It sucks, but I have to update my review. My first experience w/Stairhopper was so positive that I didn't bother shopping around when I needed movers again; I just called them back. This was another same-location move (swapping two rooms within an apartment), & it seemed like it should be a fairly straightforward job: empty Room 1 into the hall, put the rug down in Room 1, move large furniture from Room 2 into Room 1, put rugs down in Room 2, bring furniture from hall into Room 2, & take a few things down to the basement. I'm not sure if the difference was a) having a different 2-person team; b) the fact that last time my fiancé (a dude) was home while the move was taking place, whereas this time it was just me (a woman holding a baby); or c) some combination of the two. Or maybe the guy who seemed to be in charge was just pissed because, at the last minute, he wanted to come 2+ hours before the beginning of the start window we'd booked and I had to say, "Sorry, we won't be home again until the scheduled time." Who knows. In any case, here are the major differences: 1) This team was way, WAY less careful with our stuff. The guy in charge tried to lean a mattress up against an oil painting hanging on the wall--seriously?! They were unphased by the sounds of splintering veneer as they moved a dresser around, and when they broke a small lamp, they didn't say "Sorry" or even "Ooops," just "Oh." (I mean, it's a small reading lamp; it's not a big deal, but at least manage to say more than "Oh" & then leave it on the floor.) They also seemed to think I was a nut for wanting my rugs evenly lined up with the rug pads, instead of thrown down sloppily askew. 2) The guy in charge was civil, & the other guy was actually pretty nice, but they just *did not* want to listen to me, at all. This ranged from my having to answer the same questions about what was moving where several times (& having to stop things that weren't supposed to move from being moved) to insisting on doing the move piecemeal instead of emptying one room first. I don't know if it just seemed like too much work to carry stuff the extra ~20 feet, or if they didn't want to leave our air conditioned apartment, or what, but this led to a lot of complicated shifting & reshifting. I get that they're professional movers and I'm just some random woman, so what do I know about process--oh, right, I know that if they'd taken that mattress into the hall, they wouldn't have tried to lean it against an oil painting. 3) This is the part that really gets me: There were a couple of things that they just *refused to move*. The first was a small desk--when asked where it was going, I said either one of two places (& that I'd have to see, because I wasn't sure the first place was going to work). Sure enough, the first spot didn't work, but the guy refused to move the desk to the other room! He kept arguing with me, insisting that the desk could go under the other window where the a/c is. I finally agreed just because I didn't want to pay $99/hr to argue with someone, & the whole thing was making me really uncomfortable, but FFS: a desk placed so that your face is 12" from an a/c unit while you sit there is unusable as a desk. The other issue was the big area rug (8' x 11') in the living room. Once all the furniture was in there, it was clear that the rug was in the wrong place. I asked them if they could move the rug--which, yes, would have necessitated moving three pieces of furniture--and the guy just said, "We'd have to move the [larger] desk." "Okay," I said. (I mean, they're on the clock; yes, I know I'll have pay for the time.) But he just repeated himself, like I was stupid & didn't get it: "We'd have to move the desk." And that's how it went every time we had the conversation, up until the point where the guy is pressuring me to sign the papers saying everything is done and all good. Even then, I'm saying, "Well, I'd really like that rug moved," & he's saying, "We'd have to move the desk. So everything is done, RIGHT?" What I should have said was NO, IT IS NOT DONE, YOU ARE *MOVERS*, PLEASE MOVE THE DAMN RUG. But I didn't. I gave in & signed the stupid papers, and I paid what they asked (a whopping 15 min over the minimum time!), and I even tipped, because that's just what you do when people are performing manual labor at your request, I guess. Then I took all the drawers out of the smaller desk & dragged it into the other room myself (despite an injury & doctor's orders not to lift anything). And after that, I texted my neighbors--a lovely lady & her lovely captain-of-the-rugby-team husband--who came to help me with the area rug mess. It took Rugby Captain Neighbor & us two amateurs less than an hour to get the living room rug in the right place, and all I could get them to take in exchange for it was a couple of beers. tl;dr: Next time I need movers, I'll start my search over again. Amazing service at a reasonable rate! The movers were