I regret putting the 2 year warranty on my car. Ive had some strange troubles w/ it. And they tell me they do not do test drives. If they had test drove the car like I asked they would have noticed the trouble right off. The Indicator lights do not come on when anything is wrong. They flash 3 times & go off & thats it. When I called recently, I was told they were very very busy & it would be 2 weeks before they could look at my car. I took it to a local mechanic, they took it for a test drive. One hour later my car my car was fixed. I paid $249.51 On the warranty I would never have paid that much. Im unsure of going back to Stage1.. I feel ripped off.... read more

I used to really like this place and would go there all the time. Tha last time, however, I went there for inspection and oil change, and for a noise form the rear left that I thought was a wheel bearing noise. They changed the oil and told me the noise wasn't the wheel bearing, but the back brakes. Ok, so I had them done. The noise was still there after and I brought the car back. This time they told me it was just some rust in the brakes they had forgotten to remove. They removed that, but the noise was still there. Brought the car back again and told them again that I thought it was the left rear wheel bearing. They checked again and then told me that it was the rear right wheel bearing. When I expressed doubt, they told me that "noise travels funny in a car", and that it was definitely the right one. Guess what, they repaired that and the noise was still there. Got a call from Brian who said, sorry it's the left rear wheel bearing after all. Needless to say, I brought the car to a different shop to have it repaired finally. The car also had a weird oil smell after the repairs at stage ans lost oil. After another oil change somewhere else, I found out that Stage hadn't closed the oil filter lid appropriately and that oil had been dripping out. read more

I had a poor experience at this place. Went in with my wife to purchase a used car. For whatever reason, I was not taken seriously and I felt like they rushed me out the door. So I rushed right over to prestige and bought a brand new Hyundai from a salesman who actually cared to get to know me and ask some questions. Had to have some work done on my car after it sustained some damage from fallen cable lines. Right from the start you are welcomed by such genuine kind people. They really go out of their way for you as a customer to make sure you are happy. I needed a new hood and being my car was brand new the paint was gonna be a hard match to make since it's a brand new color. I dealt with Ed through it all and he really was great. In order to keep me from being inconvenienced he'd actually come to my job to get my car and leave his in its place. This meant not only did I not have to make any extra trips or leave work but his vehicle saved my spot lol. And he dropped my car back off before my shift was over. They managed to perfectly match the color of my hood to the rest of my car also for much less money than another body shop in the area which quoted me much higher. This is the only place I'd go to get any work done on my car. Great people and true professionals. read more

About 2 weeks ago, I was out looking at cars, having recognized the need for one. I do occasionally check their printed lists they have outside of all there current inventory (this is their greatest difference that sets them apart from all the rest) in the cased-in box, and this time was no exception. Although I thought that I might be able to come to a decision with just their mediocre amounts of cars to choose from that matched my specifications, but this later turned out to be easier said than done. Although the test drive was rather easy, and it didn't take long, the one car that was blocking the path to back the car out of its spot had to moved so I could test drive this one car had to be moved by hand because this other car's battery had died (poor timing and upkeep, apparently)! After we got back, we were greeted by one of their sales clerks who told us a tiny bit about the car. When we asked him about an issue we had with the car, he was nice enough to research an answer to the question, but it seemed he had to do more research than most automotive sales people, and that made me feel so uneasy, no deal could have been made. I continue to look even further, however there are other dealerships with cars that match my specs. I will continue to look, but I will keep you in mind; fit right now though, I'll have to pass. read more

I purchase a 2008 Honda Ridgeline from stage one June of 2018. I purchased a extended warranty at the time of the purchase. I have taken it back twice and both times the service was slow and poor. A year has gone by and the warranty has expired. I received a card saying that they would give me a free tire rotation with the inspection. No appointment needed. I went there and was told I need to make an appointment. I don't recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from there. read more

Just follow me here, I wanna give all the details so the reader can get a good opinion. 15 months ago I bought a car from this place, it was a Thursday, they told me to come back next Thursday to pick it up. However during the week I had a death in the family, the funeral was on that Thursday. So on that day when I went to pick up the car, not only had it not even been moved but they said it wasn't gunna be ready today. I explain the situation, and very nicely they made it happen to I can take the car. (That's the only good part about this). There was a problem or 2 tho. The airbag light was on and after playing about 3 months of phone tag w no calls backs I was finally able to get in touch w them, they did fix the problem and they did do it for free, but I was confused as to why nobody lifted a finger to get my car ready, this could of been done during that week I was waiting. Here's my BIG problem tho. The transmission in the car was messed up, I kept trying to bring it up but it kept getting ignored bc they were alrdy focused on the airbag light. I eventually got the light fixed but not the transmission, truthfully I was just happy to be done dealing w these guys at that point. So here I am 15 months later, the transmission in the car died, so I feel like I paid 6,000$ for a car that just gave me problems the entire time. So I would deffinitly avoid these guys, I did not have a good experience. I will say tho, they did pull some strings to let me take the car the day of the funeral AND John the salesman was really nice. So those 2 things are worth a 2 star rating but, as far as business goes, not very good. read more

The best place to take your car for a repair or just maintenance. Chuck and Brain are the first ones to great you at the door with a big smile. Ed did some body work on my car after a small accident. I had dropped the car off and he ordered the parts for me. But I was able to take the car, since I lived in Albany and worked in Lake Katrine and had no other way to get around. When the parts came in, Ed had me drop the car off again so he could match the paint. Well my new bumper dried I was able to take my car again. Till they called me to drop my car off again. When I got it back I could not believe how perfect she look. If it was not for Ed working with me I don't think I would have been able to get my car fixed. I was so happy I baked them a cake that looked just like my fixed up car. Plus I love that they don't treat me like a dumb girl that has no I idea about cars. I've had body work done at Stage 1 3 times over the years. They've been willing to do the best that could be done without ordering expensive new body panels/bumpers. And they have done a first class job at a very reasonable price every time. They explained the various options and costs without pressure, and let me decide what to have done.
