He was really honest with me offered to buy the alternator and install it for me or have me buy it so that I can get the lifetime warranty and I never have to buy an alternator again. I didn't even know that was a thing. It's great since now if my alternator ever breaks again I can get a new one from O'Reilly at no extra cost and just pay Bryan for the install fee which was really reasonable. I have never had a mechanic offer me that option and I've replaced my alternator twice. He could have easily upsold me on the alternator and install but he actually looked out for me and what would be best for me and save me money long term. I really appreciated that. I will definitely be a returning customer and I would definitely recommend this auto repair shop.

Story time It was a Saturday night out celebrating a friend's birthday. I'm on the 210 West heading back home when tragedy struck. Saving the details of what happened, I can tell you that I was definitely planning on starving myself a few days so I can pay up at a dealership but I desperately took the chance to ask around this time. Out of the 5 shops I inquired, SGV Automotive was the only ones who shown genuine interest and care. David checked up on me to see if I was okay and we then scheduled for an appointment and luckily they were extremely flexible with my scheduling for a quick diagnosis and scheduled a timeline for expectations. I show up the very next day. Two gentleman comes up to me and immediately gets to work with diagnosing and communicating with me. I've never seen such transparency. From past experiences my expectation was: give the key, sit in a waiting room for an hour, debate about buying a snack, wait another hour for them to get started, then thrown with paperwork before knowing what even was the diagnosis. Current experience: communication, care, collaboration, education, reassurance, any most importantly transparency. They helped get me to a rental place and picked me up as well. The carbon tips look insane, welds are clean, no rattles, and they made sure everything cleared the diffuser correctly. IT ONLY TOOK 30 MINUTES!
