    Big breakfast no bacon
    Kate T.

Delicious, huge breakfasts with a large menu that will suit everyone. We got a big breakfast as well as a salmon Benedict and both were enormous and very good (good hollandaise with a bit of tang, I find this can set apart bennies). Service was quick and attentive, and they check everyone coming in the door asking for indoor seating for their vaccination proof plus ID . We sat on the patio and you scan QR code for menu and to leave your info for contact tracing.

I had a difficult time finding a traditional American breakfast while vacationing in Toronto. I must say that this place hit the spot. The food was fresh and tasted superb. I highly recommend this spot.

Gord and I have been to Sunny Morning's Etobicoke location for breakfast a few times and have enjoyed it. I heard this one was near where I work so I checked it out today for lunch. It's a small spot and it was jammed when I got there about 12:45ish. Alyssa in the Etobicoke location had recommended the Maple Chipotle BBQ Burger so that's what I ordered today (minus the cheese, onions and lettuce). I got homefries as my side. The burger was huge, messy and delicious! The bun was soft, just the way I like it. The BBQ was good and had a bit of a bite. There was so much food that I ate the burger and left most of the homefries. I'd order it again. I like Sunny Morning and it's great knowing there is one so close to the office.

This place was a nice find. They offered plenty of options and as you can see from the pictures they give nice portions. We found thisb place on Yelp while searching for a breakfast place we visited 5 years ago on our first vacation together. Anyways, we were allowed immediate seating of our choice and given water and menus. The waitress was nice as well as attentive. We were very excited to see they have Frank's hot sauce which is a must for my fiance. The food was prepared wicker m quickly and tasted as expected. The bacon was a little salty but still good. We went about 1130ish and they were empty but then around 1215, they started to fill up with the lunch time crowd and regulars. We weren't rushed out but didn't want to get caught up in the crowd do we left. It's a small establishment so I can see them filling up pretty fast during the rush. I would recommend this breakfast place to anyone wanting good food for a reasonable price and quiet atmosphere.

Ordered the hungry teen cause I was starving. 3 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 pieces bacon and 3 pieces of pea meal served with home fries and toast. Was greeted by the door by a super friendly smiling server who showed me to a table. Ordered within 3 minutes of arriving despite it being busy and food arrived within a very reasonable time. The food was delicious. Eggs were cooked perfectly and the server checked on me to ensure everything was to my liking. This is probably the best standard breakfast joint in the area. Left feeling very satisfied. Will definitely be coming back!

Great breakfast! The salmon breakfast was yummy but had an interesting flavor. The waitress was super fast and helpful. She accommodated my needs by switching out some things on my plate for other things. The food was good quality and kept me full well in to the afternoon.

Solid spot for a quick bite for breakfast f you're in the area. Just don't go out of your way. The staff are quiet and attentive. The place itself could do with some renovations. The white walls and tile floor make it seem like the inside of a bathroom. It's clean just feels cramped in.

Meh Concentrate OJ Undercooked over medium (un-jellied) Burnt bacon Dry flapjacks Low grade syrup Frozen home fries ...But my cup of joe was decent ??? Sigh. Come on Toronto. This is a good brunch experience? I RECOMMEND- making breakfast at home. This was a fail in every way. EXTRA TIP- small location, expect a lineup on weekends. No host but friendly waitresses.

Friendly atmosphere, yummy food, and very kind and thoughtful staff. This place is amazing. I had the classic breakfast over easy and it was cooked perfectly. I also ordered some berry pancakes and those were fluffy and light. Very cheap and very good. You won't go wrong coming here. FYI only pork sausage and bacon sadly.

The food was great the service was nice an fast bacon was a little to salty..but it was still food the fruit was fresh fresh lol

The Lumberjack: three eggs, pancakes, sausages and home fries.

We went there today for the first time after reading the positive reviews here on Yelp and we left very satisfied! Ambiance: Small place tucked between other shops on Yonge street just off Saint Clair Avenue. It's in a very nice location with lots of things going on. The first thing you'd notice when you walk in is how small it is - but it's more of a cosy small than an uncomfortable small. Very diner-ish feel. Food: We ordered two things to share: the Eggs Benjamin and The Lumberjack. The Eggs Benjamin was poached eggs atop smoked salmon on an English muffin. We asked for hollandaise sauce on the side just because usually restaurants tend to overdo how much they pour over the eggs. The Lumberjack consisted of three eggs and two pancakes. Both meals came with a classic side and we went with home fries for both of them. Both the choices had a very good taste, the home fries weren't too salty, the pancakes were nice and fluffy and the eggs were made well. Price: It came to about $12-$13 per person. It probably will be less expensive than many other places. It's also possible to get much simpler breakfasts for much less. Menu: Breakfast and lunch. Everything from omelettes to french toast to burgers and sandwiches. Overall: I'll be seeing them again!

