Everything from start to finish here was great! As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly/professional receptionist, and after filling out some paperwork, I was escorted into the room. It was clean and comfortable. The nurse went over how many units she would recommend, and when I said I was used to getting a bit less, she agreed and did not try to upsell or push me into purchasing more. She said if I decided I needed more, I could always come back. The doctor came in shortly after and did the injections while the nurse cooled my face using ice. This felt really pleasant! The doctor applied some arnica to help with any minor bruising that may appear. As I was leaving, the receptionist even offered me pineapple juice which also helps with bruising. I appreciated these small gestures that hadn't been done at other med spas I'd gone to in the past. I highly recommend this place for Botox.

After about five minutes, I was finally acknowledged--though the assistant appeared visibly annoyed. My appointment was scheduled for noon. I had arrived 15 minutes early, as requested, yet ended up waiting 45 minutes to see the doctor. During that time, I observed the staff and found that not all of them conducted themselves professionally. When I brought this up to the doctor, he reacted defensively and told me it wasn't my place to comment on his staff's professionalism. He briefly examined my skin and said one spot needed to be removed, scheduling me for a procedure three weeks later. At that appointment, he performed a shave biopsy, which came back positive--as I had already suspected, since I am very familiar with my own body. I then had to return again for a follow-up procedure to remove it completely. During that visit, I asked the assistant whether subcutaneous stitches would be used, and she didn't even know what that meant. I later learned that the doctor does not perform this type of stitching. To make matters worse, I was told that my insurance did not qualify me to request certain treatment options. I am well-educated, continue to educate myself daily, and come from a family of professionals including lawyers, educators, politicians, psychologists, psychiatrists, and doctors. While this physician may hold a medical degree, he clearly lacks both the communication skills and the level of care I would expect from a truly excellent dermatologist. I do not recommend this office at all--especially if you are a MEDICAL patient. You may be treated as though you are not valued.

As a registered nurse (RN) and someone whose mother had her thyroid removed at 27, I just knew something was off. I even wrote a book on optimizing thyroid function because I went so deep into the rabbit hole trying to fix this on my own. But despite clean eating, dedication, and endless research, the exhaustion never lifted. Then I came across Regenics at the LA Fit Expo and decided: this is the year I get answers. I signed up for the full lab panel -- and one result changed everything: ferritin. As a nurse, we never check ferritin (your backup iron stores) in the hospital. The inside is clean, modern, and welcoming. The front office staff was very friendly, and check-in was easy. The pricing was excellent through Groupon, which made it an easy treatment to try. The IPL treatment itself was comfortable. I only really felt the laser around my temples and nose, and afterward my face just felt a little tight--no significant pain or discomfort. My only disappointment was the communication from the nurse. She wasn't unfriendly, but she wasn't very engaging either. There may have been a language barrier, but very little was explained to me about the treatment. She did recommend upgrading to a different laser that she said would produce more noticeable results, but I declined and stayed with the IPL. I would have appreciated more explanation about the differences between the treatments and why she felt the other option would be better for my skin. I also wasn't given any post-treatment instructions. Before leaving, I had to ask if there were any restrictions or aftercare recommendations. I was simply told I could continue using my skincare as usual. The only other question I was asked was whether I had sunscreen. I mentioned I had some at home, and she did offer and apply sunscreen before I left, which I appreciated. However, after any laser treatment, I expected at least a brief overview of aftercare--things like avoiding sun exposure, heat, strenuous exercise, active skincare ingredients (retinoids and exfoliating acids), and what to expect over the next several days. Overall, the office itself was nice, the front desk staff was welcoming, the Groupon pricing was excellent, and the treatment was comfortable. My experience would have been much better with more patient education and communication. I'm looking forward to seeing my results over the next few weeks, and if they're good, I would definitely consider returning.