fantastic! Julio, Oscar and Sabastian. All were exceptionally polite, respectful, professional, and very hardworking! Our move entailed multiple stops and some very fragile antique furniture. Pickup was simple but the next stop, a 3 story condo, entailed both delivery and placement of furniture plus pick up and move out of other pieces. Final stop was a storage unit. The pricing model was very simple and understandable. Pricing is based on time -- not weight or number of stops which was a key factor in our decision to go with Stairhoppers. We got a number of other bids, but all the "extras" of extra stop, glass doors, extra miles, etc etc added up and created confusion. The simple price structure at Stairhoppers was clear and "clean". Yes, a few extras for supplies, but very manageable. A nominal deposit is required to book the appointment. The "billing" time starts from when the movers leave from the Charlestown location and ends when they return to base (sensible). Also, a discount is offered for cash payment on the balance due on moving day (Nice!). The movers showed up on time and immediately got to work. They packed our antique furniture with care and precision. Julio creatively constructed packaging of blankets and spare cardboard to protect various glass doors at no extra cost. Brilliant! Sabastian needed to take apart a huge oak desk which he did with ease! WOW! The guys never stopped - constantly wrapping furniture and moving it out to the truck. They were done in record time! Then @ 2 hours north.... Delivery to our condo was wonderful. They guys took special care placing each item in the condo ensuring things were placed exactly where we wanted them, other items were not damaged and rugs were protected. I wanted one bedframe moved from one floor to another -- Oscar noted the headboard was loose. I assured him that was a known issue, not a result of the move. He then pulled out his tools and FIXED IT! Talk about going over and above! The condo is 3 levels with items going to every level including a freezer to the lowest level. Sabastian and Julio needed to bring it around the outside of the building through the SNOW, down the back and in through the lower deck. Awesome and amazing. Then off to the storage unit. Sabastian is a magician... he packed in all the storage items with care and attention to detail. His comprehensive and professional understanding of space and placement is impressive! Everything fit and there is room for maneuvering as needed. Oscar, Sabastian, and Julio were each amazing and special adding value to the service provided. We wanted to adopt them. They were in constant motion, working as a well oiled and efficient team. The guys worked very quickly yet with care and attention to details. We were very happy and very impressed. We STRONGLY recommend Stairhoppers if you are looking to move. The business model is clear and simple. But the real differentiator is the staff -- just AMAZING! read more

I'm not easily impressed and, having worked for a few moving companies during summers in college, know there's a wide range of professionalism out there in the industry. I've also had 8 moves in the past 12 years, so I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly from a customer perspective. I have to say that Stairhoppers is the most professional moving organization that I've worked with thus far. Their sales and operations office was open and transparent as far as the quoting process went (Stairhopper was not the least expensive of the 4 quotes I got), and they were extremely accommodating on the day of my move. First off, I was under the gun to be in my new place by 5:00 because the loading dock would be closed at that time. I found this out from my new residence- of course- the morning of my move. With Stairhopper due to arrive at my pickup location between 2:00-4:00 I knew that time was going to be very tight. I called Mona (their Operations guru) on moving day and explained the urgency, pleading that the crew come as close to 2:00 as possible. She did not make any promises, but called me back in 15 minutes to let me know that the crew would be there at 2:30. The crew showed up at 2:29 and went straight to work. I had feared that they might be tired from they're AM job, but all three guys were fresh, energetic, polite, and professional. I moved out of a brownstone (second floor walk-up) with narrow staircases and tight hallways. My one bedroom consisted of about 30 boxes, a tv, Bedroom set, queen bed, and living room set (that was going to a friend in a separate U-Haul). They never "forced" the furniture, which was padded for protection, but twisted and turned it to get it around the geometric and architectural anomalies that define Boston brownstones. The crew played tetris getting the couches and easy chair into my friends' rented U-Haul, as well as a TV, without any major delay. The Stairhopper truck was clean, organized with pads and extra boxes, and in good working order. All of my belongings were well-secured. It's obvious that the company takes pride in its attention to detail. Upon arrival at the new apartment, they quickly unloaded and had my bed set back up in no time. There were no broken or damaged items. Total time for the move was 3 hours. My girlfriend, who had moved the day prior using a different company, was extremely jealous of the white glove treatment I received as a Stairhopper customer. She couldn't believe how fast they were. The guys were top-notch. They were very appreciative of the well-earned tip, and Stairhopper has my business for the next move! read more

