We were checking out of a beach house with our family at 10am on Monday. However we planned to stay a few more days. I had gotten a text message are check in time was 4pm. I responded asking if it was possible we could check in earlier and they let us! They texted me the second a room was available and clean and we were able to check in at 11:30. It was perfect! we checked out of the house at 10, went and got breakfast and then was able to drop our stuff and head to the beach. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach, and a 5 minute walk to the sub shop, Dairy Queen, and my favorite ice cream place - tropical treats! The ladies were so sweet and very accommodating! For sure will come back next year!

Each room has its own split unit AC so you can chill it as much as you want - and, trust me, I did. I really appreciated the cool air, especially since I stayed at the Fairfield last month and the room was HOT. I also appreciated that the rooms have a finger-type lock so I could just put in my code with my finger instead of searching for a room key (they give you one if you'd like). I personally loved this little hotel and thought it was a great location and decent price for when I was there. Customer service couldn't have been any better. Texts were returned a second after they were sent. Parking is a breeze, even coming in late at night.

And what makes this so crazy is the fact that this location was renovated about 5 years ago! I want to start with the good and talk about the people here. They do have great employees that are always kind and emphatic to you, but must not have any control over the condition of the hotel. They do have a market like most Marriott properties where you can buy frozen food, drinks, and snacks, and have a continental breakfast every morning with eggs, some sort of meat, yogurt, waffles, bagels, cereal, and usually either hash brown patties or biscuits. Each room comes with the basics. A TV, bathroom, closet, window, etc.. There are no balconies in any of the rooms. Last time I was here, the shower drain was stopped up and ended up flooding my bathroom a bit. This time, NONE of the room keys could open ANY of the room doors, meaning that no one could get into their room. The ONLY thing that they had was a little key fob that they used to get people in their rooms. Meaning that the employee working at the front desk had to go with the resident to their room to open their room for them. That is ridiculous. And there have been issues before that, but these are the two recent ones. I would not recommend staying at this property.
