My girlfriend and I have been coming to this place for years and we're usually big fans. Lately we've been less impressed but kept going. Tonight was the end of it. We showed up for my birthday dinner with her and her parents. It was just before 6pm on a Thursday evening. Besides our table there were at the time two other tables of people indoors, and two other tables of people outdoors on the patio. It was much quieter than usual, we assumed because summer bbq weather. We were seated quickly, and they took our orders quickly. Great. Then it falls apart. One of us orders a salad, another orders a different type of salad. One of us orders wings, fries and a coke. I ordered the All You Can Eat wings and a beer. Now I initially asked if there were any beer specials on, I recalled that from the website. The waitress said no. Fine, I ordered whatever. After she left, we turned one of the table top ad's over and I saw the $6.99 beer special that I saw from the website. Ok. Fine. Moving on. After 10-15 minutes the waitress comes and says the wing sauce I ordered isn't available. Thats fine, I swapped it out with a less spicy alternative. 5 minutes later the food arrives. The two salads were both partially wrong. One asked for dressing on, the other asked for dressing on the side, it was mixed up. Still, no big deal. The real issue here is we have nothing to eat with. When the food arrives we ask if we can have cutlery, napkins, and the side dishes and wet naps that come with wings. It took over ten minutes for that to arrive. By this point everyone's getting fairly antsy as we're hungry, and our food is right in front of us. (Oh, side note here, she gave us seconds of drinks. That was nice. No one asked for that.) I guess the wing people could have eaten, but a napkin is nice and its rude to eat while the others can't. We had to finally flag our waitress down after she disappeared into the back for a whole and ask again, we finally ate 10 minutes after our food arrived. She came around again and asked how we were doing, most of us were done. I asked for the next instalment of wings. I asked for a basket of the spicy garlic parm, and the sweet spicy Asian, I forget the name, its one of the spicier ones. And then we wait. By this point everyone is well done, our drinks (the original ones) empty. It's been nearly 30 minutes and she finally shows up with the wings. I asked for two separate baskets of those wings, sauce on. She brought one basket of wings, no sauce, instead the sauces in two very small cups beside the wings. She said the kitchen couldn't do my order as I'd asked. No explanation as to why or why not. They had the wings. They had sauce, at least some sauce, that was definitely not enough sauce to cover the wings as Id asked. Were they short on baskets and plates? Why did it take THAT LONG to tell me and by that point its too late? No explanation. Frustrated at this point we just asked if we could have a take out container for the wings and the bill. She offered lids to the sauce cups, yes please. We got our bill, paid and left in a hurry. We debated not leaving a tip but we couldn't bring ourselves to do that. We hoped our sour faces and rush to leave would express our disappointment, failing that then a bad review will do. We mostly don't understand the problems, whatever it was wasn't explained. They couldn't have been overworked, it was largely empty and they seemed to have staff about. But excessive wait times and constant inaccuracies abound. Oh, and finally, right on the AYCE wing special, theres a contest to win a wing poncho. There was no given method to win this nor no offer from the staff. Service was ok , nachos has maybe 2 oz of cheese on them , the toppings all fell off when you tried to pick them up , the guacamole looked like something that comes in a tooth paste tube. I checked the rating walking in so I immediately prepared myself for disappointment. I've been a Leafs fan my whole life so I have some experience in that area. Service was prompt and friendly and the draft list was extensive. "Keith's Please", not trying to offend the young lady who was obviously proud of her ability to rhyme off the list. Menu is broad , perhaps a mid west version of Moxie's or Red Robin. Everyone at my table agreed that their meals were good. I had the chili, which was quite tasty but a bit sweet. I probably didn't need, nor was I expecting, the side of deep fried garlic fingers but they weren't bad. Two of our guests had the Cobb, looked pretty good. All in all, not spectacular but not bad either. I'd go back if in the area, but perhaps use my Yelp app first to find an alternative. read more

