I will never buy a Perry again. Focus on quality Perry like when Mr. Perry was alive...stop cutting corners to make your margins better...hate when finance people run the company.

Parkside on the River in Georgetown…read more We have had ongoing electrical issues with our home since we moved in approximately 18 months ago. Unfortunately, getting these issues addressed has been an extremely frustrating experience. We have opened numerous service tickets for the same recurring electrical problem, yet the issue has continued without a lasting resolution. After months of back-and-forth and repeated tickets, we finally started seeing some effort toward actually finding a solution. The decision was made to replace the electrical panel, and we were told the electric company would check back in about a week to determine whether the replacement resolved the problem. However, before that follow-up could happen, the property manager came to our home and asked me to sign the service ticket. He told me they would be checking back in a week, but did not explain that what I was signing meant that I was agreeing to close the ticket. I was under the impression that I was simply acknowledging the work that had been done and that the issue would remain open until we knew whether the replacement actually solved the problem. This is extremely disappointing. After dealing with the same electrical issue for 18 months and opening so many tickets for it, the priority should be making sure the problem is actually resolved--not simply getting the service ticket closed. It feels like the focus has been on closing the ticket rather than addressing the underlying issue and making sure the homeowner is satisfied. We expected much better communication, transparency, and accountability from our builder and property management team. When a homeowner is dealing with a potentially serious electrical problem, the goal should be a proper and lasting resolution--not simply closing another ticket.
