This is an entertaining spot to visit while exploring the Old Sacramento Waterfront. It's 3 interconnected stores (The Vault, The Old Fashioned Candy & Confectionery Shop, & G. Willikers Toy Emporium) that cover a lot of space with tons to see in every nook & cranny. Entrances are on K Street (The Vault) and Front Street (G. Willikers). What will you see? Toys galore in G Willikers--board games, vehicles, polished rocks, bath toys, musical toys, stuffies, figurines, current characters, nostalgic throwbacks, & so much more! Lots of candy! Souvenirs--things like keychains, drinkware, historical books, a pressed penny machine Character themed items in The Vault--Disney, Sanrio, Peanuts, Muppets, Gudetama, Star Wars, & Pusheen to name a few Assorted other stuff--decals, lanyards, socks, clothes, bags, name signs Unique attractions to see are a mountain with trains, a shooting gallery game, & a big Lego bear. There is also an area with collections of art. Sadly we weren't able to look at the art section because it was closed off. According to a worker we asked, the person in charge was there to open the area, but was nowhere to be found though we waited a while. It was the middle of a spring break weekday. Visited in the evening March 28th. See receipt. Great walking distance from the hotel ( Delta King). I went into this large store to pick up a souvenir for a friend. It is packed with all kinds of fun stuff! It's touristy but very interesting to look around! It was pretty crowded in there! I got a small shot glass shaped like a barrel - very cute! I love that everything is well lit in old Sacramento and I feel completely safe walking around by myself in this area! If you are looking for something different or even just a Sacramento momento than this is it! read more

I've always been a big fan of this store and always stop in when visiting Old Sac! They have so many unique gifts and items - from Funko Pops, to Disney artwork to old school candy. It's a great place to also find items specific to Sacramento for people from out of town. They had some many Christmas items - to be honest, I was a bit overwhelmed looking at everything because it was quite crowded. I do like that the store is very organized and every theme is placed together. So if you're looking for something specific, you can find all the items in one spot. Their Disney artwork room is incredible - I'd buy it all if I could! They used to have a lot of movie and TV memorabilia here which was why I started shopping here years ago, I think they've cut back on it, but you still find movie and TV themed items. Most ideas are pricy, but what isn't nowadays? Staff is very and helpful every time I visit. Check them out! read more

There's so much going on in the store you can easily lose track of time! The store also conjoins a candy shop in the middle and another toy store on the other end. This side has a lot of souvenirs, pop culture items and quirky gifts. If you are looking for a fun gift this is a great place to explore. There are Harry Potter things, Disney things, Sanrio things so much. Impossible to not spend some money haha. The items are not cheap as this is a touristy spot. And service is pretty good. I was visiting from out of town and I was told to go walk around the area. I parked in a metered spot. Max is 2 hours. There were a lot of cool little shops that are within this building. There are free public restrooms near the ferris wheel just across the way from this establishment. I found out that Stage Nine owned all these little shops in the building! The selection went from toys, tattoos, food, candy, clothing, souvenirs, collector items (Disney), and the staff that I've encountered were friendly and helpful. The price value of these shops ranges from $-$$$$ depending on which shop you go to. read more

I took the train to Old Town & notices the error on the train back. The manager refused to credit my card for the difference. She expects me to take the train back up which is another $38 round trip. I am here tonight for the tree lighting and Christmas lights show and went to the stand outside to buy their almonds and cashew bags and the girl working the stand is extremely rude! Several of us also noticed she's scratching her head she has no gloves on and ashes texting while there's a line of about 8-10 of us. This place has gone down the dumps as far as hiring just anyone to represent their store. Rude employees and zero cleanliness. read more

Wow this place is cool. Saw this while walking in Old Sac. It has a lot of memorabilia. Love the Star Wars and Mandalorian stuff . So much stuff to look at. Stage Nine has to be on your list when visiting Old Sac! I've always loved browsing here since I discovered this store 13 years ago. My favorite has always been the corner where they display all types of Disney-related artwork. On my most recent visit, I noticed they've elevated their offerings - they had so many Disney and Loungefly merchandise! Don't skip out on The Underground Vault! They have the coolest items down there and we even saw commissioned Disney x Sacramento artwork. They had several pieces on sale, but you can spend a good 30 minutes down there just browsing. My daughter is trying to be independent and went to pay for her own bulk candy. Keep in mind. I only let her get two scoops maybe 15 to 20 pieces of candy. Was charged 29.37 for bulk candy!!! WHAT!!! The receipt does not state the amount of money for the bulk Candy per pound or does not show the weight. I don't know how much she was charged per pound and I don't know how much it weighed, but I'm looking at it. It is not that much money is worth of candy. PERIOD!! didn't realize how much she was charged until we were on our way home which we live an hour and a half from there. Overcharging a minor shame on you guys. read more