My partner was here once before and tried the wings. He didn't talk much about the wings them self, but the sauces and wanted to give them another go, and have me try them too... It was a Friday night, between 11pm-12am; besides the two of us, we seen only 6 other people. 4 people at the bar (including staff) and two people sitting at a table near us who left shortly after we arrived. We were greeted from the staff behind the bar as soon as we walked in, which was welcoming. We received our menus quickly and placed our drink orders then, two simple pops, which arrived right away! We placed our order when the pops arrived. We got 2LBs of wings to share, the server was very kind to split it by 4 so we could try 4 different sauces, which was awesome! For the wings, they have a lot of sauce options, not as much as bubba rays, but quite a bit. Some interesting ones too! We picked hot & honey garlic, buffalo ranch, garlic & parm and suicide. They also come with a large side of fries. Unlike some other reviews, I did really like the fries. They were perfectly cooked; crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The wait for the wings was much longer than expected considering how empty the restaurant was. The hot & honey garlic was hot and tasty. In fact, it was way hotter than the 'suicide' wings. When our server came back to check on us we mentioned this and she brought us a side of 'hotter then hell' sauce. As its name suggests, it's hot. Anyway, the sign over the door says 'devilishly good', let me break this down based on my experience.... Devilishly - Devil - Hell - Hot - Fire - Burnt... seems about right. The wings were very over cooked, parts were burnt. I did not find the chicken rubbery, and I still ate all of the wings. But, they weren't close to ideal and I wouldn't get them again. I was actually surprised the kitchen staff would send them out like that. If it wasn't for them being covered in sauce I wouldn't have enjoyed them even a little bit as much as I did. Using the word 'enjoy' is probably giving them too much credit. On a plus side, the dill dip that comes with the wings was dill-icious. It made a great fry dip too! Besides the one check-in, our server wasn't very attentive, again - the place was empty, she could have provided incredible service if she wanted to. We received no drink refills, or offers too, which he needed (I shared mine instead!) It wasn't until payment time that she put it on, complimented my bag, chit chatted a bit - what you expect! I wish she had of been like that the entire time. Mind you, she was pleasant the entire time and the BIG problem we have with this place was the food, which is nothing on her. This all being said, if you're like me you've probably been reading other reviews after considering trying this place, it is new and all. I'm not saying don't it, I'm just saying don't do it with high expectations. With all of these reviews I genuinely hope St. Louis steps up their game. It may be a chain resto, but that doesn't mean they can't hire some good staff (in the kitchen) who care about their workplace, or provide a great customer experience. Wings are always steaming hot, crispy and succulent, with good flavour options for all walks of life. Sir E recommends you check out wing night on a Tuesday though, as you don't get that same bang for your buck otherwise. Bonus round: wing plates come with fries and dill sauce, yes you hear E right! For sometime now we have driven by this establishment on our way to our preferred eatery. So yesterday we decided to try it. Upon entering we were ushered to the darkest corner in the restaurant under a giant TV over our head. The waitress came over and asked us what we wanted for drinks. We ordered. Five minutes later she came back to take our order. Both the wife and I chose the Crispy Chicken Sandwich which it looked to be quite nice in the lunch menu. I ordered the 4 pack of chicken wings to go with mine. We waited, we waited. From the time we ordered to the time we received the food was 20 minutes. What a disappointment. I opened up the sandwich which had some chopped lettuce, a slice of tomato and a slice of pickle. No condiments of any kind so I asked foy mayo. She brought and mustard. The bun which was a normal burger and after looking at the size of the piece of chicken to go in it was a bit of a disappointment. The piece of chicken was thicker than it was wide. I cut it so I could cover the whole bun. After I dressed it up it tasted ok. My wife wasn't impressed at all. The french fries were not fresh and soggy. The chicken wings were a disappointment as well. I do better at home. So all in all it was a not a great adventure. Will we return again. I highly doubt it. I wonder about how management or servers can be so lax. The place was not clean. Just sitting waiting for the food it appears they don't do a very good cleaning job. The amount of dirt and dust on the