Hear No Evil*See No Evil*Speak No Evil Hood said he planned on being there a long time, but he's apparently gone already, as so many before him. Could've seen that coming from a million miles away. By the way, Cornerstone had my first review taken down, as I now suspect many other critical reviews have been. Cornerstone has had some amazing people, Mr Harrison, Mr Puente, Mrs Puente (God rest her soul), Mr Hudspeth, Mr Sessions, Coach Navarrete, Mrs Ruvalcaba, and others, but the administration changes constantly! The big secret is, untouchable families, who do whatever they want, whenever they want, however they want; many are athletes and staff from the church and school. Shouldn't be that way, but we experienced it over & over. So, we left. Many others have left for the same reasons. A friend living near the school took their kids out because the administration wouldn't deal with the untouchables harassing their child who's on the spectrum. They told us 3 other families -on-their-street- left also. Cornerstone should be training up a righteous generation, but instead they're just coddling untouchables. Sad... Change must come from the top. We can only hope & pray.

He took my children out of my home while I was at work without my permission. He took Joselyn Wilson with him. My kids were at her home without my permission. My kids both later told me they didn't wanna go with her without my permission, but she cohersed them. I have tried to reach out to talk to the lead pastor but not able to get an appointment. The leaders in the youth side OVERSTEP AND DO NOT RESPECT BOUNDARIES. They brainwashed my kids. Eucharia is a leader there also who said God told her that my kids were in danger. They take their job with them everywhere. They go thinking that they are CPS. I had to call the police to get my kids back. And then they accuse me of being a negligent parent and the cases were dropped. I have gone to Church for 45 years grew up in a Christian home with parents that have been married for 57 years and I have never had a bad experience in a church until now. I am so scared that the church is going to take my kids again from me. Why are adults texting and messaging my kids and not talking to me first?!! it is so weird and bizarre and now we are scared to go back to church. This is not ok.

My husband has been a Sunday school teacher for as long as we've been attending. The same Bible story is taught 6 different ways and the kids go through the rotation. Often I hear that the kids are the ones that bring the parents to church after attending Sunday school here. This Easter the church had the egg catapult as a unique way for kids to collect Easter eggs. Hot dogs and roasted corn were served for free. Recently the church had Kite day/Sunday funday where there were food and activities for kids including alpacas. Every teacher he's had has been absolutely wonderful and communicates very well through the app, sharing activities and photos with us throughout the day. There is one child with a food allergy in the class and the director has been very careful with making sure no food comes into the school with those allergens (I was packing my son lunch for a little while before switching to their food program). They have special events around holidays for parents to come to class parties and participate. We just had a fun Easter "brunch" and egg hunt. It was so much fun to meet the other parents! I come to pick up my son earlier than most parents and have always been impressed by the care they show all the kids when parents aren't normally around. There's always enough teachers for the amount of kids in the class and they are miracle workers for actually getting the toddlers to take a nap at the same time! The kids get lots of outdoor play time on a wonderful playground. Babies go on walks and have a fenced in playground with age-appropriate toys. When the weather is bad, the kids get to play in the gym with fun indoor toys. We love the staff, the price, and the experience our child is getting here! Highly recommend St Matt's day school.

She is well-versed in how to manage a room full of toddlers and she makes sure that all of those kids knows that she loves them each and every time they leave for the day. My son went 3 days a week, and would've wanted to go every day if he could. He was never scared about going, and it felt like a good, comfortable environment for him. I loved that when there were times that I needed to pick him up late, because my youngest son was still sleeping, Mrs. Lori would let me pay a nominal fee for the extra time. The flexibility was such a blessing for our family! We needed to take advantage of it many times throughout the year! The amount of songs and things that the kids learn is staggering. And they know all of their songs and are willing to perform them in front of their parents! They work so hard on getting those kids ready for their big moments. The graduation ceremony was the cutest thing ever! If we weren't moving to Houston, I'd be sending my youngest there in a heartbeat. We highly recommend All Stars Academy!!!

It pains me to write this review since I, for a long time, believed this school was a blessing and had such a positive experience with it. But unfortunately I and many other parents have been made aware of spanking and other questionable behavior by the multiple teachers and owner. The owner will deny it but I find it hard to believe that it's not happening when I've heard so many children come forth with unprompted admission to being spanked or seeing spanking. I know on the surface it seems like a sweet 90's nostalgic daycare but I firmly believe that what once was a small loving daycare has gotten out of hand with ratios and the teachers can no longer handle it.
