This reveiw is for Rita's Cafe which is in the back of the casino. Cheap, large portions (especially the 1/2 order of bis n gravy) . Clean, friendly, basic service. Nothing over top amazing. If you get a chance order the wet fries, whcih are french fries with brown gravy poured over top. Delish........Only negative, you have to walk through smoke filled casino to get to Rita's. I've been through beatty many times on the way to Arizona. This is the first time I've stayed here. I had low expectations because, well, its beatty. I was surprised at how clean my room was. The staff was helpful and nice. I like to look at rooms before I pay for them and the first one I looked at had a strong smell of carpet cleaner (I have asthma and certain smells just bother me lol) so I looked at another one and it wasn't so smelly. The picture quality on the tv in the room is not the best, but like I said, low expectations. For being in beatty I would say this is a pretty good hotel. They do not offer shampoo, conditioner, or soap in the rooms though, which i thought was strange. but i always travel with my own so no biggie for me. they do have a pool and a jacuzzi. read more

@ Ritas Cafe. An hour and 26 minutes for a salad is entirely too long. 20 minutes to get the beer I ordered. Everyone that arrived after us were served and gone before our food arrived. Asked the waitress what the hold up was and she said not her, the cook forgot us. Just blame someone else. On my way from Reno to Las Vegas I saw the lights and gave it a try. Checking in after 10pm is very inconvenient. You have to check in at the cashiers window. If you are pulling a trailer or have a truck, you have to park across the highway and literally run across the highway to the hotel. The room was small and the bathroom was WAY small., the little sink "cove" in the bathroom has barley enough room to set down your toothpaste and toothbrush. The toilet is so close to the wall you almost have to sit sideways on it. No vending and the ice machine is upstairs, down two hallways and then go outside. The TV in the room is old style tube a and after a hour of watching it, it got snow on the screen and I had to tap the picture tube to get the picture back again. The hotel itself is alright , the prices are good but I guess the saying "you get what u pay for" is really shown here . We slept with our entire bodies covered just in case , sweats and hoodies with our hoods up! I don't believe the rooms are up to code because there are 2 outlets in the entire room and none near the bed for our cell phones . Good this was a one night stay . read more

An inexpensive well located place with a nice pool. But...beds are not great AND have plastic sheets under thin mattress pads making for a crinkly uncomfortable place to sleep. Our sheets weren't tucked in all the way, mattress pad shifted up, and we were on plastic. read more

This place is a dive, it is a major dump, the hotel or better called scumtel is nasty, the rooms are dirty, the doors do not seal right, stopped in late to try and catch a few winks before moving on and at 9:00am the housekeeping staff was rolling their cleaning carts over the wooden walkway making a noise so loud no one could sleep the construction work started at 9:30am where they were banging on the walls, the food is sub par the casino is not even worth the time, do not stay in this pit, and those who rated this 4 and 5 stars and love this hole need to have their brains and eyes checked, this is one of the bottom places to stay in Beatty read more

My husband and I stayed here while visiting Death Valley. I am extremely picky about hotels, so I was a bit worried. Overall though, I had a very pleasant stay. The room was fairly large, and there was an extra sink outside the bathroom which made it easy for me to get ready while my husband was also getting ready. It appears to be nicer than the hotels in the park, and a much better value. The bed was not that great, but it was ok and there was no plastic or crinkly noise another reviewer mentioned. The air conditioner worked fine and the room was clean, although basic. The staff was also nice. I would stay here again if I come back to this area. read more

Waited over an hour. We were told multiple times we were next, manager is checking. We had to ask for watch/coke refills. Finally walked out to the manager saying your is up next. I admit, I've never actually stayed in this hotel and casino. However, I have stopped here multiple times on my trips from Reno to Las Vegas. This hotel and casino is Located in Beatty. It sits next to a local pit stop that has gas and snacks for travelers in the state of Nevada. this hotel and casino offers travelers a Denny's to grab food at and smells only slightly of smoke. The interior is also decently decorated. The pit stop next door also has a subway to offer travelers a variety of food choices. But it's not its proximity to gas and food that made me love this place; what really clenched my love of this hotel and casino is the quilted, two-ply toilet paper. One can't ask for more than a cushy and satisfying wipe! read more

No hot water in the morning, I don't know if they turn the hot water off and back on at a certain time, but at 6.30 am there was no hot water! also, the pool gate is loose so if you stay in a room by the pool, (we were in room 118 ) you will hear a loud banging of the pool gate every time someone leaves or enters, very disturbing. I'd stay here again. Rooms were OK. I'm not a big gambler but would have played a little in the casino, as well as had a few drinks, but the place smelled of cigarette smoke so bad, that it kept most of our group away. Just walking into the front door to check in, was a bad experience. I saw some air purifiers as well as signage, that talked about what was being done to solve the smoke problem. It isn't working... I'm guessing that the property lost out on another $200 of revenue from my wife and me, during our stay, because we wouldn't walk in the place. Most of our group of 18 had similar comments. We wouldn't even go inside to check out, giving our keys to someone else that was walking in the door. Years of travel over through different countries, and the smell of this place was probably the worst. Again, the room was acceptable, employees were friendly, and the outdoor hot tub was enjoyable. read more