decor, baseboards etc was disgusting. The amount of garbage under a counter visible to us was a bit of a surprise. As far as the server goes it appeared that it was a chore for her to do her job. I received the bill, paid for it and yes I left a tip. Disappointing we departed not impressed. I am torn as to what to write for this one. I feel as though this place has potential, but my experience was not great. I am hoping this lack-luster experience is due to the establishment being overwhelmed with the never-ending line up of people wanting to try this place out. Their deal for the night was 1/2 price appetizers, so I decided to try the bacon wrapped macaroni and cheese balls. There were 6 in total (good size), and they were served with a special ketchup-like dipping sauce. Unfortunately, I could not even finish one of them. The bacon was so fatty that I was not even able to chew it (which I find somewhat confusing, as it was supposed to be deep fried, so I would have thought the bacon would be crispier?). The mac and cheese that I did taste, honestly, just tasted like liquid nacho cheese. To be honest, I'm not sure that there were noodles under the bacon fat. I also ordered a club sandwich. The fries were good and the sandwich was so-so as the chicken was rubbery, and almost like eating an eraser. I actually took the chicken out of the sandwich so I could enjoy the rest of it. As for service, it was okay. The girls are nice, their shirts are just thin enough that you can see the patterns on their bra in the right light, and their smiles are pretty. But, again, I think because of the rush of people, I felt as though we were being rushed to make decisions. A few people have given this place some bad reviews but they are mostly within the first few weeks of opening. We stopped in there tonight and both of us enjoyed our meal and service. I had the bacon cheddar burger (with jalapeños) and my wife had the veggie burger. Both were yummy. The waitresses were double teaming all of the tables so nobody had a lack of service. We went opening week on the Thursday night and the place was very busy. We had a 30 minute wait, which I would not consider to be uncommon. Once seated, we were greeted by our server and she was very pleasant considering she said this has been their busiest night yet. We ordered beer sausage and deep fried pickles to start. I'm not as big a fan of the pickles as my wife but she said they were very good and they come with a garlic dill dip that is addictive! I am a fan of sausage and it was very good. It comes with both a special mustard and a spicy ketchup. I would recommend trying this. For main meals we both had the four play platter - four bones of ribs, 4 regular wings, 4 boneless wings plus fries. We chose a variety of different sauces and it was very good. Certainly more than enough to eat. I was not unhappy with any of my meal. This place is set-up like a sports bar with lots of tv's. It has a restaurant chain look (very clean cut) but I thought that is was quite nice. I was happy with the food and will be back. read more

So I actually created a Yelp account just to write this review - this place was that bad. Went today during lunch. The place was packed, but was welcomed warmly and we had a table within a few minutes. Waitress arrived promptly and we got our drinks quickly. Order was taken... and then the wait. And we waited, and waited some more. Nearly 45 minutes between taking our order and receiving our food. During that time we noticed several other tables experiencing problems. Not once during this 45 minutes did our waitress come back to refill drinks or even say "I'm sorry for your wait." I ordered the club sandwich, fries were luke warm and the chicken was rubbery and close consistency to beef jerky. Actually ended up taking it off the sandwich to try and salvage some of the meal. Ended up leaving most of it on the plate. Hubby ordered the pulled pork sandwich, which arrived without BBQ sauce - he ended up eating it just because he was so hungry and didn't want to wait who knows how long to get a replacement. When the waitress finally returned - we had finished and just wanted to leave. She did make some comment asking about my sandwich, I voiced my issues to which she responded "I will let the kitchen know, we have only been open a few weeks." Waitress took quite a while to get our drinks. Didn't bring out appetizers for starters; and food took 45 minutes. Everything took way too long for how not busy it was. I got the chicken tacos, and they were awful. I'm never one to leave a restaurant without finishing most of my meal, but I had two bites of the taco and couldn't finish them. I really like St. Louis wings. The beer is cold and the wings are hot. My fiance and I go every Tuesday night for wing