My first time in this restaurant, and it was well worth the experience. I'm sure when all five floors are open in the warmer months it's going to be an even better time to be had. The bartender, Pochohantas made me a drink called "lavender Dream" and it was worth having 2, the crab cakes are wonderful, and the lamb chops were devine and well seasoned. I sat at the bar and ordered a smoked strawberry Hennessey sidecar. The smoked flavor made me feel like I was eating food. It wasn't for me. A different bartender offered to remake it without the smoked flavor and she made it way too sweet. I could not drink it. I was looking at the bar and they had no good wines even though I knew that there were wines near the door when you first come in. There were only cheap wines like Sutter homes at the bar. As I watched people's food get brought to the table, none of it looked good. I saw a steak that did not look good. It made me say that I would never want to eat at this establishment. The ambience was very nice for a date night, but I hope that they have something there that tastes good. Lastly, ladies, imagine trying to undo your clothing, squat down to use the restroom, wipe yourself and wash your hands while holding your purse. I tried to nicely let the manager know that he should get a hook put into the one restroom, to hold ladies' purses while they use the restroom. He acted like I was saying something wrong to him or hating on him. Any woman would agree that it's hard to use the restroom with your purse in your possession. Any BUSINESS with a public restroom should have a hook for this reason. He didn't give a heck about what I was saying. My friend and I were both celebrating our b-days and decided to try this place. They are fairly new and black owned so we wanted to support. We went on 12/3/25 on a very cold and snowy day. We walk inside to be greeted by a young man who was friendly and got the elevator for us and assured us we would enjoy ourselves. We took the elevator up to the restaurant level and was wowed when we got to our floor. It's absolutely beautiful there. Decor is posh and beautiful lighting. Chairs are the type of royal looking high back chairs that people rent for prom which is a classy touch. We were seated by the window and given menus by our friendly waitress. Now, it's time for me to break down this review in categories. Decor - 5 stars. There are two levels and it's a rooftop restaurant Customer Service - 5 stars Food - 4 stars Menus - 1 star (they were dirty) Heating - 2.5 stars (will explain below) Ambiance - 5 stars When we were given our menus, we were shocked as both of our menus had food and liquid debris on it. I suggest paper menus to eliminate that as we were a bit disgusted by it. This is a great place to take a date to impress. They even have a table where there is a double chair to fit two people for an intimate date. The windows look really nice as you can see out but there aren't any blinds or covering to keep that area warm so because it was such a cold day, we were cold by the window. For drinks, I had the lemondrop martini which was good. They gave us complimentary breaksticks that were yummy. For the meal, I had the fall off the bone (no exaggeration) pot roast which was the biggest portion I have ever had. It was good but I didn't like the fact that they put gravy on everything. My mashed potatoes had gravy all over it. Ask the patron if they would like gravy on everything or as a side. My friend had the crab cakes and a salad and she enjoyed them both. They make each dish beautifully presented which we loved. The drinks were good and our attentive female server offered us birthday shots. At first we refused but then we agreed and so glad we did. The shots were a mix so it wasn't as strong. They were delicious and we asked for another round so highly recommend you try those. We didn't get to see what the rooftop looks like so can't comment on that. I would love to see this kind of restaurant in downtown Chicago where there are beautiful views to see. Dolton is okay but there are not scenic views in or around there in our opinion. We hope this business continues to thrive - great concept they have. I was so looking forward to going to St. Patrick's place inside the ambience is nice. I read before I got there about the very strict dress code. When I got there, I was very shocked to see that they did not follow the dress code they let in people with gym shoes, jogging suits, everything that they said that they would not, they did. The waiters and waitresses were very nice, but their attire was sloppy they needed to be groomed, and might I add it was a 80° weather outside and in the restaurant it felt like I was outside. It was extremely hot even the waiters and waitresses stood by the tables fanning themselves while taking orders with a menu! The food was delicious, but I will never return. read more

