Stacked Danforth entrance

Stacked Pancake house is absolutely our fave breakfast spot on the Danforth. Lots of options, I can't imagine anymore not finding something wonderful to love on this menu. They also have a standard breakfast special available at $6.99 for eggs, bacon or sausage including home fries and toast / jam. But I have to say that I love their waffles. They are sooo good. The strawberry blueberry is my fave but candidly you're spoiled for choice. Plus their signature Cinnabun pancake is wonderful. You can even order a single pancake for the table to share if you can't make up your mind between eggs or pancakes lol. And if you want a good burger, do check those out too!

It was our first time at Stacked Pancake House on the Danforth for their classic breakfast special. $6.99 was a good deal! The special was a simple and delicious breakfast of bacon and eggs, fried potatoes and with a nice surprise of homemade strawberry jam with the marble rye bread! So yummy and so much better than the small plastic packages at other restaurants. They sell jars of this jam too which I thought was cool. Very nice ambiance and it was quiet at 8am. Big thanks to Mariana for the excellent customer service and making our first visit a great one! Only complaint is that there was hardly any butter on my toast and had to ask for extra butter. Still I highly recommend this place!

Prices - very good. Our two meals with coffee was $33 taxes in. Can't beat that for a popular joint on the danforth. If you are on a tight budget they have a full breakfast for 6.99 before 9am. Hard to beat Ambience - very busy and right quarters. It's pretty no frills inside. Had a ton of booths for large groups. Felt a bit congested on a busy Sunday. If you're looking for a little cozy spot to enjoy coffee and breakfast on a lazy Sunday this isn't the place for you. It's a busy "get in/ get out" type of vibe Service - friendly and efficient. They know how to deliver and give food recommendations amidst the chaos. The wait was about 40 minutes for a table. Food - it was good. Solid meal. Not the most amazing breakfast I've had but they hold their own. Crepes were light and tasty. Home fries well don't. Not oily ! This is the only location that opens until late the rest close at 3pm. Here they do burgers etc. if you're not into the breakfast bit. Would I return ? Yes. But likely not on a Sunday. The wait was a bit long for my preference.

I can see Stacked ruling breakfasts at the Danforth soon. Their menu is extensive, prices are reasonable, place is bright and spacious, service is friendly, and they're open as early as 7am (when most places on the Danforth don't open till 10 or 11). We stopped by for breakfast and got: - Cinnabun Cakes: One of their signature pancakes, this is aptly named because it definitely tastes like a cinnamon bun in pancake form. A tad too sweet for me but can see why this is a hit.The pancakes themselves were fluffy and chewy, which I like. - Mexican Hash: Liked how the sausage had a bit of heat to it, and they were generous with the potatoes and guac. Would have wanted a bit more of the buffalo sauce and cheese. The homemade strawberry jam that came with the bread is so good we asked for more. Stacked is a great breakfast spot to bring the kids and kids at heart. Will be back!

It's a good breakfast and brunch place on the Danforth where they are sorely lacking. I had the Mexican Hash and my wife has the eggs Benny. Both very good portions and pretty tasty. Good service even though it was very busy. Recommended

I went for brunch with my friends and god kids. Wonderful company but so so food. The potatoes weren't seasoned and a few were frozen. My breakfast burrito had zero flavor. I'm not a hot sauce fan but had to pour it on. I also found the portions to be small for a breakfast place but perhaps it's just the places I've been to that served large plates. The service was fast and the waitress was bubbly. I would not go again.

Wowowow I'm so impressed…read more Lambo's Deli does sandwiches right. The moment I got my sandwich, I knew. From of the nostalgic paper bag. A sandwich that's packed TIGHT is packed right. No mess, no stress. That is serious business. The best part is, the ingredients taste so FRESH. As we were waiting, the friendly staff offered everyone free ice cream samples. It was 25°C sunny so it was much needed. No one refused! They're testing out flavours, so I think we will expect to see soft-serve ice cream on their menu in the near future! I got the Caprese sandwich and the fresh mozzarella was so refreshing! Geniusly, there was a layer of breadcrumbs added to my sandwich, which I found very humorous... b/c really? A bread byproduct inside of a sandwich? That was a first for me. But y'know what, the crunch element over the mozzarella was a really good pairing and it works! Also, the pesto was so fresh and good.. that I had pesto on my mind the next day and I just had to find something pesto for lunch again, the influence! Honestly, we did not have the intention of visiting Lambo's that day. We had walked past it on the way to another restaurant, but I remember this corner store with bold modern-80's decor caught my eye. After our original plans fell through, we stumbled back to this street corner which turned out to be a fantastic accident because we wound up loving Lambo's so much, we swore to come back to try the rest of their sandwiches!

This small shop located in Leslieville serves up some great sandwiches in a space that is primarily take out only (although there are a few bar/counter spots if you'd like to eat there. They are also open daily from 11am to 9pm. Menu wise, there are 9-10 kinds of sandwiches to choose from. They are all served on a sesame kaiser roll and cut in half. You're also able to add on ingredients on top of the already selected ones in the sandwiches. Each of Lambo's Deli locations also have a special sandwich, where this time when I went, it was the crispy chicken club. They also have soft serve as well (rotating flavours!). I stopped by Lambo's Deli on a Monday morning before the lunch rush and opted to grab: - Italian trio sandwich (soppressata, mortadella, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, picked red onion, arugula, pesto, Calabrian chili spread) - $18 - Soft serve (flavour was hojicha) -$5 Service was friendly and I received my soft serve while waiting for my sandwich to be prepared. It took about 5 min and it was nicely packed. Staff were great and handed me a handful of napkins as well. I ate my sandwich an hour later and before opening the packaging, the sandwich was pretty heavy! Looking at a cross section of the sandwich, it was packed with ingredients! The Italian Trio sandwich was delicious. The roasted red peppers, pickled red onion, arugula, and Calabrian chili spread added freshness to the sandwich which didn't make it feel so heavy with all the deli meats inside as well as the mozzarella cheese. The sandwiches are big and I could only finish half for lunch. Overall, a delicious sandwich shop in Leslieville. Lambo's Deli definitely packs a lot of ingredients in their sandwiches which make for a tasty meal. Be warned, the sandwiches are huge! Also...don't miss out on their soft serve too!

I'd…read moredefinitely recommend ordering ahead on their website since there's no indoor seating to wait, but it makes the whole experience much smoother. There are benches outside and counters where you can stand and eat, giving it a casual, quick-stop kind of vibe. It's also part market, so you can browse a selection of goodies while you're there. I tried the Antico Parma sandwich and it was delicious--definitely a spot I'd go out of my way for again. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area.

I got 3 sandwiches for me and my family (4 people including me). What we ordered: Mona Lisa: 8/10 For both of the sandwiches the bread was very fresh and delicious! They make them fresh for each order and you can taste the quality. The flavours in the Mona Lisa worked really well together, I loved the truffle cream and burrata. Torino: 7/10 This sandwich was also good, but the I felt like it was lacking something, especially compared to the mona lisa. The spicy eggplant just tasted like plain pickled eggplant and wasn't that spicy. I feel like both sandwiches were a bit salty due to the prosciutto, and were missing some sweet or acidic element. I added some balsamic glaze and hot honey at home which was great! The portion sizes are HUGE, the 4 of us were quite full after splitting the 3.
