Disgusting food. Mac and cheese had bugs in it and owner tried to argue that I should have kept the contaminated, bug-infested food overnight to bring back the next day. He was totally an a-hole. If you want poor customer service, high prices and contaminated food, then shop here!

This is a great market to stop at if you're staying at the Westin St. John and would like to stock up on some supplies. They have a very good selection of produce, meats, packaged foods, wine/beer/spirits, and sundries. In short, everything you could need while staying at a resort. It's also very close to the Westin and an easily walkable 5 min from the entrance to the resort. After becoming frustrated with the quality and price of breakfast at the Westin, I came here looking to buy ingredients to make breakfast. Basically I was sick of paying $40 for mediocre breakfasts for 2. At St. John market I was able to get eggs, bagels, cream cheese, oil/salt/pepper, fruit for a fruit salad, and mango juice for ~$20. Still pricey, but food on an island is generally pricey and this was enough food for 3 days of breakfast. So $3.50/meal compared to $20/meal at Westin and for better tasting food. A steal!

You must stop here if planning to stay on the island. They have all the necessary rations you're going to need.

All the basics you may need whilst on the island. Remember pretty much everything here is imported so don't expect mainland prices.

The next time the vibe was the same until I cracked a couple jokes and got a small smile. Whew. Anyway the food selection is actually pretty decent. It would be nice if they had more health choices for frozen foods. But they have a lot of healthy options for shelf stable stuff. No prepared foods but if you want a fruit cup go to Starfish (further, in Cruz Bay) OR down the street to calabash market maybe 5 min on right down the road. They don't have a listing on yelp so I'm going to throw out there that Calabash has a super friendly owner, his wife makes all the hummus & some prepared foods like stuffed grape leaves, tuna salads, etc. herself. It is a small store but has some gem items in there and a VERY nice supply of Häagen-Dazs ice cream!!!!! Anyway back to Dolphin Market in coral bay because it's closer to where we stay. We definitely run there . For some staples. Good choice of organic shelf foods but it is BIGGER and has SO MUCH MORE in Cruz Bay! For a full shopping you may want to take the hike there.

The woman working at the counter was blatantly rude and completely ignored us when we said good morning and didn't respond when we attempted to make conversation during checkout. The produce on the shelves was rotten and not fit for sale. Their prices were also higher than Calabash. Just keep driving...

We were staying at Margaritaville Vacation Club Resort by Wyndham recently…read more We got there later than we wanted due to rental car issues at the airport because they oversold which left us without a car for the night. So we grabbed a taxi and headed to the resort. When we finally arrived we grabbed some drinks and dinner at the resort, but wanted to have some late night snacks and waters for the room. I asked the girl working at the front desk if there was anything within walking distance and she gave me directions to this place. We headed towards the front gate and walked to the store. It is rather close, maybe a 5 minute walk from the resort. It's a dark path mostly on the side of the road and it might seem sketchy, but it's not. That's just island culture. Relax! Nothing to fear. We walked in and were surprised at the wide variety of items they have. Beer, liquor, meats, cheeses, fruit, lottery, oil for your car, etc, etc. They even have different vegan cheeses, which was a pleasant surprise to me. Yay! Listen, the store is overpriced but what places aren't in St. Thomas!? It's all about the convenience and hours when it comes to this place. We bought some waters, fruit, cheese, and crackers and headed back to the hotel. It's a great little store for anyone staying near Coki Beach. FYI: They will have anything you want and/or need for your hotel stay or a day at the beach. Enjoy!
