What struck me most when we first walked in were the "holy goalie" statues--all sorts of plaster and resin saints standing in arches. Every time I've been in, I've found lots of great items at low prices, compared to what they would go for online or in bigger cities. I especially like mid-century kitchen items, glassware, and decor, which I've always found plenty of. The owner and all of the staff that I've every met are friendly and helpful. The question is never IF you'll find something, but how you'll decide between the many options. Because you WILL find what you're seeking and much more. The Bookmark also has one of the BEST curated classics sections anywhere. There are cards and gifts, but these items don't overwhelm the space - as we have seen happen in the bigger chain stores. But what also sets this shop apart is the incredible staff. Owner Christine has created a team of friendly, professional people that make an already great place even better.
