The line takes an hour to get registered in the system so if you were having a true emergency you would die waiting to be checked in. She had been in the hospital since Wednesday, September 2, 2026. While waiting in my mom's room, I heard a woman asking for someone to come. She had been calling for maybe 5 minutes. Then she got louder and called for someone to help her and still no one came to check on her, so I went to the door and looked down the hallway, no one was around. I was trying not to leave my mom's room because she was in the bathroom so I was trying to stay nearby in case she needed help, so I yelled out can someone come help this woman, no one came. I asked my mom if she was okay, and she said yes, so I walked down the hallway and looked around the corner where there were two nurses at the desk. I said that the woman kept calling for help and they said that they were aware. This angered me, because 3 years ago my husband died in a nursing home where he was there for a short respite. The day that we went to pick him up they said that he died. I don't know why or how many times that this woman was calling for help but for them to ignore her like that is uncalled for. The day before this happened there was a nurse's protest for better wages and more nurses. I agree that nurse's should be paid more and that there should be more of them in the hospitals, but for the two nurse's that were there they should have checked on that woman and taken care of her needs.

And, ...finally here she comes into office with a coworker, from outside, carrying food bags, carrying shopping bags, laughing, walking to and fro to desks, back rooms, across waiting room. I knew immediately I was going to be delayed. Why, they're focused on having a baby shower today. Asked if she was on lunch break, her cohort said no, not on lunch. Woman sees me up in waiting room and as she's walking around, clearly not doing her job, sees me holding paper and says I'll take that. And,...another 20 minutes before she gets to her desk. Asked at front desk for manager phone number from woman who actually was checking people in, agreeing with me. She gives me a phone # for the hospital in Harvey Dialysis lab - WRONG NUMBBER. Yesterday advised I am only here for blood test, not MRI listed. ADVISED THREE OF THEM. Today, receive call to schedule MRI. The utter stupidity, attitude of "I'll get my work done with you after I'm done shopping, laughing, planning baby shower, walking around getting nothing done, ..." is OUTRAGEOUSLY UNPROFESSIONAL. You are either WORKING or on a LUNCH BREAK. Since when did low level employees get the idea that their personal needs are met first, during work hours, even though a PATIENT IS STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT YOU? I have witnessed many changes; upgrades and improvements to the facility as well as the hiring of more highly qualified specialists. Slowly and carefully dealing with the recent passing of my birth mother, my care team has advised and ordered many tests. Most of us are aware that roots run deep. My mom suffered with heart issues and one of those issues caused her death. I arrived early for my bloodwork and EKG. I have two follow up appointments next week and will keep you posted. Everyone is always so nice and professional. They take really good care in making me comfortable knowing my fear of needles. There is one thing that recently disappointed me. That is finding out that my primary care physician is retiring at the end of this month. Something I was not aware of. The receptionist kept stating that a letter was supposed to be mailed out. I'm happy I will get to see her next week, say goodbye and wish her well.

I never received a link, so I assumed I did not need one. The receptionist, whose name I did not get, decided to wait 2 hours before saying anything about a link. However, in those 2 hour she had time to sit on her phone with someone and complain about other patients and about a man she is seeing, whom she thinks is seeing someone else, but she's still going to see him, but she is not sleeping in the bed with him. I do not appreciate the fact that she had time to talk but she could not complete the duties of her job. I do not appreciate my time being wasted, especially since I live over 45 minutes away. I would appreciate it if management could review employee phone privileges during work hours, as excessive personal use appears to be interfering with essential job responsibilities.

They first tested for COVID & 17 other viruses which came back negative. ERICA D. gave him a thorough exam, listened to his lungs, even found wax buildup in his ears. He's a cardiac patient and susceptible to pneumonia but before I could ask, she ordered a chest ex-ray. Because of the ex-ray, he was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection and prescribed steroids and antibiotics. I value how thorough she was and how she listened to our concerns and symptoms, which enabled her to diagnose him accurately. From start to finish we were there two hours versus many more hours in the ER. Ver happy with the friendly staff and service we received from ERICA D. Thank you!!
