I generally don't review anything other than food places on yelp but our recent experiences have been a nightmare. This used to be our go-to spot for anything car related but unfortunately they seriously dropped the ball on our last 2 visits. We went for a synthetic oil change ($90) which was relatively standard but BOTH times (1 year apart) they overfilled the tank which caused the repair light to go off a few hours later when we got home. On our most recent visit we ended up driving back 2 additional times for them to finally fix it. The first time we went back, the guy just reset our oil sensor and dismissed us when we asked him to just drain some out. His solution fixed the problem for approximately 1 hour before the light turned on again after we left. My dad was a mechanic for over 30 years. I am aware of most issues with vehicles however didn't learn how to fix them. I normally go to mechanics acting dumb to see how treat customers and T&M is the real deal They do not push other stuff on you to fix them and if you don't really need the repair yet they will tell you that you don't. I've gone here multiple times or a number of issues (253k mile car) and they fixed my problems and the ones they fixed stayed fixed. They do recommend some possible issues that can arise later on in the future but more than happy if you decline the repair. I was introduced to this place by my coworker Mandy who has frequented this auto repair shop for many years already whenever she need an oil change or had car issues, so I decided to give it a try and I've been coming back ever since! During my previous visits I have had my car oil changed, radiator replaced because of a crack, front and rear brakes changed. This time I was back for car oil change and inquires about my air conditioning not being cold (thought the A/C needed to be charged, but it wasn't). I dropped off my car the previous night after work and was able to pick up up the next day after work which was more convenient for me. Tony called me mid-day and informed me that the drive belt would need to change, since I've had repairs preformed through the auto repair shop before I went ahead and gave him the green light to have the repairs done. He told me that after the belts were changed he would check to see if the A/C needed to be changed. When I arrived to pick up my car, he was busy with another customer. He saw me walk up to the shop and told me he would be right with me after the talked to the current customer. They were speaking in mandarin, I understood most of the conversation but didn't bother to listen in detail. As Tony finished up with the current customer he came over to me and told me he will pull the car around to have to A/C pressure checked. I spoke to him mostly in English, since I'm not too familiar with car terminology in Mandarin. He preformed the A/C check and informed me that it doesn't need to be charged, but also told me that in the future it may need to be replaced if the pressure falls below a certain gauge. That was informative to know. I was happy that the air condition is now cold since the Summer heat is hitting us harder this year, can't be leaving my passengers hot! Thanks Tony!