Old Sacramento has lots of souvenir stores. Stage Nine Entertainment is clearly one of the best here. We have more and more people interested in visiting Sacramento. Old Sacramento is one of the must visits places when you're in Sacramento. I would say Stage Nine Entertainment is one of the must visits souvenir shops you must check out. They have a huge selection of all kinds of souvenir items, including cups, plates, t-shirts .... etc. The store itself is one of the biggest stores in Old Sacramento. They're at the corner of 1st Street and K Street. They have an entrance on both sides of the streets. The young lady working in the department carrying lots of cups is so lovely! Another cool spot for me to hit up in Old Sac! Is it pricey? Yes. Is it touristy? Yes. So why did I love it? 2 words-DISNEY MERCH. I'm going to Disneyland next month and have been in search of a backpack for my trip. Within 5 minutes I found the perfect one! It's not too small or big and the design is Disney Villains. Just in time for Halloween! Mwahahaha!!! They also carry t-shirts, mugs and other souvenirs but I was completely mesmerized by the Disney artwork they have. There was some absolutely beautiful canvas paintings. If you're a Disney fan like me, that alone will be worth a visit! read more

I love the selection in this place it really is a movie souvenir kind of store. We go there every time we're in old town. The people that work there are not only knowledgeable but also very friendly. They are willing to help you even if it means checking the stock room. Some times things seem a bit high priced but they're actually pretty much the same as online, you just don't have to pay shipping and let's face it rent in old sac is not cheap. Bar none track nine is a collectors paradise. With actually a mom and pop feel to it. But see for yourself I think you'll be presently surprised. read more

This place might as well count as a Disney museum or store in Sacramento. The basement portion is filled with art and memorabilia from actual movies. Some of the stuff is even more expensive than some cars lol. They sell Disney shirts, backpacks among other merch. They sell boardgames and toys, and even candy. Picture taken 2/17 I went in about a couple of weeks ago to buy a product from a collection I collect. I was pleased to see the Maleficent item I wanted in stock on (2/9). I was a little put off that it was $319 when, on Amazon and another store it was priced at $255. I was excited and really happy when they were able to price match from the other store. I was asked to examine the item and I did. The only items I was not able to verify was her hands that detach from her arms. The cashier wrapped those up fairly quickly, and I didn't get a chance to view them. I came home, excited about this purchase and I opened my item. Upon opening, I saw that one of the hands had been previously repaired with glue and the other hand had a red mark on it. I was shocked that they were asking so much over the market price.  I realize that they were able to price match at the $255 price point, but considering it was damages, there should've been a bigger discount. I returned the item the same day. (2/9) I went in the store today (2/17) and that SAME item, that I purchased, was "fixed" and put back on display for the SAME amount of $319. When I asked the cashier "How could you guys put this item back on the shelf for the same price?" She looked at me and told me that "Management told me to put it back because it was salvageable." I told her "There isn't even a sign that states the item was repaired or damaged." She told me "I'm just the messenger." She didn't seem concerned at all that this company was misrepresenting it's product and it's condition. There is NO REASON a damaged/repaired item should be sold above market value WITHOUT acknowledging that it was repaired. This is what you call abusing the customers. read more

This is one of my favorite stores to visit whenever I'm in Old Sac. They have lots of marvel, Harry Potter, Disney, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, and Star Wars merchandise. They have a bunch of Funkos Pops throughout the store. It connects to the candy store next door. There used to be a TARDIS at the entrance of Stage Nine. Who looks at their receipts? I do..... because have one of those apps that "rewards" you for shopping and snapping pics of the purchase proof. We were hanging out with friends this weekend in Old Sacramento and my wife exclaimed, "we have to stop at stage nine! They have all those toys..." she's truly a kid at heart, but anyways. Stage nine is like a one stop gift shop for finding fandom art and collectibles. They actually have a pretty wide selection of action figures and limited edition pieces. I did some price checks of their in store purchase price vs online-- there was only a difference of about 50 dollars, which, is decent when we consider time of year (Christmas 2020), cost of shipping, instant gratification, etc. we generally stop here once per (in the area) visits and I recommend it. For anything from lunch boxes to puzzles to Disney art, you'll find something for ALL ages. Also, they offer military discount with ID. read more

I purchased an item in the store that was marked at $8.99, and I didn't think to check the receipt after I bought it, but was charged $10.99. Bought a needoh that was supposed to light up and didn't, returned and replaced it only to have it break on my daughter Christmas morning. Just visited again, daughter bought galaxy slime that feels like hair gel and or glue. Just a big mess, going to have to return again! High markups! Do your homework before shopping here. Went here over the weekend and pick up 2 anime books for my step son. The price was $43 out the door. I was a bit sticker shocked as we have been buying him these from another local store and they normally run much cheaper. Well not wanting to be that guy I didnt let the sticker shock get to me so I paid it and moved on. It wasn't until after we left that he removed the price sticker and noticed that the $12 books were marked up to $19.99 each. Look I get it, if the price bothered me that much I shouldnt have bought it. Which is true and we should have paid more attention before committing to buy the books for him. But a $8 price hike in each book is a little excessive. The thing about this kind of greed is that it may get you a sale but it's going to kill your repeat business. We are local customers and will not be coming back. With local competitors offering the same product without the markup there is no reason to. read more

