I ran over my Rx sunglasses and the lens popped out but luckily the lens survived the incident. I had an old pair of exact same frames with an old Rx lens and brought them in to Specks hoping for a repair. Not only did the lady fix them completely in about 3 minutes but there was no charge. The person there claimed that he did not carry eyeglass repair kits, which was quite disappointing for a store that does eyeglass repair. I am giving two stars because at least he suggested Walgreens, which did carry a kit. read more

Allen and all the staff were just wonderful. I suffer from double vision so I have to have prism lenses. Mr. Stack also has double vision so he really knows his stuff. It took a couple days to adjust to the new prescription but now I am seeing very well.If you need prism lenses I highly recommend this place! read more

Stack Optical is full service. What I liked the most was their friendliest. They greet you like a long time friend. Dr. Hugh Macmillan gave me the most comprehensive eye exam in years and said I needed prism added to my Rx. Alan told me they would adjust the Rx in increments, most opticians are not doing that he said. Using my same metal frames Stack replaced the lens only for $535.50 I wanted blue blocking but he did not recommend that. I did have to go back for an adjustment to my prescription, which they removed the prism and gladly replaced the lens causing me an issue. read more

Walked in and out within 4 minutes. I sat on my ray bans and they were crooked when I put them on. Nadine looked at them, figured out what was wrong, took the glasses to the back and promptly brought them back looking good as new. They fit perfectly again. Incredible service and highly skilled optician! I had a pair of drill mounted glasses break over the weekend. The frame requires the right length screws which are very hard to source. Called on a Saturday and got an appointment for the same day. The frame was fixed in minutes at no charge. I will definitely buy my next pair of glasses here!! read more

I'm glad everyone else has had a good experience here. I brought some sunglasses to have the lenses replaced and the man working was completely rude to me. He seemed to have an attitude about the fact that I bought them on eBay. I understand that they would not be guaranteed but it's too late to return them so I could have done without his attitude. I stepped on and crunched my only intact glasses and the lens fell off with loose wires. So I came here and brought them in for repair. In less than 1hr I got a call saying my glasses were fixed. Went here today as my husband broke 2 pairs of glasses in 72 hours.... a Rayban pair and a Nike. Allen was so nice on the phone so we went in. He couldn't repair the Rayban frames, but could repair the Nikes, and to bore you all to death with a story made short was able to put a lens from the old Rx that wasn't broken, into the Nikes, (better than nothing until Monday, when we can come in next) and ordered new lenses for WAY cheaper then anywhere else. He didn't charge us at all for the frame repair. I thought I had my CareCredit card on me, but I didn't. Allen said he would trust me to pay on Monday when we pick up my husband's new lenses. I'm amazed at how sweet, knowledgeable, and caring this gentleman was! He has a lot of fun frames in the show room too...including PLAID! I just paid 400 bucks for new glasses but PLAID FRAMES?! Yes please! He also makes beautiful pens. I wish I could afford the one with the key on it, it was so gorgeous! I will be coming here for my eyes from now on. Sorry, LensCrafters. :P read more

I stumbled across Stack Optical Service while searching stores around my office. The customer service was wonderful and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Damien patiently helped me narrow down over 40 different frames(I'm very indecisive) and even took pictures with them on, so I could compare frames side by side. I went back in and picked up my frames just two days later and he adjusted them to fit my face perfectly, and let me know that if anything was off or uncomfortable to just stop right in and he would take care of them. The glasses were designer frames at a very reasonable price, without insurance. Found this place desperate for eyeglass repair of my progressive glasses that cost me a fortune. Tried to work with ClearVision Eye Care, where I bought them just over a year ago. Jim at ClearVision Eye Care turned me away and never called me back as promised or returned my phone call. Took my glasses in to Stack yesterday and was greeted my a pleasant gentleman that took one look at them and confidently said he could replace a screw and possibly spring. He fixed them free of charge in about 10 minutes and just asked if I keep them in mind next time I'm in the market for glasses and I plan to do just that. Thank You! The temple recently broke on my silhouette glasses, I figured I was going to have to buy all new frames (not cheep) and was looking all around town for the best price. Walk in here and the guy takes one look at my glasses and says he can order a new temple piece for only 50 and even puts in a temporary piece free of charge while he orders the correct one. Customer service was so amazing I actually ended up getting new frames from them, they had a great selection and the best prices ($100 cheeper than the other stores). Plus I have working glasses while I wait for the new frames to come in. read more
