I purchased a bike, asked if I could try it as it was a mountain style bike. Not not allowed. I have had back surgery and 4 neck surgeries and fused 1 through 7. Purchased it. ended up falling do in fact to the forward position. Luckily I only end up with abrasion and neck and back pain. Weekend with pain med Manager on store on 41 very inflexible. Catholic sponsored store they are more concerned about liability in the shopping parking lot but could care less what happens after you leave the store. Won't let you try it but do not care past that. Did not even acknowledge my fall or injury. Uncaring manager no flexibility or attempt to satisfied a customer. read more

The selection is usually good and items transition quickly. The prices are ridiculous but they say its for a good cause. Granted but the items were given to you for free and you could be helping people that can't afford to buy quality items new read more

Best thrift stores in Florida. I hesitate to even say "thrift store" because it conjures up an image of dirty, used clothing you barely want to touch. I get items that would be astronomical at retail at a fraction of the cost. And all my purchases help the addicted in this community. I feel good about doing good...And I don't have to pick through garbage to find a gem like most thrift stores because merchandise is clean and I don't feel like I need a tetanus shot after leaving one of their locations..I never know what I'll find but I know it will be a unique treasure ...No more dumpster diving in the cheapy thrift stores...St Matt's has me spoiled.... read more

St Matthews has several review criticisms about the pricing of the articles available. I truly believe they have a right to price how they wish. Some good items BUT! Saying that, I also believe you have a right not to shop there. I have purchased several items from them and as I continued to go back, the prices have been escalated significantly as if it is a retail shop. There are many other thrift shops that would be better places to find bargains and you can even repair or redo the pieces of furniture or accessories you find. St Matthews in my opinion has adapted to the Naples mentality, "Charge high Prices because it's Naples", my quote. Won't be going back and that's regrettable. read more

An old car dealership turned into a thrift shop. Heavy emphasis on furniture and decor at this location with some of the rooms turned into specialty spots for furniture, shoes, clothing etc. This isn't a location with "everything". Despite its size they seem to specialize in certain items. No books, kids toys or puzzles/games on our visit. On the other hand, there were bikes, living and bedroom furniture sets and lots of decor items. One of the staff also went above and beyond in helping us locate some misplaced sunglasses, searching the entire store for nearly 10 minutes. He found them before I did. We just left this store,Betty(cashier) was amazing but the store manager Josie(what an attitude), does not care about showing customers the merchandise, she make us wait for Betty even though she was checking out multiple customers and then when it was closing time she came to us to help us. I am an office manager and I will never treat my customers in that way because I will like for them to come back. read more

Vourla Mediterranean Cafe Best lamb I've eaten in a long time! Tender - done just right as medium. I recommend the shish kabob - the most lamb done perfectly. The shepherd' salad is fantastic! Lentil soup was delicious. For desert, either the custard or the rice pudding with a glass of tea is the perfect ending. read more

Experience was overall very good! Place is clean and organized, racks are easy to sift through and separated by clothing type. Half of the store is for clothing and half of the store is for decor and furniture. I didn't spend much time looking at the furniture but I saw some beautiful dish selections. Prices are good, I got two pairs of 2000s type vintage sweats and each was under 10 dollars. There are fitting rooms which have enough space to try on items. Only criticism is that there is not much space between racks to fit through if it is super busy, but when I went it was pretty busy and we fit through just fine. read more

Wow. We just discovered the St Mathews in Bonita. What a wonderful store. I've been to all of them and this one is much better than the 2 in Naples. OK, the people at the little store in Naples are as nice as the people in Bonita. The difference is only the size. The big store in Naples, I just don't get it. That's why not 5 stars in the previous review. The kids that move the furniture around and accept donations are very warm and welcoming. Some others who price things in that store....not so much. It's gotten so expensive you can go to the mall or Marshall's and find things at the same price. These are donations of used goods. The big Naples store might want to rethink their attitude. I'll stick to Bonita and the smaller Naples store from now on. Keep up the good work and fair prices. And, Thank You for all you do for the community. read more

