This place is a legit professional exhaust shop. I searched around based on reviews and past experiences with other muffler shop. Some places slap stuff on and send you out. It will work, but not always be the best. This shop takes pride in the work they do. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Owner is friendly and personable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I even chatted him up regarding welding, and he openly took the time to teach/show me some things to try as practice to learn better welding.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was not even related my my job!! I consider my job pretty simple... for my skill level (shade tree mechanic). I did not want to deal with it in my driveway. So I needed a shop that I would trust to do it as I would do it. I would take my time and get it right. No Wham,Bamm thank you mamm stuff. Here is an example of the little details you want in a professional shop. When putting on the clamps for the exhaust tips the owner (Sorry, I forgot your name, my bad) rotated the clamps in such a way that they would never be noticeable (clamp bolts) from the rear. This car is low and it probably would not have mattered but I know from experience from other shops that they would have just slapped the clamps on. Would have it worked? Yes. "Professional detail" no. The details matter and that is how you know you are dealing with someone that cares about the service they provide you. My job was a Corsa cat back exhaust on a 2024 Ford Mustang GT. The owner knew exactly what he was doing. Not like some other shops where it just seems like the person is guessing half the time. I work on my own project cars. So I have a certain skill level and sometimes I am that person that is guessing on how to do something. This shop was none of that. Professional and knowledgeable all the way. I will be letting everyone I know about the shop for their exhaust needs. You get what you pay for. The prices at this shop are fair, competitive and totally reasonable. Seriously I felt like I got a bargain just based on how professional the shop was. Side note- The owner has legit welding skills too. I saw examples. I would not hesitate for him to weld anything I needed done. NOT RELATED TO THIS SHOP AT ALL... Just a personal rant about some Yelp reviewers... Again NOT RELATED to this shop or any reviews of this shop...My two cents on Yelp reviews overall where people say they felt over-charged or they know they can get something cheaper. Look, you are paying for someone's skill and overhead (of the business). Stop thinking it is okay to scr3w skilled professionals of their labor because you think it SHOULD cost less. Seems you do not have the skills or understand the knowledge need to do skilled jobs you want someone to preform for you. First off just remember EVERYTHING is more expensive now. Then there is a big difference between doing a job correctly and doing a hack job that will be "good enough'. If you are one of those "good enough" shoppers, then stop leaving bad reviews all over Yelp for business that are actually trying to give you a professional and correct service. Owner even waited for me to come back to ask if i was cool with cutting the bumper a small bit to make the exhaust tip fit (4.5 inch) and was ready to make changes if needed. Decent shop if you need something easy done. But if you need more complex work done, I recommend mikes muffler in El Monte. They have much better skills and equipment. Long story short, I wasted money by coming here. Ended up having mikes muffler redo everything right and the way I wanted. I regret going here(3x to get it "fixed"). Went in for a full exhaust setup and was charged $1200 instead of the $950 quoted. He said it was going to take 5-6 hours but closer to 9. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He told me there was availability. Seems like it's more of a first come first serve.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I sent a pic of how I want the setup to be and he did his own thing and couldn't replicate it. Went in the second time to get it fixed cause it was hanging too low where it totally unbolted, got a CEL light. Said he was going to give me $50 for the issue but never did. We HIGHLY recommend this place! I showed up 30 minutes before opening and Daniel arrived shortly after I did. He got right to it. I had a flow master outlaw kit for my 2024 Ram installed. Was supposed to be a fairly easy install from what the instructions said. Of course it was Not! Our truck has a belltech lowering kit and the exhaust kit didn't come with instructions for that being the case. The clearance was not enough to get the new bigger pipes through the original route. Daniel made the necessary modifications to run it through and come out from the back of the truck in the same position on both sides. Prices are REALLY good. He doesn't try to get rich off of 1 job. He quoted me for what was supposed to be an hour install (with no welding or custom work included) that turned into a 5 1/2 hour job with customized work a ridiculous low price! Still only charged me $80 for the additional time and work. We are very meticulous with our vehicles. Don't let just anyone work on it. This is a place we will be going to for any exhaust work that we or any family member may need in the future. GREAT RESULTS As far as the bad review someone gave him for being rude and damaging their exhaust.... I personally doubt Daniel was rude. People get rude confused with annoyed! If you're trying to have free work done to something that had nothing to do with the work done there what else do you expect?? He checked his work without charging this guy anything and found no errors to the install. This guy wants him to get in a car at high speeds to hear a whistling sound! Came in on a Saturday with no advance notice to have a Magnaflow muffler put on my 3rd gen 4Runner. The guys were friendly, very accommodating and did a great job. I was in and out in less than 40 min. I wanted to keep my stock muffler so they got a box to protect my carpet and put it in the back of my truck for me and secured the muffler so it didn't slide around. I wanted nice welds for my rare RSR exmag and after searching on yelp I decided to come to DMC. Very glad I came here. Unlike other muffler shops where they will mandrel bend the pipe to fit, DMC cut individual piping to piece it up for a smooth transition. Tac welded the pipe into place and removed the exhaust to finish off the welding on the table. I will continue coming back for future exhaust work and will recommend friends too. read more

I can't say enough great things about this shop. I scheduled a day with Danny to bring my 2015 BMW 535i to get a custom 3.5" mandrel bent exhaust put in. From the time I arrived at the shop, Danny immediately got my car onto the lift. Shortly after, I met Rocky who was the main fabricator. I told him exactly what I wanted and he did some calculations and worked out the pricing and the labor entailed. When I say you get what you pay for, you definitely get what you pay for at DMC! Which is QUALITY! If you want cheap work, you will get cheap quality. Which is not the case over at DMC. I also expressed to both Danny and Rocky that this day was the only day I had off. I asked and if at anyway possible they could get the job done in a day. Both Danny and Rocky told me absolutely without question. Note that the shop closes at 5pm and they both stayed over way past just to make sure the car was done properly. Rocky was meticulous with how he mocked up and tacked the piping. If something was off, the tack weld was grinded off and re-done till it was correct. When everything was done the entire exhaust system was removed and welded together off the car to ensure a proper clean weld all around with zero leaks! Not very many shops will go that extra mile and remove the exhaust piping and weld it off the car. Most will weld everything on the car and normally screw up the weld on top of the piping, causing exhaust leaks. I couldn't be anymore happy and satisfied with the quality of work that was done, not to mention the great customer service. I highly recommend anyone looking to get a custom exhaust made to definitely go to DMC! You will not be disappointed! read more

I was looking for a long term solution for my exhaust rattle coming from the tips of my aftermarket catback. I had tried a clamp and JB Weld, but it was only a short-term solution. I called DMC for a consultation and they told me I could come by. I showed up and told them what was going on, and they helped me out immediately to take a look at it on the lift. They reviewed that my catback was stainless steel and the tips were titanium and they don't weld together. They also gave me advice for a long term solution.