This is a breathtaking restaurant in terms of decor and design. It's beautiful visually. However, as a new restaurant I believe there are some kinks to work out. When me and my guests walked in, we were told they weren't taking any walk-ins and we needed a reservation. We were able to make a reservation on the spot online, but once we were seated there seemed to be some more than enough space. From the way we were spoken to upon arrival to our server - there is room for improvement with customer service. The food, on the other hand, is outstanding. Although my guests and I only had an appetizer, drinks and dessert- it was all so good. And everything we saw other customers having looked amazing as well. The cheesy bread was perfection. The cheesecake was my star of the show. There was a discrepancy with me being overcharged for the cheesecake and when I told the server, she wasn't the most pleasant regarding the issue. An amazing roof top experience tonight!!!! The service, food and entire experience was amazing! What an incredibly beautiful place--Experience St. Patrick's! The cocktails were amazing. Absolutely Not ! We arrived at 1215 for our rooftop reservation. There was one other party and us. We were seated greeted given menus and drinks order placed. That was the positives! The bad ,we only ordered apps,some jerk wings,a ceasear salad plus salmon and crab bites. The food wait time was one hour and thirty mins. This was utterly ridiculous! I asked for the manager who attitude was very off putting and passive aggressive! Nikki is her name, I told her the issues,she proceeded to me ,what I wanted to do about it ! Really lady, how about prompt service, apologize, take the salad off the bill. The salad was also missing all the toppings just lettuce sause and fish ! So I need to tell Nikki how to problem solve because I wasn't on the clock ! So unprofessional she questioned what time we arrived,she saw us walk in ! Just excuses ! First off I want to patronize Black owned businesses every chance I get. However, there are some definite improvements needed. We were so excited to visit this restaurant because we had heard rave reviews. We however did not have a wonderful experience. Strike 1: the website says there is a dress code. No athletic wear or gym shoes etc. as we enter I see two people right away in gym shoes and baseball caps. Strike 2: the food - we were celebrating my father's birthday and he said the lamb chops were not tender. The only thing we really enjoyed was the spinach dip. There's a no substitution on sides even though they cost the same price. Strike 3: the complimentary cheesecake for birthdays ran out instead of offering him something else we were basically told oh well we do not have anything for you without additional charges. So the birthday display the other patron got with the sparklers and cheesecake was not given to him. Nothing was given to him. I was so disappointed. I should have asked to speak to the manager but we left quietly. Also, the restaurant services too many people to only have two restrooms. Before I forget, our hostess was phenomenal. My group and I had an amazing experience Thursday evening at St Patrick's restaurant. The staff, food, drinks, other patrons and ambiance were fabulous. We were celebrating our 2025 Christmas together. Laughing with gifts. There were a few large parties but the staff did not skip a beat providing exceptional attention. We had a lengthy conversation with one of the owners. She was very friendly, professional and took time to answer questions for us. This was my first time dining at St. Patrick's but not my last. I booked a private surprise birthday dinner for 17 guests, we ended up having maybe 20. But the restaurant was accommodating the entire time and assisted in the surprise celebration. Im honestly confused as to whether or not they're fully opened yet, but they did have plenty other patrons dining while we were present. There were some hiccups, as to be expected for a new restaurant with a large party. I tasted the beef short ribscand ribeye steak and it was 5 stars for me. The place is beautiful. From the bar to the bathroom it's amazing. The servers, managers, hosts were all nice and went above and beyond to assist. They have some area for improvement, but I'm sure they'll get there. To begin, this was my wife's birthday dinner, and this place was suggested by her for us to try. We traveled more than 20 miles away to dine. The decor was aesthetically appealing. Textures and colors consistent with a trendy upscale lounge. Plenty of large windows provided a clear view overlooking the area and depending on where you're sitting and the time of day, you may catch a sunset. Located on the second floor of what looked to be a converted office building, we were confused upon entry. There were two guys standing in the smallest