My elderly father who has dementia was not doing well in his living situation. I was at my wits' end trying to figure out how to find a new living situation for him. Every assisted living or memory care place seems almost the same and seemed to have the same sales pitch. I just couldn't sift through any more of it and feel confident on my own in finding a better situation for my dad. It was probably one of the single best things that ever happened in this painful, complicated road of caring for my dad. Pam was warm, friendly, and interested in helping me. Before i even engaged her services, she gave so much of her time to me. She wasn't another one of the sales people in the assisted living business - she just seemed like a concerned friend. And she had a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience. We worked together for several months because I was so nervous about moving my dad. But she was patient and kept talking with me through good options. She was a fantastic sounding board. She got to know my dad's needs and made recommendations based on his needs and my concerns. She visited several facilities with me and became a good interface between me and the facility we finally chose. She was alongside us as we moved my dad and continued to interface with the facility and advocate for us in a couple of situations that arose when we moved my dad in. No one should navigate this road alone. Pam at Stacy's Helping Hands genuinely wants to help people navigate this arduous road. I feel like she's really become a friend in this whole process. The process of finding assisted living/memory care is extremely stressful and Pam's expertise and willingness to go above and beyond was greatly appreciated. There is not enough positive I can say about the assistants and help I've received from Pam! I was lost on what directions to take when it came to finding a place for my mom. Not only did she completely guide me through the process... But she also made me feel comfortable and confident about the right place for my mother! In 2021, my Dad, who has Alzheimer's, fell and broke his hip and I had to find an Assisted Living facility for him with very short notice. Since I live in California, I had no knowledge of the Denver area, so I called Pam of Stacy's Helping Hand. She responded quickly and was very informative. After meeting my father in the rehab facility, Pam immediately recommended that I consider a smaller home-like Assisted Living facility for him since he would likely be lost and even more confused in a large facility. Stacy's helping hand was truly a life saver for my mom and our family. After a series of unfortunate incidents at a large corporate facility I knew we needed to move her asap. I called Pam first thing in the morning and she arranged to meet with us a few hours later. Pam had a few options in mind and by that afternoon she had several places for us to check out. One place in particular stood out for my mom and she arranged a visit for the following day. This place was perfect! Assisted Living Agency - My mother fell, and went from a 911 call directly into rehab, we were told she should not live alone any longer, she had mild/moderate dementia. Within two weeks our world changed.