Huge thrift store located on Airport rd right before the courthouse. Furniture, jewelry, books, wall art and kitchen stuff to look over for a great bargain. My only complaint is the clothes aren't in order of any kind...may I suggest size would be helpful? Even more awesome, there's A Starbucks located directly inside. This is st Matthew's house when I say outside my door I literally mean outside my door I have called them on several occasions trying to give them nice furniture now I can hear them laughing and cutting up which is no big deal have fun on your job now these people are recovering addicts or people in recovery not all but some I get that I see their trucks coming in and out all day collecting items from different donors constantly now I called them the other day because I seen 2 of their trucks sitting in the yard not moving for several hours I was off work that day so I called them asking if they would like to come and get a couch and several other items that I was giving away they told me that there was a three week wait For them to come get items hold on three week wait what are you talking about I am looking at your trucks sitting here doing nothing I reminded them that I am literally looking at their trucks the lady laughed at me and told me do I have nothing better to do no longer will I donate to Saint Matthews I simply gave away the items I could have easily sold on fb to people in need. read more

This place used to have such amazing prices, the clothes weren't very organized but you could find a great deal on some super unique items. I was disappointed because I went recently (7/21/17) and found that all the clothes were organized into brands like Chicos and JCrew and all the prices were way too expensive. There was a non name brand dress I liked but it was $28 dollars... way too expensive in my opinion for something thats Used with no brand recognition at all. This place used to be my Go To thrift store for finding brand names like Coldwater Creek and Anne Taylor at incredibly low prices but now it's all too expensive. If you're looking specifically for lower than brand new prices on expensive-ish brands like Ralph Lauren than this is an okay spot, but if you're looking for unique clothing with cheap deals, St Matthews isnt the place. However, the furniture section is still awesome and reasonably priced. read more

Great thrift store near court house. Nice selection of furniture, clothes, collectibles, glass, jewelry, etc. Busy place, lots of parking. Cafe with Starbucks inside. Huge place with many different rooms of stuff. Tons of employees working, really friendly and nice. Go there for nearly anything you will need. Love this place. Great location on airport road, north of court house. It benefits a great cause too, St Mathews House. Great mix of high end items at great prices. You never know what you may find. read more

Be careful because there are 2 - about a mile apart from each other. When I went to the first (smaller) one I couldn't understand the great reviews - although it was a perfectly acceptable thrift shop, it was average at best. I thought my Floridian Yelpers had lost their minds! Aaah - but when I accidentally found the larger store - I understood! Based in what appeared to be a former car dealer, it was full of very nice quality furniture, lamps, and decor items. A bit of jewelry, a smattering of crystal and some misc 'stuff', all combined to make a treasure trove in which I happily spent an hour or two - along with a few hundred dollars! What was also nice (since I arrived right when they opened) was the small cafe on site selling Starbucks and light food items. Love it. read more

I use to love going to this place, as you got some great items for a fair price and it goes to a good cause. However, lately the place is a joke, items are priced higher than if bought new at retail. It is ridiculous and defeats the purpose of shopping at a thrift shop. I remember 3-4 years ago what an amazing place this was, but not anymore. This used to be a great place with great prices but since December the used clothing is sold at regular prices ! I mentioned it the sales people and one response is that it is for charity which is all good but then don't call yourself a thrift store . The furniture seems to marked appropriately but beware of clothing prices. For example - the USED LU LARUE pants are priced at $35 but the regular retail is $35 - needless to say the same leggings are still there after 5 months ‍. ... and the list goes on! read more

I have shopped here for four years and always enjoyed the hunt. Lately they are too big for their own britches. Pricing items comparing their items to the highest priced vintage store on the internet, sassy little counter girl named Ashley is dreadful everytime I go in the place. I was in need of a dresser to fit a tiny spot in my bedroom. I did not want to spend a lot of money because I have no plans on taking it with me if/when I ever move out of my rental. St Matthew's had exactly what I was looking for. I found a brand new 4-drawer dresser, perfect size, for the perfect price. They had a couple beautiful sofa sets that I would've bought had I been in the market for them. They helped me load the dresser, which was greatly appreciated. We have stopped at this thrift store every time we are in Naples which is a couple times a year. This last visit in June 2019 was very disappointing....prices are maxed out, the variety of household items was much more limited and the clothes were way over priced. I have a feeling things are picked over before they ever reach the sales floor. read more

This is my favorite store in Naples. Went to the 1/2 off sale in July. We had never been there before for this event. Lots of people present but wonderful deals. Have to go early. Found a Tommy Bahama style glass top dining room table with 6 chairs for $203! Pieces in great shape. Rented a UHaul truck to transfer the items to my home. Very well run business and the charity does a great job of fundraising, however that said the prices they are asking for most household items, furniture and nick-nacks are truly much to high. I've found things that are priced almost as much as the local discount stores that actually pay for the merchandise they are selling. There are other thrift shops in the area that offer things at a truly fair price. Disappointed. read more
