Great grocery story with a good selection. Much cheaper than Dolphin Market. The prices on the island are steep in general. Cereal costs $10-12/box, same for oatmeal. But then some things aren't bad like eggs and they do run sales on certain items so look out for those! In general, most locals grocery shop on St. Thomas and bring the groceries back over on the ferry since the price difference is that astounding (a car ferry costs $50, so that tells you something). In that same complex, there is an AMAZING authentic italian gelato place (entrance to starfish complex on the left) and a really great sandwich place the locals even frequent (top floor of the complex). I'd highly recommend both! PS if the parking at the bottom lot is full, just head up to the top lot.

Overall great market with shelves mostly stocked. Some great service mixed with some not so friendly service. Prices seemed fair overall. Our deli sandwiches which we packed for lunch one day were $7.95, a deal in today's economy. It was good, but the bread was much too hard for being freshly made. We were staying upstairs at the Marketplace Suites and we just loved the convenience of coming here for all our needs while in town.

The Starfish Market is one of the larger grocery stores on the island. There is adequate parking and a few check out lanes that move smoothly. The employees are friendly. They sell fresh produce and have a meat counter. There is a well stocked isle of alcohol and some soda and other drinks. Rum seems to be the cheapest priced item on the island. The isles are filled with many name brand foods. At first glance the prices are difficult to comprehend but when you put it into prospective you adjust pretty quick. If you are a big family or want to cut your vacation costs it is a wise idea to bring your own staples. It's cheaper to pay for an extra piece of luggage filled with dry goods over shopping here. To give you an example of pricing...a small bag of island coffee was $19.99 ...One box of Cheerios Oat Crunch is $8.49 and a pint of Ben & Jerry's is $8.39. All of the prices are high.

Hot deli at Starfish was awesome. All that food for under 10 bucks. You can grab beers from Starfish Liquors across the way.

Super rude and disrespectful. Got screamed at by 3 people when we walked in. If you are a visitor or white... don't recommend going here.

Best groceries on the island. Surprisingly fresh kitchen and deli items, and really anything else you would need.

The next time the vibe was the same until I cracked a couple jokes and got a small smile. Whew. Anyway the food selection is actually pretty decent. It would be nice if they had more health choices for frozen foods. But they have a lot of healthy options for shelf stable stuff. No prepared foods but if you want a fruit cup go to Starfish (further, in Cruz Bay) OR down the street to calabash market maybe 5 min on right down the road. They don't have a listing on yelp so I'm going to throw out there that Calabash has a super friendly owner, his wife makes all the hummus & some prepared foods like stuffed grape leaves, tuna salads, etc. herself. It is a small store but has some gem items in there and a VERY nice supply of Häagen-Dazs ice cream!!!!! Anyway back to Dolphin Market in coral bay because it's closer to where we stay. We definitely run there . For some staples. Good choice of organic shelf foods but it is BIGGER and has SO MUCH MORE in Cruz Bay! For a full shopping you may want to take the hike there.

The woman working at the counter was blatantly rude and completely ignored us when we said good morning and didn't respond when we attempted to make conversation during checkout. The produce on the shelves was rotten and not fit for sale. Their prices were also higher than Calabash. Just keep driving...

We were staying at Margaritaville Vacation Club Resort by Wyndham recently…read more We got there later than we wanted due to rental car issues at the airport because they oversold which left us without a car for the night. So we grabbed a taxi and headed to the resort. When we finally arrived we grabbed some drinks and dinner at the resort, but wanted to have some late night snacks and waters for the room. I asked the girl working at the front desk if there was anything within walking distance and she gave me directions to this place. We headed towards the front gate and walked to the store. It is rather close, maybe a 5 minute walk from the resort. It's a dark path mostly on the side of the road and it might seem sketchy, but it's not. That's just island culture. Relax! Nothing to fear. We walked in and were surprised at the wide variety of items they have. Beer, liquor, meats, cheeses, fruit, lottery, oil for your car, etc, etc. They even have different vegan cheeses, which was a pleasant surprise to me. Yay! Listen, the store is overpriced but what places aren't in St. Thomas!? It's all about the convenience and hours when it comes to this place. We bought some waters, fruit, cheese, and crackers and headed back to the hotel. It's a great little store for anyone staying near Coki Beach. FYI: They will have anything you want and/or need for your hotel stay or a day at the beach. Enjoy!