night, and it never disappoints. Do yourself a favor and try the deep fried pickles, really great breading. I sometimes get 2 lb and take the leftovers home for lunch the next day. Nicely decorated and very clean, the resto gets top marks for consistency. The owner can usually be seen taking an active interest in his establishment, which is a plus. We usually arrive at 5pm on Tuesday, which must be the staff changeover. It was really uncomfortable sitting in our preferred high top table while 4-6 staff members complained about customers and immersed on their smartphones next to us. Been. Twice, both times the food was really good ! Service was also great . First visit had the Chicken and Waffles, something I have always wanted to try. Was pleasantly pleased. Very good chicken, waffles were fluffy, sauce was fairly spicy, only thing I could say is that they could have provided some maple syrup to go with. Would have been great with the flavors. Had the sweet potato fries as my side, also very well cooked. Light and crispy, went well with the chicken and waffles. Second visit started with the Chippers.... Cajun flavor with their Dill sauce. SOOOOO good ! My entrée was the chicken Quesadilla....good serving size, very tasty. Fried cheesecake for dessert. Husband and I have been here once before and the service was awful but the food was delicious so we decided to try it again today. When we first arrived it was a very cold welcome - not even a smile. We were seated at a table that was still dirty from the customers before us and the waitress asked us if we'd like a drink and my husband asked if we could get a clothe to wipe the table and she rolled her eyes and said yeah one second. After wiping the table we ordered our food and drinks and the waitress was just very rude and uncaring. It amazes me how people with 0 customer service skills get a job in this industry.. waited about 15 minutes for our food (good wait time in my opinion) and the food was delicious. Waitress only refilled our pop once when we were almost done eatting and by the time we were ready to pay she came up to the table with a smile and tried acting all nice after her shit service (hoping to get a better tip I'm sure..). This place is fine. Went here and didn't realize it was wing night with half price wings so my buddy and I decided to try them. They are 1 pound of wings (you can get more of less). Lots of variety in terms of regular wings, boneless, breaded, not breaded sauce type etc. I love intensely spicy wings so I went with suicide (there are two sauces hotter, wasn't feeling THAT adventurous, but maybe some day) and my buddy got regular buffalo boneless. We both got sauce on the side When we got our wings, it turned out the kitchen screwed up the sauces and my friend found out, rather unpleasantly, that they had put the suicide sauce in his basket and the buffalo sauce in mine! He isn't used to that kind of heat. Aside from it being personally funny for me to watch him turn bright red, have tears roll down his eyes and chug insane amounts of water, it's concerning that the kitchen screwed up the order. What if he had had an allergy and was given the wrong plate? Anyway, the wings themselves were good, which came with fries and a nice dill sauce as well. It's worth noting that there is mostly nothing healthy to choose from so only go if you're on a cheat day or just plain don't care about eating healthy. read more

Where do i start...i wanted to try this place because it is new and because i love wings...my first impression of this very small resturant was crowded, tables were too close togather to the point you couldnt even get between them to be seated. Staff were pleasant but far too stretched and busy to properly attend to the customers. I asked for a large beer mug of Pepsi and was denied i was given a glass of pepsi and was promised it would be refilled promptly and it was not...infact when i asked for a refill it never did arrive untill we were done eating and leaving after paying for the meal. The food was nothing special...i had Mississippi Honey Bbq wings and found the sauce a little sweet and sickning after a couple wings...overall i was not impressed with the place and dont think i will be returning anytime soon...Sorry St.Louis ya didnt make a lasting impression on me. read more

