Needed to stay the night somewhere and this place had a bathtub which was a requirement for me. I pulled off the Interstate into a different dimension, the Stagecoach 66. Dusty streets, in a desert village, consisting of the motel and an attached biker bar/pizza joint.. something right out of a Terminator movie. I was instantly in love. My Hawaiian themed room inspired me to order a Hawaiian pizza for dinner. I schlepped it back to my room, which opened with an old, well worn key. The pizza was amazing. I then proceeded to watch my favorite Outer Limits episode, The Zanti Misfits, on the modest but working tv. Just...heaven. Yes. The rooms are old and worn, but clean. And this place is just quaint and wonderful. I highly recommend it, just don't fuss over some worn furniture and embrace a great overnight stay at a place with a lot of character. Adorable vintage motor court. I stayed in room 139 (Elvis!) on 11/26/2021. Anna-Lisa is super sweet and welcoming, and exceptionally communicative. Awesome/huge room with brand-new throw pillows that fit the theme perfectly.  Room was massive with a fridge and microwave, but, alas, no coffee, but I always travel with my own just in case. (See the office for coffee in the AM.)  This is only the second room in my life that's had colored bath towels - I love that touch.  The shower had good pressure considering the vintage of the property and the location.   Anna-Lisa let me know that she hadn't turned the heater on, and where the switch was - it took a couple hours but wow that heater had me sweating!  The bed was firmer than I'm used to but I slept great.  (Elvis gazing at me all night probably lulled me into blissful slumber?) ***the property doesn't have cable so pack your Roku/Firestick!*** Yes, there is train noise since it's on 66; this isn't a problem for me because I live near tracks. Stopped by here on our drive from Grand Canyon to Vegas at night and we were treated excellently by the receptionist, a lady from Florida, and the Norwegian owners. Shower wasn't working all that properly but overall a great stop, especially for the price. Make sure to also check out the Pizza Joint restaurant that's part of the motel. read more

We planned a week long road trip through Arizona. Our last stop before heading home was Seligma, AZ. My husband found this place. He saw that it had themed rooms and thought that it would be a fun way to end the trip. The pictures online looked good. When we checked in and entered our room, it was horrible. The chairs were stained, there were hairs in the sinks, dirt all over the carpet and bathroom, big cracks in the ceiling, and cobwebs in the corners. We checked out and sought lodging elsewhere for the night. read more

The motel itself is an older topical nostalgic rout 66 spot. The pizzeria has lots of options and the bar is fully stocked. The best part about this spot is the staff. They are polite and attentive to your needs. Great bunch of folks. read more

We have been making a point to stay at historic Route 66 motels when we travel, which is often. This is our first time at this motel. We were happy to see such a bright, cheerful and clean room. Our room had old-fashioned cowboy decor. It reminded us of our grandmother's home and all the good memories. If you love the sleek, new, look-alike motels this isn't the place for you. We booked 3 rooms for 12 hikers to have a shower and rest after finishing Havasupai. I had spoken to Karen a few times over the last few months to ensure the reservations were good to go (booked on Expedia and you never know sometimes it gets squirrelly). Karen was super accomodating. She arranged for early check in and knew we would only be there for a few hours. We had to cancel one room last minute and that was no problem - she even gave us a discount. The rooms were clean although the carpet could use some cleaning. We didn't eat at the pizzeria but stopped in and it was very clean. All the staff was friendly. We didn't bring pets but this hotel is accomodating for pets - they have certain rooms that are pet and smoker friendly. And their doggy Randy is adorable and will love on you as long as you will let her! Overall very pleasant experience. read more

A friend and I stayed here overnight, after hiking all day out of the Grand Canyon. It was perfect, and the themed room made it a fun experience! The service was beyond friendly and welcoming! Kevin checked us out in the morning, and his son checked us in the night before. They are both really good people! The room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water. It was absolutely affordable too, considering all of the amenities. If you're expecting an extravagant resort style hotel, this isn't it. I landed here on a long road trip and got the cutest Betty Boop room and then locked my keys in the car. The manager Kevin could not have been nicer and more helpful. Though we didnt get in to my car until the morning after I woke up we did finally get it open!. The bed was great, the room clean and warm. The old Americana style motel is a lost enterprise but alive and kicking at this little spot. The kindness of a stranger was heart warming. Support this little treasure on route 66. read more

Pretty nice spot to stay, and the mural work in the themed rooms is amusing. The informal Italian restaurant and bar on site are a definite plus. Our room was clean and neat, with a decent bed and good hot water. Insulation between the rooms is very good, so you don't hear your neighbors. The only sound were the passing trains, several each hour all night, but that is an issue anywhere in Seligman (or Kingman, for that matter). At least they generally avoided blowing their horns! Mid-winter, the room was very cold when we arrived, and took a couple of hours to warm up. So you might want to unpack, turn up the wall heater, and go grab dinner and/or a drink before climbing into bed. There is no coffee maker in the room, although there is a microwave and refrigerator. So bring your own coffee if you want it! As others have said, the staff are local, friendly, helpful folks. I would stay here again. read more

We were having a very pleasant eclectic experience. The staff was friendly and the Pizza joint and bar pretty much alive on a Saturday night with karaoke and locals dancing to classic western music. We stayed at the Parisian Night room, which wasn't especially tidy and welcoming but the sheets looked clean and ok for 1 night, all until I woke up the next morning with bug bites on my arm and thighs. read more

