Not worth it in my opinion. I took my mother and aunt here for Mother's Day and this was actually an embarrassment. The food took 30-40 minutes to arrive although we came early ( there was no line or wait time ) and when it did come, it was cold. The portions were smaller than what we are used to elsewhere and we had to keep getting up to find our server to get drinks, refills and our cheque. Not sure if it was like this because of the Mother's Day holiday or if this is the usual service but, I couldn't recommend and probably wouldn't come back. There's so much better out there for the same price. 40 minute wait for cold food is ridiculous. Latte was extremely watered down as well which was super disappointing. read more

Stacked Pancake house is absolutely our fave breakfast spot on the Danforth. Lots of options, I can't imagine anymore not finding something wonderful to love on this menu. They also have a standard breakfast special available at $6.99 for eggs, bacon or sausage including home fries and toast / jam. But I have to say that I love their waffles. They are sooo good. The strawberry blueberry is my fave but candidly you're spoiled for choice. Plus their signature Cinnabun pancake is wonderful. You can even order a single pancake for the table to share if you can't make up your mind between eggs or pancakes lol. And if you want a good burger, do check those out too! read more

It was our first time at Stacked Pancake House on the Danforth for their classic breakfast special. $6.99 was a good deal! The special was a simple and delicious breakfast of bacon and eggs, fried potatoes and with a nice surprise of homemade strawberry jam with the marble rye bread! So yummy and so much better than the small plastic packages at other restaurants. They sell jars of this jam too which I thought was cool. Very nice ambiance and it was quiet at 8am. Big thanks to Mariana for the excellent customer service and making our first visit a great one! Only complaint is that there was hardly any butter on my toast and had to ask for extra butter. Still I highly recommend this place! read more

Good variety of options, especially for breakfast/brunch! Pancakes are a generous size & fluffy! I like that you can jazz up single to make it one of their specialty flavours (ideal if you don't want to commit to a big plate of just pancakes. I tried the cinnamon bun type). The fried egg sandwich is very good, as are the home fries (I usually as for less potatoes as it's too big a serving for me. Staff is attentive. Coffee is good! read more

Prices - very good. Our two meals with coffee was $33 taxes in. Can't beat that for a popular joint on the danforth. If you are on a tight budget they have a full breakfast for 6.99 before 9am. Hard to beat Ambience - very busy and right quarters. It's pretty no frills inside. Had a ton of booths for large groups. Felt a bit congested on a busy Sunday. If you're looking for a little cozy spot to enjoy coffee and breakfast on a lazy Sunday this isn't the place for you. It's a busy "get in/ get out" type of vibe Service - friendly and efficient. They know how to deliver and give food recommendations amidst the chaos. The wait was about 40 minutes for a table. Food - it was good. Solid meal. Not the most amazing breakfast I've had but they hold their own. Crepes were light and tasty. Home fries well don't. Not oily ! This is the only location that opens until late the rest close at 3pm. Here they do burgers etc. if you're not into the breakfast bit. Would I return ? Yes. But likely not on a Sunday. The wait was a bit long for my preference. read more

I can see Stacked ruling breakfasts at the Danforth soon. Their menu is extensive, prices are reasonable, place is bright and spacious, service is friendly, and they're open as early as 7am (when most places on the Danforth don't open till 10 or 11). We stopped by for breakfast and got: - Cinnabun Cakes: One of their signature pancakes, this is aptly named because it definitely tastes like a cinnamon bun in pancake form. A tad too sweet for me but can see why this is a hit.The pancakes themselves were fluffy and chewy, which I like. - Mexican Hash: Liked how the sausage had a bit of heat to it, and they were generous with the potatoes and guac. Would have wanted a bit more of the buffalo sauce and cheese. The homemade strawberry jam that came with the bread is so good we asked for more. Stacked is a great breakfast spot to bring the kids and kids at heart. Will be back! read more

I went for brunch with my friends and god kids. Wonderful company but so so food. The potatoes weren't seasoned and a few were frozen. My breakfast burrito had zero flavor. I'm not a hot sauce fan but had to pour it on. I also found the portions to be small for a breakfast place but perhaps it's just the places I've been to that served large plates. The service was fast and the waitress was bubbly. I would not go again. read more

Hello, I just had the BLT sandwich with home fries delivered to me and I have to say it was quite disappointing. The food was cold to the touch, the sandwich completely fell apart in its container, the home fries were cold and full of mayo and lettuce from the BLT that fell apart, the lettuce was all brown AND to top it off I asked for a tiny amount of mayo on the BLT..... it was smothered in it and inedible. You need to do better if you are charging those prices for something like that. Highly annoying and absolutely not ever buying from there again. Do better if you want to stay in business. read more

This franchise in general is consistently good. And this particular store on Danforth is really lovely. We went in for the $6.99 breakfast. The eggs were done perfectly and to order. The bacon was nice and crisp but not over done. I found the decor really lovely and the store was very clean. I think what was especially nice was the service. We were served by Mariana. She was very gracious and kind. She got the food out while it's nice and hot and told us a little bit about The jam. By the way, here's a hot tip they make the strawberry jam in house, which is absolutely delicious. The jam is also available for sale in jars. read more

Surprised a brekfast establishments "special" concludes at 9am. So a meager brekfast after 9 am, with the $3 dollar coffees, again resulted in an almost $40 brekky for 2. Also, people were fanning themselves for some relief from the heat. Again, if the $6.99 special becomes $10.99 after 9am, the $3 coffee is a slap in the face. So basically $13.99 before tip for a basic brekfast. read more

When I visited here on Saturday I have to guess there was something not right about the pancakes I received, because every now and then I would get a bite that was incredibly salty - like there was way too much baking powder or salt. Beyond that the "chocolate caramel banana" pancakes didn't come with any caramel and the waitress didn't come around until the food was done (or at least as done as it was going to be). Additionally, the bench seat at our table was absolutely covered in syrup, icing, and a couple squashed blueberries which left me having to sit in a weird position out in the aisle. On the other hand my partner's breakfast wrap was quite good, and if the pancakes weren't a disaster, the prices would be pretty fair. Hopefully these are just problems due to being new and busy. My husband and brother and I wanted a breakfast place with a variety of options, and tried Stacked Pancake and Breakfast Place while visiting here from the U.S. We ordered 2 omelet breakfasts and the Jumbo Breakfast plate (scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, a large side of crispy bacon, and toast). We all got large servings of delicious food, and the service was efficient, with friendly staff. The place is cheerful, with bright colors, and has plenty of seating. Very clean. Very happy with this restaurant, and it has reasonable prices. Would eat here again for any meal; also has lunch and dinner. read more

Just ate here. 5 other tables in the restaurant were seated and our food was still cold. I had to flag down the waitress to even get a bill and the whole time my waitress never once even made eye contact, or asked how the food was. My advice for the owner is to retrain your staff and get some food heating lamps. read more

Me and my lovely girlfriend were going by on a stroll and were craving the gourmet pancakes promised by this pancake house. These little shits thought they could close early and take a friday night off. So when we walked by at 10:15 to see the house closed we were extremely disappointed and will not be returning to this location read more