Came here tonight for wings and it was brutal. Drinks took over 30 minutes to get there, and the food was over an hour. My wings came out severely overcooked and what I thought was spilled medium sauce from my sauce on the side turned out to be some sort of tomato sauce all over my wings. I waited for about 15 minutes for her to quality check because it was extremely busy, after that we tried to flag her down twice. I had to ask for the check after an hour and a half there. Even then when she saw I didn't eat my wings she didn't ask if anything was wrong. She quality checked other tables around us, but seemed to avoid us entirely. Unfortunately, this was an extremely poor experience and I won't be returning. I understand people get busy when the resto is full but completely avoiding a table is just poor service. Also, kitchen- how are you going to spill some other form of sauce all over an order and not take the extra minute to replace the paper and the 8 wings in the basket ? Unreal. read more

Arrived at 2:00pm on a Thursday. Only a few people having lunch. Service was great and very friendly. The food on the other hand was not very good. Bacon Mac & cheese was a waste of time. My wife had a wedge salad and she said it was ok but would never order it again. I had the Buffalo wrap. Was hardly any chicken in it at all. Was 95% salad inside. I also wouldn't order it again. As one of the biggest supporters of St Louis it pains me to say that in the last few months the quality has gone down. They have only been open less than a year and yet here we are. The very first time I went I got the poutine which was terrible I mean the gravy was obviously canned and gross I barely ate it and said I would never go back, I had a Jolly Rancher Cocktail with it and everyone agreed it was one of the worst tasting cocktails they had ever had (East Side Marios does a Jolly Rancher slushie that is great). Everything is served with a dill dip which has me addicted to dill dip. Also they don't have rootbeer on top they only have the bottles of roobeer. My friends convinced me to go back because they got the chicken tenders. Once I had one bite of the tender it was like heaven. I began craving them and would even order take out for my lunch they were spectacular. I have tried other items on the menu such as the wings which were nothing special, the fried chicken which was hard and flavourless, bruschetta which tasted very weird and strange and unpleasant,a dn the $5 Wednesday burger which was burnt greasy and gross. I also tried to order the Mac and Cheese Bites without the bacon, I've had them with the bacon and its rubbery and uncooked so everyone peels it off. They said they absolutely could not make them without bacon and said they have a mac and cheese for kids but that I couldn't order it. The waitress was unbelievebly rude about it. To top it off the last 2 times I have gone the chicken tenders have been full of cartilidge so much that I couldn't eat a few of them and the ones you do eat are so greasy they the grease literally drips down your chin and the fries are suddenly flavourless. Not sure why they have gone down hill but in terms of service and quality but as a loyal customer they have lost me and my friends. There are a few highlights to this place: Devils Daiquiri is the best cocktail and the desserts are above par in my opinion. I went with a friend for my birthday and will NEVER be back. We sat down and ordered a drink and told the waitress we planned to sit and hang out with some drinks for a while before ordering, and she kept walking by and staring at us waiting for us to order. Then she came over about 3 different times asking to take our order. We finally ordered nachos just to get her off our back, then she kept asking if we were ready to order our main course. All this happened within a 20 minute span after us telling her we wanted to wait. So I finally told her we were going to order poutines but wanted to take them to go so we don't want to order them until just before we leave. Next thing you know (5 minutes later) she comes out with our 2 poutines and the debit machine!!!! It didnt matter how many times we told her we WERE NOT ORDERING FOOD UNTIL LATER, or WERE NOT READY TO LEAVE she kept walking by or sat and staring at us, rushing us out. Just want to start off by asking, if "your blender was broken for months" then why are you serving blended drinks? I ordered a strawberry daiquiri and this chick comes back with a glass of syrup and cubed ice.. when I asked for a different drink, she gave me an attitude and I had to argue to get that taken off by bill. Sorry, I took two sips of that and had to pay because I couldn't drink it because wasn't made properly? So disappointing. Then I got my meal which was a sandwich that specifically advertises the artisan bun. Receive it, and it's on a hamburger bun. So disappointing. Sooo disappointing, don't recommend going here because even after that experience I went back and no improvements, bad food, service, and staff. Went for lunch today after looking at the menu online and saw they have something called bacon wrapped mac & cheese so I had to give it a try. I was not disappointed, the 6 that were served were cooked well and were just the right