We (my family and I) stayed at this hotel for 1 night only. It was cold, but fortunately there were thick blankets. But still we were freezing a bit. The hotel was a funny original place. The staff were friendly and smiling and very helpful. We ( my husband and I) enjoyd staying there and will stay here again next time we come by. My son and daughter-in-law did not like it at all. I pulled in to the parking lot and noticed there's a train behind the motel. Was a little nervous at the train would keep me awake. I was pleasantly surprised the room was fabulous and the train was very quiet, no whistling or loud sounds, no trembling of the building. I stayed in the hunters room. Very nice! read more

A train right next to you which didn't bother me at all. The kids had a cars themed room. We had teens and they could not stop laughing. Gift shop adorable, owners couldn't be nicer. My family and I did a road trip last year from Los Angeles Ca to the Grand Canyon , and made the mistake of stop here since we did Route 66. The rooms are dusty as hell, my son suffers from allergies so he couldn't stop coughing or sneezing so he had to sleep in the car ,creepy people work at the pizza parlor spot next to the hotel. Instead of getting a hi greeting when we arrived we got a why y'all stop on Seligman. Wth seriously? Went to the bar next to the pizza spot to have a beer and no one offered service until I walked to the bar. Don't stop here folks sleep in the car I bet is more comfortable. The rooms are dirty. Found numerous bugs in the room. Stained sheets and towels. Bathroom was gross. Barely any water pressure. The water has a bad smell and taste. Manager gave the spare key to my room to a guest who was checking in, the man walked into my room right as I was getting ready to get in the shower, very awkward for both of us. No breakfast at the hotel. No coffee pot in room. The hotel is old and falling apart. Don't expect to have maid service. Watched the manager having to give several guests new bedding and towels after they checked in because of the stains. If you are going to stay here I recommend getting a tetanus shot first. Avoid at all costs! If I could give it ZERO stars I would. read more

Wow, I just really don't know what's happened with this place. I've stayed here dozens of times in the past over several years, and the service was always a delight. There seems to be a Jekyl and Hyde situation going on with the owners. The wife is a delight, I'm always warmly greeted and it's a wonderful experience. Then there's the husband. I've only met him twice, both within the past two weeks, and frankly, I've never met a more belligerent, combative, and argumentative business owner. Good heavens, after the last encounter, I stopped in again to give them a second chance. I ended up shaking my head in disbelief as the treatment was even ruder than the first encounter, and finally just gave up and went into town for the Deluxe Inn. This is a real shame. They've worked hard to build their business, the motel is nice, but you can't treat your customers like dirt this way. What can I say. The wife is wonderful, but heaven help you if the husband is there. I sure hope they get their act together. After probably 25 times staying here, I'll never be back. I'll sleep in the vehicle before I do that again with that guy. read more

Great cheap motel with quirky, thoughtfully decorated rooms and courteous and helpful staff. Our room was "Betty Boop" themed with lots of cool vintage art. I give this place 5 stars for the excellent value and comfort & cleanliness. We got caught near Flagstaff without a reservation on a Saturday night and everything in Williams and Flagstaff was $230 or more. For under $60 with taxes included and free coffee and pastries in the morning we couldn't have been happier! read more

In the morning they offer complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, tea, oatmeal and honey buns. He even tells you to take more for the road and shares places to take the kids and good places to eat at. He told us that the movie cars is inspired by the town. If we are ever around town we will definitely stay here! read more

I stopped here on my cross country trip from CA to FL because they accepted pets. The owner was very nice and gave us several sets of keys so that we could choose from one of his signature rooms. He had a Roy Rogers room with an old country feel and a Harley Davidson room complete with an actual motorcycle on the wall and panties and bra strewn on the lamp. Of course we chose the Harley room and we really enjoyed the decor. We went right across the parking lot to the Pizza Joint also owned by the same gentleman as the motel. There they had live country music and some great food at a reasonable price. The buffalo wings and homemade cheese cake are really good! read more

For those of us who have backpacked across Europe, or traveled by using Hostels, this place gives a lot of the social feel of the Hostel experience while allowing you a clean comfortable room with a ton of character. This is a Motel that is attached to a bar and restaurant, and there is a great social atmosphere in the bar and restaurant where you can meet people from all over the world chat and make new friends. The best part is that the food is really good. The chef takes care and pride in preparing the food. The salad was an unexpected surprise with fresh greens and vegetables well cut. The pizza is really very good, and if at all possible The smoked prime rib was perfectly cooked, and had great smoke. After road food for a few days, you will really appreciate this. Another reason to stop here is it is well located. The best in most scenic portion of route 66 lies between Seligman and Kingman, but I assure you, you want to make this trip during the daytime. You also should spend some time in Seligman which was my favorite little town along route 66. People are really putting time in effort here, and it is worth a long look. So I would recommend getting into town and spending the night here, there is a bar, friendly people, fellow travelers and you can just walk back to your hotel at the end of the night. So be sure to come here, have a bit of a party, enjoy Seligman, and sleep in a clean comfortable room. This town is a great place to stage the rest of your journey. read more

Great place to stay. Clean rooms, the bed was comfy and the staff is so friendly. We just needed a place to sleep on our way to hike Havasupai Falls and found this online. The reviews were good so this is where we stayed. We're all glad we did. (There is a train that rolls thru every so often in the night that you'll hear.) The Pizza Joint has AMAZING pizza!
