If you go, make sure you order the Cajun oysters that they cook on the grill. They are on the half sheel, with some seasoning--OMG are they good. I usually eat a dozen in about 90 seconds and I am trying to take my time. This last trip -Halloween night-- I ordered 1/2 dozen and the waitress asked what was a wrong with me? You know that won;t work, she said, get the dozen. I did and she was right..Yum. Their dozen is 13 to 15 oysters. I watched as the oysters were cooking and was actually drooling this last visit. The taste just lingers in my body. I could go on, but it is a great restaurant to eat and chat, the cook loves to talk college football, he is big Alabama supporter. Maybe if you opened up your restaurant and bar that just seem to be wasted unused space, you might be able to up your game and compete. The little cigar shop sits within a 1 to 3 minute walk from 6 restaurants. You on the other hand stay isolated on Grant street and don't seem to put out an effort to draw any attention to yourself for new customers. I ordered three sides ~ mashed sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and collards. Mom loved her cheesy soup and I left not a jot of my yumminess. All Steak is gorgeous ~ and on this cold day we truly appreciated the warmth not only in the decorating but also in spirit. Mark is an excellent waiter and made sure our coffee (deep flavor, ceramic mugs, soooo good) and bread basket never faltered. All Steak still sends you off with orange rolls (even if you just finished off a huge (shared) portion of bread pudding). Delightful and delicious. I'm glad this old standard is still around!