size for a mouthful of bacon and cheese goodness. Also had a small serving of wings which were also cooked well and were not fatty like most places I've tried lately and has a nice amount of spice to them. The lunch servicing of chicken strips were just OK, the portion size was good, but they lacked flavor. Overall I found it good food for the price. The burger special my friend had was only $5.50 and came with fries. The restaurant doesn't have a huge seating area but lots of TV's for sports viewing and the service was a little slow, but they've only been open for a week so that's expected. We went there tonite to eat dinner for my niece's birthday. The food was great with everything we had we started off with the onion bites and the bacon mac n cheese and a pitcher of sangria. I ordered the four way which is half rack of ribs and 1/2 lb of chicken wings and boneless chicken wings with fries. My sister had the boneless chicken bites and a beer the Monday special. My niece had the cheddar burger with mushrooms add with fries. My mom had the fish and chips. My niece's boyfriend had the chicken and waffles and my nephew had a chicken poutine with chicken wings and bites. What I didn't like about our service was that she didn't bring us any plates or napkins after she took our drink order and had to be reminded about it she was nice and very thing but that's not how you make your tips by not giving us napkins or plates we left a tip any way but not as much as we usually do read more

Service was average for the industry, but the staff were very friendly and polite. Burger was actually decent, I've had better, but I've also had worse, however the patty was smaller than the bun, which wasn't big to begin with. I added the crispy onions to the burger, and they were quite overdone. Cheese on cheeseburger is the nasty sliced processed crap. Poutine was incredibly small. Large fries in a tiny bowl that wasn't even filled. At least they used the right kind of cheese though, and didn't just throw shredded mozzarella on it like some places do. To their credit, what little Poutine that there was was actually was quite tasty and I liked the gravy they used. My wife ordered the wings. Completely cooked to death. They were so shrivelled they looked mummified. I tried one and they were about as bad as they looked. The sauces were good however. Dessert, was actually delicious. I had the deep fried cheesecake. Presentation was very nice. The portion size wasn't nearly worth the $6.99 price tag on it though. It was quite small. It was also served with a soup spoon, that was nearly impossible to eat it with. Ended up pretty much smeared across the plate. In the end, two meals, one drink, and one dessert ran $50. There are plenty of places in town that will actually fill your belly for that price, and they won't cook the food to just shy of burnt. We don't eat out much, and are disappointed that we wasted our shot at it here. We won't be returning. read more

Great location. Nice addition to neighbourhood. Has potential. Food okay. Wouldn't get ribs or wings (over cooked/burnt). Young female staff spend way to much time talking about the drama in their lives. Customers shouldn't have to listen to this. Space very small. Will still go there to try different food on menu. read more

We visited this restaurant this evening. The server, Breanna, was rude. Our order took 45 minutes to come from the kitchen. My food was cold but given the time it took to get it and the server's attitude , I just ate it. I begrudged leaving a tip and only left the minimum 15 percent. I have eaten here several times, have had great servers and the food was great. However, it only takes one bad experience to ruin it all. No consistency!!! read more

We decided to try St Louis this past weekend after hearing some pretty good reviews from friends.. apparently it was their one yr anniversary... So we could appreciate it would be busy. We started by ordering a beer and a water. My partner didn't get a glass for his beer and my water just didn't show up. The waitress returned about 15 min later with my water and a, "oh, sorry bout that..." before disappearing again. When she finally returned to take our order, we decided to split a pound of wings and the nachos... DO NOT GET EITHER. The wings were severely overcooked to the point of dry, chewy, almost inedible. The nachos had some cheese melted, some not, had salsa within the mound so chips in the middle were soft and mushy, oh and nachos are topped with iceberg lettuce... Can't say I've ever had nachos with iceberg lettuce... Can't say I ever want to again. No offers to refill our drinks, and although the waitress wasn't "rude", I certainly wouldn't describe her as welcoming, friendly or even really overly happy to be at work.