    A good start!

From the hostess to the waitstaff. All very polite and welcoming. We observed them with other guests and they seemed very patient with the loud kids...and adults to be fair. LOL We had the big skillet both days as well as the breakfast sandwich. While there were some variances, we enjoyed both experiences. The first visit was better in my opinion - the potatoes were tender and not overcooked and my fruit cup didn't have a lot of cantaloupe. I have shared pictures of the menu as well. We had sparkling water and diet cola both times. Our beverages never ran dry. There is an upstairs that overlooks the first floor dining area. We wondered if anyone had ever spilled a beverage that landed on guests below. We could definitely see the possibility of that happening. They also had a nice patio, however, on the hotter days, not sure how enjoyable the city smell would be while trying to eat. Interesting - they only had one bathroom. So we observed a line. And there are tables right next to the door. I would avoid those seats if possible. A little too close to the restroom in my opinion. If we are in the area again, we would definitely eat here again, although they may be at the new location if we visit in the future. I look forward to seeing the upgraded features at the new location.

Pierina guided us via phone and even came outside of the restaurant and waved as we approached. That was awesome Customer service as well as kindness. Ambiance was chill inside. Especially liked the artwork and table with their name on it. I had the Nutella latte, Nutella and strawberry waffle, and a side of sausage. Didn't like the sausage at all (tasted a bit gamey) but that's probably because ein the states there are nitrates, etc that make it taste better. No biggie! She switched it out for bacon, and that was fine and appreciated. My sister had the breakfast tacos that looked delicious and she really enjoyed. All in all this was a great pick and I would return when im Canada ever again and I'm in the area. Keep up the great work, Pierina. Her welcoming attitude attentiveness and knowledge of the menu was stellar and warrants recognition. Thank you!!!

The almond croissant, when you're lucky enough to claim one before nine, delivers a genuinely impressive balance of shattering, buttery layers and a filling laced generously with almond cream, more Parisian in spirit than most bakeries attempting the same feat across this city. Even the raspberry version, when available, carries the same confident hand in the kitchen. The coffee program deserves equal praise. A well pulled latte and a properly balanced cappuccino suggest a team that treats espresso with the same seriousness as their pastry case, and it shows in the cup. Where the experience finds room to grow is in the choreography of the space itself. The room is petite, charming in its cobalt blue framed way, but the flow between ordering and pickup can feel cramped during a rush, and seating fills quickly. The patio, however, is a genuine reward, a shaded perch worth claiming on a slow afternoon. This is a cafe operating with real ambition and skill, let down only occasionally by its own popularity. The potatoes were probably my favourite out of everything. It was good but not the traditional you would expect. My friends sadly did not like their eggs benedict. The coffee was also average, not very strong or fragrant. Service was absolutely terrible. Our sever took so long to come, we see him just chatting in the corner. It was hard to flag him down for anything. It was not a nice experience. Food (3.5/5) - the menu is a combination of small and large plates ideal for sharing. A cosmopolitan menu of diverse items from many different cuisines. - Baja Caesar Salad - baby romaine, corn, caesar dressing, agave bacon, croutons, grana padano, chili spice. This was pretty good, romaine was fresh and sauce not too overpowering with a slight kick to it. - Coconut Shrimp with mango salsa, lime, chipotle aioli. Also pretty good... shrimp was cooked fine and the garnishes worked with it. - Tuna Ceviche with avocado, cilantro, corn, red onions, leche de tigre, cancha, plantain. This one was average. The sashimi chunks were pretty average and the overall mix seemed to lack flavour and moistness. - Hamachi Crudo with avocado, elderflower, pickled strawberry, jalapeño, pistachio, basil, olive oil. This was one pretty bad... some of the worst hamachi I have ever had! Overly fishy and off-colour. Service (4/5) - server and assistants were friendly and generally attentive. Some lapses in check ins from time to time. Rooftop is first come, first serve so a reservation does not mean you will be seated quickly and may have to hang out in the interior bar or tables until ready. Atmosphere (4.75/5) - you really cannot top the view from Kost. It has multiple look out areas besides the patio dining area by the infinity pool. They have a raised photo pedestal which is ideal to take pictures with the Tower, Rogers Centre and lake in the background. They also have some trendy couches and sitting areas as well. The interior dining area is also pretty good with window views outside and a California vibe to it. Overall (4/5) - Yes, the food is on the average side for the price. However, it really is a great atmosphere for dining, even if sitting inside. It is a bucket list destination at a minimum and worth a repeat imo.