foyer, along with other patrons, waiting for the elevator. Unknown to us, there is a stairwell to our immediate left, that's hidden by a mural that covers the walls of the foyer. My wife was almost hit by the door as people were exiting. We're still waiting for the elevator, but now there are about 6 people in this small foyer. This building had 5 floors. The elevator attendant stopped on the second floor and announced Steakhouse. We were confused but got off the elevator. We were greeted, and our reservation was acknowledged immediately. We were seated at a high-top table. Not my first choice, but I didn't mind. The waitress was friendly and courteous, but she didn't really offer any suggestions, and she didn't have any knowledge, particularly about the different types of whiskey they offered for the Old Fashioned I was eyeing on the drink menu. I opted for water only. My wife ordered a drink, but I don't remember what. Her drink came faster than the food, but keep in mind, we were seated directly in front of the bar. Our waitress gave us about 15 minutes before she came back to take our food order. The wife ordered salmon with shrimp pasta. I ordered the lamb chops. We also ordered a garlic bread appetizer. Then we proceeded to wait an hour for our order to come out. The wait was so long that our waitress stopped to tell us our food was next in the queue. A quick side note: she brought me a steak knife and a small container of steak sauce for the lamb chops. I knew then something was off. After about 45 minutes, the appetizer finally hit the table. Not bad, but it was bread with cheese baked on it. This would be hard to mess up unless you burned it. At this point, we were getting impatient on top of getting hungrier. About 20 minutes later, we received our entrees. Immediately, my lamb chops were covered in gravy......I HATE GRAVY........Our waitress never mentioned gravy during ordering, and for the life of me, I couldn't understand why she would bring me a steak knife and steak sauce for the lamb chops. Visually, they were not appealing. The lamb chops were undercooked. I ordered medium well and seared. Spinach and garlic mashed potatoes were plated under the lamb chops, the bitter spinach being placed directly on top of the mashed potatoes. This gave the potatoes a terrible bitter taste. The salmon was overcooked and dry. The pasta was bland, and the shrimp had the tail on. Did I mention the food was cold and without flavor? Our waitress asked if we wanted to go boxes, and we said no. I think she thought we were still working, but we were done. I got her attention and asked for the check. She surprisingly asked if we wanted to go boxes again because there was so much uneaten food on the table. We both gave an emphatic no in unison. She brought the device for contactless payment and left it on the table. I paid and tipped, but I had to ask for a receipt because the device didn't itemize the bills or show exactly what we were being charged for. She returned with the receipt, and she charged us an 18% gratuity on a party of 2. We gave it a try, but the food simply wasn't good. I went for New Year Eve. We get there for our reservation just to hear that the elevator is not working and we are going to the 5th floor!!!!! Good morning: I paid $360.00 for a valentine package, only to be herded in like cattle. We were sat in very tight quarters (it's kinda like they were trying to fit as many people in this one room as they could. Since it was a pre ordered and we had already made our food choice earlier in the week, we assumed that everything was squared away. I couldn't have been more wrong. After waiting an hour or so after everyone at our cramped little table had eaten I was told that they were making more salmon and that mine would be out in 10 minutes. Another hour goes by and they finally bring me a dinner on a salad plate with the asparagus over lapping the plate and touching the table. When I asked to see the manager I asked him would he pay $360.00 for this? He said "no, but I've been got before." I replied, " I understand, but now I have been too." He offered another plate, and more plates came out in the same condition another 40-45 minutes later. We were seated in what was supposed to be a VIP area only to look up to the floor above us in the balcony like area where people were seated at single chairs and tables and not cramped in like sardines. For this $360.00 experience the "VIP" patrons were given plastic flatware, plates and cups. After being served (2) two cookies on yet another plastic plate and being promised by two of the management staff that "it would be made right," I was never served the salmon that I pre-paid for, and we left. Funny thing about being served with plastic plates is this to me: Since the even was pre-order, then the head count was known in advance. How do you not buy enough plastic plates?