    Almond cookie

Ok ok I get why less ppl go here, it's no frills but the cookies are good. The street is packed with sceney places and st moritz is clearly overlooked. But prices are good and people are kind and this cookie rocked my whole day!!! Give them a try!

a box of cupcakes with frosting

St Moritz used to be one the best bakeries in Greenwich. I am assuming it has sold to new owners from the original. I ordered an assortment of cupcakes They tasted terrible -very disappointing The frosting is clearly made with shortening, not butter, and has an unpleasant after taste. This is not the St. Moritz Bakery I remember. The attendant was very rude and the cupcakes stuffed into boxes so they became unpresentable. I will not be going back. Save yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere on the avenue.

    Chocolate mousse

Had heard great reviews of this bakery from many years ago and had to put it to the test today!! The chocolate mousse cake was said to be the best ever and I'm always up for a good chocolate mousse... The Yelp reviews I had read warned me about limited parking so when I found a parking spot I had to take it right away... Only I was a five minute walk from the bakery and there were soooo many spots much closer. So don't worry about parking. The bakery is small and cute, not much on the menu other than the baked goods so if you're looking for a coffee hit the Starbucks on your way in. The staff were nice and friendly getting ready to close for the day. Took the mousse to go so I could eat at home with a cup of tea and friends. We all shared a spoon and it was pretty good, not the best ever and I probably won't go out of my way to get it again. Don't get me wrong it was good enough to satisfy a chocolate mousse craving! Enjoy!!!

If your ever in the Greenwich area of Connecticut in the future and you have a thing for sweets you owe it to yourself to stop by the St. Moritz Pastry Shop. Located on Greenwich Ave a few steps away from the 'Thataway Cafe' (see my review). The best thing about the St. Moritz, for me and my wife anyway, are their 'Rainbow Cookies'. We travel from the Bronx, NY to Greenwich, CT to get their cookies! Unlike other bakeries and pastry shop I have frequented in the past the Rainbow Cookies at the St. Moritz are always moist and packed with flavor (I swear you can taste the fresh raspberry in the cookie!). But all the other treats at the St. Moritz are equally as delicious! The toughest thing you'll find to do when your at the St. Moritz Pastry Shop is deciding what to choose from!

My wife and I used to obsessed with the original SoHo location, so when we heard maman was opening…read moreon Greenwich Ave, we were literally some of the first people through the door. The space itself is absolutely stunning and so photogenic. They nailed the rustic, southern French country-style vibe--reclaimed wood, fresh flowers on every single table, and tons of natural light. It truly feels like a warm, cozy "home away from home," which I know is exactly what the founders (a husband-and-wife duo) were aiming for to honor their mothers' kitchens. The food here is consistently great, whether you're sitting down or grabbing take-out. My absolute go-to is the Katie Chicken sandwich. It's herb-roasted chicken, basil aioli, roasted red peppers, arugula, and roasted tomato. You can get it on ciabatta or a baguette, but do yourself a favor and opt for the baguette. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Honestly, any pastry you grab here is going to be amazing. I also love that they offer a few vegan options--the vegan raspberry bar is so good I end up eating one almost every single day. Pair whatever you get with an espresso drink; they serve them in these quintessential blue and white china cups that make you feel like you're sitting in a bistro in the French countryside. A quick tip on parking: There's metered parking on Greenwich Ave (9am-5pm, Mon-Sat) or a public lot right behind the CVS across the street. Definitely download the ParkMobile app and stay on top of your time, because parking enforcement is highly active around here!

Absolutely love this place!…read more I've been to a lot of their locations and this is one of my favorite ones. This Maman is spacious and has plenty of seating. I love their drinks, snacks and food here. They also have an array of mugs, clothes, bags and coffee for purchase. I need to come back and get more of their merch. It's all so cute. I had an oat milk latte, piña colada overnight oats and a cookie. Everything was delicious. I've come here for breakfast and lunch too. I will definitely stop back in to try more of their food options. I'm so glad this location opened. I can't wait for their next location to open too!
