I learned that Advanced Care Pet Hospital declaws cats which has been proven to be physically,…read moreemotionally, and mentally detrimental. Declawing, which is amputation of the third digit of the toe, sentences a cat, if it lives through the surgery and recovery, to lifelong pain and suffering. I recently spoke to an employee at this hospital and asked if I could send them information on how detrimental this is to cats, she said they are well aware that it's detrimental and they have no need for supporting documentation. They will continue to offer this major surgery. Many states are banning this, making it illegal to perform this mutilation of a cat's paws (doesn't matter whether a guillotine-type cutter, scalpel, or laser is used--it's inhumane). Please read the truth about "declawing" in these links: https://citythekitty.org/declawing-facts-vs-myths-humane-options/ https://www.declawing.com/the-truth-about-declawing To find an ethical veterinarian who will not declaw, and who honors their oath "do no harm" here is a link: https://pawproject.org/no-declaw-vets-directory/ It's important not to support veterinarians who perform procedures/surgeries that they know is harmful just to increase their bottom line.

They did everything they could to make it affordable for me to keep Bob and when time came to put him down they could not have been more compassionate and kind to us both. Same with my next senior cat Lily. Now I have Missy the cat and Abby the dog and again I trust them and appreciate the way they go out of their way to offer care and advice and never make me feel like a dunce with my barrage of questions. Same goes for the rest of the staff. Nothing but love for Advanced

I rushed my pom into his hospital in complete hysteria and they immediately jumped into action to try to save her life. Unfortunately she was already dead. I wasn't a patient of his clinic but he still welcomed me. He spoke very comforting words in my time of distress. I was a complete train wreck losing my furbaby but Dr. Neilson remained calm and showed me empathy. He didn't charge me. He helped me make funeral arrangements and allowed me as long as I need to grieve in the room with my dog. I could really feel the love and care Dr. Neilson has for animals and humans. I am grateful to have came across this clinic and I plan on using them when I add another furbaby to the family.

I was met with the utmost kindness and empathy. I expected to be told that my dog is old and it's just his time, but instead Dr. Caylie Hake gave him the care and treatment he deserved. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Hake. She was extremely kind and I was very surprised when she asked me numerous times how I was doing. The way she communicated with me was amazing and I felt that she truly cared about me and Coco. I could tell that she knew how important my little Coco was to me and that meant a lot. Dr. Hake also took the time to discuss the next steps and answer my plethora of questions. Due to Covid-19 we could only chat via phone call, but she stayed on the line with me for close to 30 minutes discussing the diagnosis and next steps. Hopefully your fur baby never needs to be taken in for an emergency visit, but if so I highly recommend BluePearl Pet Hospital. They will treat your fur baby like a beloved member of your family.

After an hour we called again and told we were next in line. After another hour and seeing other pets go into the clinic we called again and were told that other critical patients came in. We told them our dog had not eaten for 24 hours or drank any water and was throwing up. Apparently that isn't critical enough for them. We ended up leaving after being told it would be another 90 minutes before we would be seen if another critical case didn't come in. The only reason it got a 1 star is because I couldn't rate it a zero star