Cool movie memorabilia! I love love LOVE this store! SITREP In the heart of Old Sacramento is a mecca for hardcore movie fans. And it's called "Stage Nine." If you are looking for some pretty choice, sometimes obscure movie posters or other cinema-related memorabilia, this is the place. SET-UP Being an obsessive Peter O'Toole fan, one of my coworkers on one of her outings told me she had a sighting of O'Toole at this store. I had to go that very afternoon and I'm glad I did! I got my humongous Lawrence of Arabia poster here and I couldn't be happier now that it adorns the hallway at the top of my stairway at home. But it doesn't stop there. If you are a Disney fan, a Star Wars fan, or a fan of many many other films, you are bound to find something here. And even if you don't find a specific movie-related item that you may have had your heart set on, chances are that disappointment will soon be ameliorated when you see something ELSE that excites your visual receptors! We've been here a few times now. This place brings the the little kid out of us. Lol. They've got all kinds of different movie collectibles. We've always found something every single time we've visited. They've got anything from shirts/sweatshirts, hats, figurines, candy, keychains, autograph photos, etc. I found a cool Spider-Man t~shirt here that I haven't seen anywhere else. My buddy found a cool hat that lights up. Lol. The people here are really nice. The store is set up by theme category. Pretty fun to browse through. For as much foot traffic coming through I am surprised that the employees can keep this place staying organized!! Oooooh!! They also have cool antiques in there. We will be back to check things out. Neat little memorabilia shop in Old Sac. Great Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel, Dr. Who, and Disney artwork, posters, trinkets, and T-Shirts. They even have a ZOLTAR fortune teller machine from the movie "Big." I bought a couple Star Wars drink holders and have bought T-shirts in the past as well. I am waiting for a new room remodel to buy a large painting from here to be a center piece to the rooms redecoration. I like coming here before dinner reservations in Old Sac at one of the nearby restaurants. Nice employees, clean, and plenty of interactive displays as well. Also, dear patrons, please leave your strollers outside the store. The aisles are to thin for your large doublewide strollers blocking the way. read more

While visiting old town on the 4th of July with our adult daughter and husband as we entered the store and read a sign that stated we must leave our bags at the counter ! I asked the girl employee If we have to leave our bags as we had too many valuable items in this bag and she insisted we did ! I said I refused ! She said Ok in a loud happy voice ! If this is the way this store conducts business then I will just take my business elsewhere cause good customer service is everything and not everyone is a thief ! Cashier was rude when I asked the price of a collectible displayed behind the counter. Almost came off like I was wasting his time. The price was was also inflated (over 70+ over retail) for figures that they already open and leave exposed to the elements. They need to reevaluate their pricing and display strategy for Hot Toys, and their customer service. read more

Store in ye old town Sacramento which kinda sorta tries to have a hollywood theme. Parking is the old town standard of street only. Typically there will be space if not right in front, then close by around the corner, or in the surface lot close also around the corner. If needs must there is a parking garage not block ish away on the capitol mall entrance. Stage Nine has the same ownership as a couple of other places such as G. Willikers toy store and the vault. It actually is physically connected to/shares space with the vault and once inside you'll be hard pressed to tell which side you are in, and the sales stock can come from the other locations. Stage nine has some sale bins that will lure you in-two shirts for twelve dollar kinds of things, and while the sales are always welcome, the more you go inside the more you'll see. There's a focus on movie type memorabilia. The Vault is a Disney Preferred Gallery thingy so one of the best ways to tell which store you're in is when you start seeing more serious collectible stuff as opposed to clothing/ticky tacky. The vault also has a super annoying Zoltar fortune telling machine right by the cash register. So if you're at a register station and there's no zoltar blaring away/the counter clerk does not look they've been driven mad by zoltar, then you're still on the stage nine side of things. Decent enough place to browse especially for those interested in art/entertainment/hollywood stuff. read more

Man, I hate going to this store. There is always a ton of cool stuff to buy and so much more to look at. The draw back? The people that think they're better than you because they work at Stage Nine. I have been going to this store for years and have never been greeted, helped or even acknowledged until it was time to take my money. Even then, it was as little as possible. No eye contact, no thank you, no nothing. The guy who took my money today seemed afraid that he might touch me on accident when handing me my bag. As nice as this store is, I can't give it more then 3 stars because of the crappy customer service. read more

My favorite store in Old Sac! They have a wide variety of toys and collectibles from Marvel, Dr Who, Disney, GoT, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, etc. But they also have an awesome memorabilia section with artwork from various genres, such as cells from the original xmen signed by Stan Lee. Thank God my bank account reminded me that I couldn't buy everything I wanted from that store or I'd come home with a carload of nerdy goodness after every visit. read more
