automotive-themed napkin holders and food wraps. My friends and I came on a busy Saturday evening after shopping at the plaza. We put our name down for a 3 person table and even though they estimated 20-30 min, we got a text about 10 minutes later while we were in a nearby store. Our server was a new hire but friendly. Fords was hoppin today! My party of ten multiplied into18 somehow so we had to get split up otherwise the wait would have been 2 hrs! Go Fords! Lol We were happy to split up though.and got seated pretty fast. Our waitress was Delaney and she was excellent. Very prompt with drink orders and patient with us while some had to figure out their food choices. FYI: The atmosphere is loud, it doesn't bother me but we did have a couple people leave due to that. It took multiple requests to get sweetener and items were missing when the food was delivered, but she rallied and performed admirably during a busy MLK holiday lunch rush. I went with my family for a meal. It's location in a busy shopping area so parking is available but you have to look based on how busy the area is. You have to wait to all members of the party are there to be seated. The staff was friendly and helpful in that area as we went during a storm and people got stuck in traffic. Ford's Garage is one of the newer additions to Cincy's restaurant scene. It has a very unique and fun antique auto vibe, with a host of 20's and 30's decor - Fun for all ages. The food is fantastic, fresh and definitely not your average bar food. My sandwich was juicy and tasted amazing. I ordered take out July 24th for lunch for two and the order was wrong, when I called to talk about the mistakes I was given over to the manager who told me that I would receive a gift certificate by email the next day, I was okay with that because I have loved the restaurant and food. We were entertaining folks from out of town, so thought they would get a kick out of the car factory theme. They enjoyed the creative decor and reminisced about antiques and reproductions displayed. Tge restaurant was pretty loud, so table conversation was kind of tough, especially for the older folks. Service was fine, with the right amount of attention. The food was well prepared, but with burgers being the specialty, there were not many healthier options. Our party of 5 each ordered an entree. We did not order appetizers, add ons, or desserts. Been here a number of times and continue to love it! I would say they're burgers and sandwiches as well as their salads are definitely top notch. Other entrees that family have gotten like the salmon are a little bit mediocre. They really do burgers well here though! Usually it's always my go-to. Today I did have one of their honey chicken Chipotle bowls but it definitely was a good lunch and kept it under a thousand calories for a protein filled meal. This is my favorite location because of the car frames that go on the track above you unfortunately it's been broken for a while now but hopefully it will be fixed soon according to the hostess. Often we have a very large group and this last time we had 18 people. Regardless of group size they have always been able to accommodate us (with a reservation) and serve us quickly. The noise level was down-right distracting- since it's one big room at the sound carries + the music volume was ridiculous. I could hardly hear anyone that I was out to lunch with. I had a "Black and Bleu" burger, which was OK but definitely lower quality than some other local establishments (Milkman in OTR, for comparison). I ordered takeout from here for the second time -- but this time I stuck with the dishes they're more known for, and was pretty impressed with the food. The server was very efficient in getting my takeout bag for me, and this time I noticed some more fun details of the restaurant. For example, they have a "gas station setup" in front of the building, so you can run over the hose and get a satisfying gas station "ding, I've arrived" any time you drive by. And the food was as good as advertised. I got the angus beef burger on rye. I love the rye bread option, for those of us trying to avoid the calories of a big bun. And the hamburger was very good -- very fresh and lean, with good quality meat with no filler that I could taste. It could have used a little more salt, but that was easy enough to remedy once I got home. I absolutely loved the fried pickles appetizer -- they were well-coated and perfectly fried, and the vinegar-soaked taste of the pickle gave a great zing once you bit through the crisp panko topping. I also got the wings as an appetizer, and thought they were just okay. The chicken itself wasn't particularly tender, though they were acceptable enough. However, I thought all the dipping sauces were excellent!! The broccoli I got as a side dish was the biggest disappointment -- it was overcooked almost to the mushy stage, making me think that, different from the other fresh ingredients here, its origin was probably a freezer bag (though I guess it's consistent with the nostalgia of this restaurant, as all of us were served overcooked veggies in the 60s). I polished the meal off with the key lime pie, which was absolutely delicious. So, despite a few misses, this restaurant definitely delivered -- fresh, good-quality meat, interesting sauces, and some consistently prepared food! read more

Been to this place a couple of times now since being back in Cincinnati, and dig all they are doing and the vibe thus far of the location. Pretty cool craftsmanship of the interior that delivers a fun vibe with some historical aspects of the Ford motor company. Food wise, we have been pretty pleased overall although both times I have ordered their burgers which have been highly solid. Nice and juicy and done just right as ordered. They also have some pretty decent sides as well and with the beer, they have 32 taps with ale good craft beer choices available but they also have macros for those that prefer them too. The service has been pretty decent for the most part, and if there is one thing I would note for any improvement it would be that the food provably could be a little hotter when delivered. It was decently warm but in comparison to other spots, just not as hot when it hit the table. But as mentioned, I do enjoy the spot and know I will be back. My family came here on a Saturday afternoon for an early dinner. My parents always visited the original location when they went to Florida, and were very excited to try this one when they heard it opened. There's ample parking in the lot in front of the place, and it was cool statues of cars in front of the doors. The inside has an assembly line the runs along the ceiling, and it creates a cool atmosphere if you love that type of stuff. Our party of 7 was seated quickly, probably as we were there before the dinner rush. We got our drinks quickly and ordered our dinners soon after. The table started with some orders of the pretzel sticks. They were okay, but I've definitely had better. Still filled the hungry hole in my stomach until the mains came. I ordered a chicken sandwich, as I'm not a burger person, which came with several toppings and a pretzel bun. It was delicious! The chicken was well cooked, all the toppings paired well with it, and the bun was fresh. My sweet potato tots also were super tasty, but definitely didn't need the caramel sauce they were served with. Everyone else said the burgers were awesome, even my grandfather who originally sent the burger back after being served one with onions when he specifically asked for no onions. The issue was righted and he enjoyed his new burger. All in all, we had a great evening here and would come back to try more options. My only complaint would be the lack of local beers. For a business in Cincinnati, I'd come to expect having some options wherever I went and was disappointed when there was none here. read more

Their French onion soup is amazing a star of the show ! The best thing I've had from them ! I got the brisket ranchero burger which is brisket, BBQ sauce, cheese, fried onion and pickles on a bun. I got it medium well and felt it was a little undercooked but I lived with it as we didn't see our waiter after someone dropped off our food. The tots were well seasoned and warm. The food was overall, pretty lackluster and disappointing. My friend had the half rack ribs and I did a mushroom swiss burger with tots. The ribs were ok, what you'd expect from a burger joint, lots of meat on them and the fries were tasty. The mushroom swiss was cold, the mushrooms were overdone, almost burnt, so they took away from the burger overall, lettuce tasted a bit gamey. It just simply wasn't worth the money. If you're a Ford's Garage fan and have been to the Florida locations, you'll be fine if you lower your bar a bit and go in with that expectation.
