I am writing to express my concern about the issue of bullying and favoritism at Santa Fe Christian School. My daughter, who is now in third grade, attended your Christian preschool in the past, where she was bullied by her classmates. She was embarrassed to tell us about it, but we later found out about the incidents. When my daughter was attending an afterschool daycare program, she was pushed by someone, and she push back in self-defense. Unfortunately, the teacher saw her punch the person, and my daughter was the one who got in trouble. This incident had a negative impact on her life, and she is still dealing with the consequences of it today. Due to the fear of being bullied again and the possibility of the school blaming her, my daughter has been an independent study since Covid. This is a problem that we are still dealing with to this day because the school did not do its part. We found that there was a great deal of favoritism at the private Christian school she was attending, and my daughter, as a person of color, was made to feel like a second-class citizen. As a parent, I am deeply concerned about my daughter's safety and well-being at school. No child should have to go through bullying or feel like they are being treated unfairly. I urge you to take this matter seriously and take immediate action to stop the bullying and address issues of favoritism at your school. I would appreciate it if you could provide me with an update on the actions taken to address this issue. I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Jennifer Smith this is the email that I am writing to Scam. Please be aware I can have such a negative impact on your child's life.

Everything was advised before enrolling him into the school. So that there wouldn't be any surprises. When we showed up she literally told us to go to our school district and seek help there and didn't give us any alternatives or any plans from her part to help him. We felt neglected from her part, she signed up to be a school educator and didn't go along with that purpose to TEACH. After having a second meeting we ended up giving it another try, things just weren't going good at all. I will message her to let her know when we were running late we decided to make the commitment even though we didn't live 5/10 minutes away we lived almost 30 minutes away and due to traffic we will ge there late and we take full responsibility for it. I will do my part and message the teacher to advise we were arriving late, always ignore them. I will message her when my son will miss school always ignore them. Everything from her part was ignored I am very upset because everybody else was great with us and made us feel welcomed since we were the new family. I will say this if teachers want to pick and choose who they want in their class they should do some type of assessments to see if they are up to level. Since it looks like she wanted them all to be in the same level/ structure even though he started in the middle of the year. Some kids just need a little more time and she didn't give my son that opportunity. Kudos to principal Dr.Frank and after school teacher Mrs. Garcia they were great.

The teacher would hold the students back past dismissal time, would not acknowledge the parents, would leave me talking, minimize my concerns, and set my child for failure. In one year that my daughter attended she did not learn to read or write. Unfortunately, we are not able to leave because the other schools had met their enrollment capacity. Now, my daughter is below grade level but is working hard at the new school with the support of her new teachers to catch up. The only thing we miss about this school is the spirituality. I tried countless times to address the concerns, I spent the year in countless meetings trying to come to an understanding for the teacher, Elena Haas's capacity to teach Kinder, age-inappropriate curriculum and anxiety my daughter had developed. My concerns were not addressed. Monsignor Lorenzo who is in charge of the school was not able to come to an agreement with the teacher and Principal to provide a simple parent meeting to discuss academic concerns. At other schools, Principals invite parents on a monthly basis to coffee with the principal to maintain communication and address concerns. But not at this school. This school is clean and does a good job spiritually but academically they are terrible. If you want to give your child a solid academic foundation, you should take them somewhere else. This school also is more interested in your money than in your child's academic career. Expect to donate and give money to the school every week. The school will not sponsor any event, although they charge higher tuition, higher service hours and higher annual tuition than other schools.

She said that he got in trouble the first time for asking for a ball back even though she denied to give it and he didn't say anything wrong but he got in trouble because she thought it was a good idea to get him in trouble and just say that he hit her. Then the second time my son had been screamed at TWICE and they were saying to take a seat because he was looking for a clean table. They then told him to sit down at a table full of trays and trash all over. They never cleaned his table so he asked for a new table and that lady said no so he asked another supervisor that was way more kind and so they moved. The first supervisor said that they weren't supposed to move even though they got permission and him and his friends got in trouble twice for no reason. And his teacher Mrs. Tanaka was really horrible because he didn't even want to go to school anymore because of the way she acted to him so she would always scream at him and he would never like it. These two shouldn't even be on this campus because of the way they both act but this school doesn't even care at all about what happens.