‍ Unfortunately we'll never patronize this business again, and in my opinion there were many people there that felt the same. They say "you get what you pay for." In this instance I did not. What I did get was: A) Herded like cattle to an uncomfortable seating area. B) Made to wait for food that never came. C) Paid for the worst service I think I've ever gotten anywhere. I've had better service at "u pull it" junk yard. D) A management staff member named Tyrone telling me that "he's been gotten before," so I guess that was in some way telling me that I should just "suck it up, and drive on." Well Tyrone, that isn't the way the ball bounces. In my opinion, this seems to be at very least a case of "bait and switch," or at the high end, "theft by deception." One of our table mates mentioned that one of the staff members made him pay $60.00 to park in a handicap parking space that he had a placard for which affords him the legal right to the parking space without paying for it, as they were using the handicap parking spaces for "VIP." VIP in their eyes stands for very important persons, while in my opinion VIP should stand for "Very Injured Persons" as the man clearly had a limp and was using a cane. read more

Our waitress I believe her name was Desirae was the sweetest waitress I've ever met. Since we were first time visitors we asked her if she could give us a tour and she did. Ok so for the drinks. I asked her opinion on a good mocktail and she recommended the virgin Mojito and I must say it was delicious. For dinner I had the Garlic Butter Salmon which comes over a dab of spinach so order the Garlic mashed potatoes as well. The salmon was delicious but that garlic butter is so good that I asked for a side of it. My date had the lamb chops which were also delicious. This restaurant was inspired by the TV show power. The cocktail menu is named after several characters in the TV series. The ambience is simply amazing from the decor to the large window openings for a beautiful nighttime viewing. This establishment has six floors the area I visit was on the second floor, where the restaurant and bar area is, you check in with the lovely host, (Jabrie) on the day I went, lovely personality by the way , you can either seated at the bar or at a table. The ambience is absolutely amazing. I ordered the prime rib with asparagus, and my daughter ordered a beef short rib with cream potatoes. We shared each other food, the food was cooked to perfection even the complementary bread that was brought out by a young man named Kenneth who was amazingly Pleasant, there were two bartenders, Rey and and the lovely and beautiful young lady name Shay, but only one could serve as due to the side we were sitting on, so we was blessed with Rey. Believe me when I tell you he made my experience the most magnificent experience ever at any restaurant I've ever patronized, we talked, we laughed, we almost became family. He made our drinks so well I thought I was sitting at a five-star resort Beach. The drinks and food was extraordinary, so great we called our friends to come join us. Rey explain all the new adventures that would be coming to this place, including a spa on the fourth floor. Rey was so kind to give us a tour of the sixth floor rooftop were you can eat drink and even smoke A CIGAR i was told. Oh the times I'm going to have here. The service was top-tier. I failed to mention that this restaurant is only a month into business which is called their soft opening and their grand opening will be happening in June 2025. So if this is just the soft opening, imagine what it is going to be like in June and there after, I can't wait! The food, the service the ambience all score a 10 in my book. They need some work! There's no way I would go back there, especially on a Saturday. The aesthetic is beautiful, and the DJ (Sundance) was jumping. I guess she better be seeing we were charged $10 per person for the DJ. We arrived as soon they opened at 11 am. Let me tell you, they are NOT organized. It took almost an hour to get our drinks and another hour and a half to get a simple order of shrimp and grits that tasted like it was sitting for a while. I try to support black business, but baby, this ain't it. And let me add that even though we arrived when they opened and were setting up for brunch (which they shouldn't be. Why are you open at 11 and brunch starts at noon, but no one knew that until they replied to my Google review?!) I ordered off the regular menu and not the buffet brunch. The location has easy access to the highway and parking is plentiful. The staff was excellent, polite, very attentive, and helpful. The decor is nice, its going for upscale and warm. The large windows and chandeliers really were the stand out feature for me. Upon entry to the building there is an elevator with doorman. My friend and I visited the steak