Pricey. Selection is about average for a thrift store and the book/video section is the best stocked. Quite a few knick-knacks, mostly cheap junk. Dusty. Condition of some items is unacceptable at any price (i.e. broken). The staff is neither friendly nor unfriendly -- seems they didn't care if I ever came back. I saw a very expensive item that I wanted (it was way overpriced for a thrift store, for eBay, for any retail outlet) and it turned out it was 50% off due to a one-day sale. Not having the cash on me at the time (it was overpriced even at such a discount), I showed up the next morning when the doors opened and asked if the sale price could be honored. Like any good thrift store employee, she curtly refused. I understand sales must end, but someone asks to spend a considerable amount at your THRIFT store the moment the doors open after a sale and you won't allow it? I'll probably drop in again during another of their sales but at no other time would I bother. Has it dawned on these people that if prices were perhaps dropped a bit, more customers would appear? read more

though It was pretty well organized, the clothes were a bit hard to go through due to the weird layout of sections. The employees had no idea where anything was when I asked, though they may possibly be volunteers. It had alot of parking and a bike rack which was really nice, and even though the staff seemed a little confused, they were very friendly. So I went in here was just looking around, found something I liked decided to buy it, went to pay and the lady said oh wait let me check something she then took my items in the back and then came back out and then proceeded to tell me that the price was wrong. She went in the back and raised the prices. When I protested they all treated me like I was trying to rob them for $3-$5. Pathetic! This is shit donated and already overpriced. I will never visit this site even again after my awful experience. I arrived to donate roughly 40 nice, useful items loaded on a trailer. I was directed around the building into a dead-end, with no turn around. There was no alternative - I would have to detach the trailer to get out. Nice - not. There were several workers visible, but only one paid any attention to me. As someone arriving to DONATE items, do you think I could be greeted with a "thank you for donating" or maybe just a smile? No - first order of business was to pick through my items, making me feel like I was trying to unload junk on them that should go to the dump. We won't take this, won't take that. I will pass on this. Workers clearly visible stand around, watching the one worker and myself carry the items to their piles. At least one made no pretense that he even had anything else to do. Once all the "acceptable" items were unloaded do you think they could help me fold my cover tarp? Maybe help unhitch, turn or re-hitch my trailer? There were no other drop offs - there also was no help. Not even a closing thank-you. I have been to the Everett location and received MUCH better service. I will not buy or donate in Kenmore ever again. Will also discourage friends and family from doing so. Completely unprofessional and rude. read more

i must say one of my favorite shopping spots lately. it is a tad organized but ever since i found the section of sample sale snowboarding items i've been hooked. i've found volcom shirts, empire jackets(2)!!! and volcom snowboarding pants. all brand new. maybe an x thru the tag but they have so much new stuff here that i was able to get numerous sweet boarding outfits this season for close to nothing. lots of furniture and kitchen stuff as well but u gotta dig. doesn't hurt that best friend espresso is in the parking lot. purchase and a crotch shot with ur coffee in one stop. sold! read more

Giving this store 1 star is to nice if you ask me. I went there a couple weeks back and for the most part it is a very clean store very easy to shop. The problem I had was watching Im assuming was the manager giving one of his cashiers a very hard time for not doing her supervisor job correctly. This young woman was very friendly and very helpful . I dont believe a manager should handle his business with his employees in front of other staff or customers it very unprofessional. Today I went in to shop again I asked another cashier if the other lady was working and with a smug and giggle she says she don't work here no more. I will not go back to this store again unless it is under new management and new staff period!!! read more

This is a pretty decent thrift store overall. The prices are relatively low and they do daily specials.. like 50% off certain colors etc. They have a ton of kitchen stuff... not much in the sporting goods category, lots of womens clothes but not anything really great. Huge book and furniture selection too. It's good enough to be on my thrift store circuit! read more

My favorite thrift store ever- i've found costumes, clothes, and so many little treasures here. It does not get as much recognition as it should, at all. Prices are reasonable, and employees are helpful. There is so many amazing things to be found if you are willing to dig around. This place has a very narrow selection of clothing, and none that of which are well-labeled clothing. All of their clothing pieces are way too over-priced for their quality. This is not a great place for thrifing clothing, but I gotta admit, they have a great houseware selection. They have the best priced candles I've seen for thrift stores, and they have decent houseware. But I've experienced much better thrift stores. read more

I have an estate sale business and often need to donate items left over after a sale. My son took a truck load of stuff to this St. Vincent's in Kenmore and they refused it. I couldn't believe it. The worker said "If it doesn't sell at an estate sale, it won't sell here." This could not be farther from the truth. For an estate sale we have 2 days to sell everything; St. Vincent's must have at least 30 days. There were many, many good things left over which we were going to donate, including antiques, china, glassware, etc. There was even a gorgeous floral chair with matching footstool and pillows. My son then went to Value Village and they happily took it all. I'll never go or donate to St. Vincent's again. read more

All earlier reviews are out of date. This store is remodeled and has everything under the sun at prices less than 1/4 of price of new stuff.. Talk about furniture, huge room, maybe 70'x50'. More racks of good, clean clothing than many main line retailers. Houseware, sports stuff, linens, electronics, collectibles, a whole room of just infants clothing, beautiful huge book room that must have 10,000 books in it, jewelry - you name it, this is a huge store. Really pleasant, helpful staff. I think they are open 7 days a week. It seems like every other week nearly everything in the store is on sale at 1/2 price. They even have new beds and socks at great prices. read more

Such a good store!!! Unlike other thrift stores (Such as the Value Village in Kirkland,) St. Vincent's has a great variety of good quality clothes, books, toys, appliances and movies. They have a separate section for women, men and children's clothing. When you do go through the clothing, it,s good quality with fair pricing. I've actually seen wedding dresses there that are simple and beautiful. St. Vincent's has a huge selection of books in various topics that are organized very well. Along with books, they have a huge selection of CDs, vinyls and vhs tapes in the back for really cheap and in good condition. There are a bunch of board games, home appliances and once I even saw a glass tank that could be used for fish or other small pets! What really sets it apart (except from maybe most Good Wills,) is that they sell vanities/cupboard desks and a whole bunch of mattresses and couches. They have a huge room just for those so you can have a good look at the selection. If you want to find jewelry, they do a really cute thing. They take a pretty clear glass vase and stuff it with a bunch of pretty antique-looking jewelry. I really liked that, it gives you a nice little variety of cute jewelry. All in all the shopping is pretty amazing. From what I've read the donation process is very tedious and very bad. I've never had an issue with any staff, but if you have problems with donations, try asking different staff or ask to see the manager. But if you want to find a really nice thrift store, come to St.Vincent's! read more

This is a good thrift store! Picked up a few things, including a used Panasonic VCR to replace my relative's former GE that eats up tapes for about $5.99, tested. Also has a good book and furniture section. All in all a nice store! read more

This thrift store has a very good selection of furniture (there's a whole large room of it) as well as a lot of housewares. The clothing selection can be a bit more hit-or-miss, but everything's clean, and I have found clothes here that are new with tags. The staff is very helpful, and it's usually not frantically busy. Definitely worth checking out. read more

This is one of the better thrift stores in the Seattle area. Good selection of housewares, books, furniture. I haven't found as much in the clothing area, but that's alright I guess. Can't beat the price, that's for sure. read more
