First, I've always found Ace Auto to be courteous, honest, and clear with communicating the work that my cars needed (a 2013 Camry switching to a 2017 RAV4 Hybrid later). They've always been up-front about what work is critical versus what can be delayed until later. Second, the owners are dedicated to ensuring that cars are repaired and returned in a timely fashion. When COVID hit in 2020, they went in on the weekend to fix my RAV4 all so that I could get my car back on the following Monday as promised (which wasn't actually their fault as a supplier error caused the wrong part to be shipped initially, and the right part only arrived when the shop was about to close on Friday). Third, while the service provided might not be the cheapest, I have NEVER had to take my car back in to get a repair "fixed" because it was done improperly the first time. This was really important to me because my car was my main mode of transportation as a family caregiver. I'm sorry that it took me almost eight years and two different cars to get around to writing this review. On the other hand, I can pretty confidently say that you can rely on Ace Auto to make sure your vehicle stays in great shape over the years. Thanks guys.

They did a full car inspection and stated that my brakes were perfectly fine and "still had a lot of life left in them". They did convince me to pay $700 to replace a timing belt. One week later, my brakes stopped working in the middle of me driving. Took it to a different auto shop, my brakes were scraping so bad that my brake lines were broken and the fluid leaked out, causing my brakes to stop working completely. I could have died. Short story is they replaced our alternator and battery with new ones in October 2024. In early January, while driving our car lost all electricity and we barely made it home safely. The following day I took it to the official dealer, where their service department explained to us that the alternator was actually previously used/refurbished when installed by Chuck's a few months back. After speaking with Dave at Chuck's they acknowledged using a refurbished part; although they never once mentioning this to us originally and despite charging us a price for a new alternator (according to the dealer service manager). They even cleaned the exterior and interior of the car as an added bonus. Will definitely come back here if I'm unfortunate enough to need body work done again. When I came in for my scheduled appt, they did not have it on the calendar, but said they can take my car anyways. I asked for an oil change, inspection, and tire rotation. I also asked them to check one tire that was deflating faster than the others. After taking a look, they told me I did not need a rotation, and that the deflating tire was fine. I went elsewhere and it turns out Matt's got my tread measurements wrong, and I was definitely overdue for a rotation. They also did not notice a gash in my tire. And they did not reset my car system reminder for the oil change.