house and the rooftop. Steakhouse, we were greeted by multiple friendly staff. We had an early dinner reservations and we're seated immediately. The waiting area had what looked like a tasting wine bar, benches and flower wall. The dining room is 2 stories. It appeared that the kitchen was located on the upper level as well as the dj and additional tables. The food: We ordered the crab cakes, Lamb Chops with mashed potaties & spinach, the Filet with loaded mash and bone-in ribs eye. We started with the bread service which was warm bread sticks drizzled with butter, garlic, and an herb. It was tasty but similar to what you would make at home. Prior to the arrival of the crab cakes our waitress brought us a cup of hot sauce which gave me apprehension of receiving the cakes. I was pleasantly surprised when the plate arrived to the table. There were 2 generously sized cakes with a smear of creamy crab cake sauce and what looked like a balsamic drizzle? The plate was beautiful and the cakes where really good with a crispy exterior and moist interior. Our plates came next. Upon arrival our waitress requested that those with steak cut it to check the temp. The friend with the filet sent hers back because it was too close to well done versus medium. While my lamb chops were past medium they were still really good. The lamb chops and sauce on them was highly seasoned which I really enjoyed. Upon return I would probably ask for extra sauce to add over the potatoes. Overall we enjoyed our meals and the experience. Afterwards we went up to the roof which was really cute and I could see returning when the weather is better for cocktails (and hopefully crab cakes). Went here last night with my guy and the service was horrible. The server only came to take our order, never offered to give us water, nor did she come check on us throughout the visit. We ordered the Oysters Rockefeller, and they were watery and fishy with no cheese whatsoever. We also ordered the salmon and shrimp pasta that, after an hour and a half, had never came. We ended up cancelling the main course. So, for 2 drinks that were from $13-$15 and the oysters, the cost was $90! They had a special through the month of January where the entire menu, outside of steaks, was 50% off. We met my friend and her husband there and since only they had a reservation and we did not, the discount wasn't honored. The owner and server were ghetto and rude. While the ambiance was beautiful, the energy and professionalism were unacceptable. I had big plans for this place, including thinking about celebrating my birthday there. When we tried to change the drink our server informed us that all alcohol is final sale and we did not see this displayed on the menu. Lyric the bartender was amazing and provided exceptional drinks. We didn't get a chance to visit the rooftop but I am sure it's nice. The restaurant was nice and the decor was beautiful. The short ribs were fall off the bone good. The manager Nicole needs to work on being more accommodating to guess. Her demeanor was a tad bit standoffish . My husband and I celebrated our 14th year wedding anniversary at St. Patrick's. It was a wonderful experience for us. After placing the reservation is when my husband read a bad review. But we decided to try anyway, and were not disappointed. Just getting on the elevator was an experience. An actual person was inside the elevator waiting for us to take us to the 2nd level. The second level is where the restaurant is. The facility has 6 beautiful levels, we were given a tour of the rooftop. Again beautiful! Once the elevator door opened to the restaurant, it was just beautiful. The ambiance, the atmosphere, the music was just great! Once seated we ordered appetizers and drinks. The appetizers we had were chicken and vegetable pot stickers, avocado and cauliflower bites. They were pretty good! Dinner for me was the steak and cheese Philly sandwich. It was pretty good! My husband enjoyed the salmon burger. I also tried 2 of the speciality drinks, was not even watered down. Just the right amount of alcohol! We enjoyed karaoke as we dined. I had a awesome time, we will be going back for the dinner menu. Which is only offered Thursday thru Sunday. We visited on a Tuesday evening which was their lunch menu. First let's start with the positive. Nice location, good parking, beautiful decor. Personally I think they are trying too hard to force the experience that they want you to have vs letting the experience just flow. Staff is friendly but management is too controlling and nosey. I'm at the bar with my woman and when my girl went to stand up and give me a hug some lady says to us and I quote, "We don't do that in here." Now miserable lady I'm sorry that you don't have a man in your life that adores you, but my lady and I are affectionate. Blame your amazing bartenders that got us nice and tipsy.
