The salesperson I worked with was Tyler and he was very helpful in getting me a car. There was an…read moreinitial stumbling block of me being offered a car that they didn't actually have a title for, but I appreciate Tyler's perseverance in navigating this situation and helping me to obtain a better car for a similar price.

I stood there for a few seconds and was like ok let it go and see if you can find Kris. I walk up to someone who does not have a customer and inform him I have a 2 o'clock appointment with the manager Kris. Who goes to talk to someone in the office and then tells me another sales person will help me because Kris dose not take appointments. I continue and state i have some unique credit issues and when I talked to Faith her and I both agreed I should speak with the manager and see if they could get me into a new car. He messages Kris and tells ne he will be there in about 5 minutes. Sure no problem I was early totally get it. Now it's 220 and still no kris, we'll he is there but he apparently does not take appointments as I have now been told 3 times. ANOTHER person comes over and says she is going to help me. Again I say my same story only this time I say clearly Kris does not want to help me and I will be taking my business elsewhere. Kris is standing right next to me. How do I know it's him, because the lovely lady says Kris She's walking out the door. Maybe i was ignored because I'm fat, and ugly and the person he was helping was very pretty. Maybe it's because I have glasses, or maybe it's because I have bad credit and I wanted to go over numbers before I wasted anyone's time. Whatever the reason I will never go back, and I will be sure to tell everyone how I was treated at prestige toyota.

My car…read morebattery died, I made an appt at another garage to get a new battery put in, they unfortunately did not have the tool that was needed to do it since it is a VW and the battery is under the seat. I had already bought the battery from them. I called VW and explained the situation. The woman asked me to wait for a moment, to ask the service manager if they could do it. She came back on and said yes, that they could replace the battery and use the one that I just bought elsewhere. I made an appt with her for a short time later. I called right back to ask what the price was because I hadn't initially asked in the first phone call. When I called, I got someone else, explained the situation, and was told that it was $65. When I got to the dealership I walked in, there was a man in the service area. I told him that I had called. I told him the situation. I said I made an appointment, he immediately got loud said that it takes hours to do it and it is not $65, it's several hundred dollars, and he didn't know if they could even do it. He told me three different amounts in a five minute period. I told him that I was told $65 by another staff member. He also got on the phone in front of me to find out who had made the appointment and started scolding them over the phone while I was standing there. I decided that I needed to get the battery replaced because it was dead, so I told him to move forward and to put in the battery I brought in. He said that he would look to see if the battery was correct, by taking my car apart, since the battery is under the seat. I asked him if he wanted to check the battery that I brought with me first, before he pulled the car in to verify it was correct, even though I had verified it three different times with others. He told me no, that he would just pull it into the garage and that they would take a look. About 20 minutes later, he told me that they could not use the battery and that I needed to pay $365 for a new battery and that they would have one sent over today. I told him the battery I had has already been verified, confirmed that it does fit in my vehicle. I felt that I was being taken advantage of, I told him that I was going to take my vehicle elsewhere to get it taken care of. I waited over an hour after he told me it would be 30 minutes to get my car back. He then told me it would be $267 for labor because they looked at the car. I was shocked because nothing was done. The service manager came over and asked what was going on, at first he tried to side with the mechanic, but then after listening to what happened, he told me he would not charge me. The mechanic shoved the door open to the garage and yelled, they are not ***king charging her! I am a female and feel that this Individual thought he could treat me in a disrespectful manner. The service manager did the right thing, but I am not going back, based on the overall treatment given my the mechanic. In the end I had my Father do it, 40 minutes. Done. There was also a new big groove, down to the metal, which looks like a large flat head screwdriver was dug into the paint and dragged inside the drivers side door. The vehicle I brought in, was purchased at this dealership. Never going back, nor is my family that also bought a vehicle from them.