A while back, I had a severed relationship and needed to get out FAST. So, without much time (the loser gave me less than 36 hours!), I was stressed, bawling, ready to have a nervous breakdown, and even considered just skipping town and leaving my possessions behind just to annoy him. I work in Dirty-E, and most of my co-workers live in Chelsea or Meffa. Asking someone to mosey on down to the Ave on a Wednesday night (middle of the week!) wasn't gonna happen. Since I knew I couldn't get co-workers, I wasn't too hopeful about getting movers, either. Literally, with tears of stress running down my cheeks, I checked online. As you might expect, looking on Craigslist for movers (or anything for that matter) in Boston is a little creepy. Sorry but as a young, 20-something girl, I'm not very interested in having some strange dude come move me for "super cheap and maybe even free if you're nice." Seriously?!? I have no desire to have my life made into another Lifetime movie about Craigslist killers......... To take my mind off this crap, I got on Yelp to check out places to chill the weekend after my move. At that point, I had a duh moment to check for movers down by the Ave. Sitting in the Top 5 of results, I found Stairhoppers. These guys got almost 5 stars AND traveled down to the area! Even better, they have extended hours...til 9pm, Monday-Saturday, which is awesome since I work all day and take forever to get back to the Ave from Everett! That right there, combined with stellar reviews, is what made my decision to choose Stairhoppers. These days, I wonder where these people have been all my life! I really could have used them ESPECIALLY when I moved TO Boston. Not sure how long they've been in business, but their professionalism and customer service make them seem as though they've been in The Boss for decades. For me, they came through during an extremely stressful time. This whole thing sounded too good to be true, so I gave them a call. Turns out not only was everything I found on Yelp correct, but also they also do interstate moves (so it doesn't take forever and a day) AND can do same-day or next day moves! Half the time you can't even get a U-Haul in the same day, yet these people will come get your stuff FOR YOU....and with very little notice. Love this place and would def recommend again. If I weren't in TN right now (staying with fam), I'd call them to come move me again in a few months when I will be ready. Definitely worth every penny. (The only downside is that now that I'm so spoiled by these guys, I'm gonna hold future movers to a higher standard! LOL!) read more

These guys are AMAZING!! I called on a Saturday and they were ready for me Monday. My dumbass however was not ready and I spend way too much of the night Sunday into the early morning Monday trying to clean and repair. Because of that, I didn't wake up on time. In fact I woke up several hours later on my couch confused until I realized I was a total idiot and freaked out. My move was to clear the final items within my mother's house, after caregiving for her all last year at mine. My mother passed away at my house at end of the year . Needless to say it's been a difficult time. Stairhoppers of course had to charge me for having missed my move (board movers drove a huge truck all the way from Boston down to the South shore and waited for me, and then left in a timely manner so as to not end up having to charge me more). I was a wreck when I called them at 10:30 on Monday. Olivia was so sweet and amazing. She calmed me down and scheduled the move for the very next day. Upon arriving at my mother's house on Tuesday my four movers were there and ready to go. They were all very kind, understanding, helpful, and so organized, expedient, and just straight up amazing. In the process of missing my move over that 24 hours, I needed to change the drop off of a upright piano. The accommodated me immediately, without any new charges of any kind even adding a new address and stop. That stop was super easy and quick (for me at least, I can't imagine how these guys lift so many heavy awkward objects endlessly and keep chugging along quickly with no complaints... I was broken by the end of the day and they did all the hard work). We then moved on to the final destination of the house I have north of Boston. They unloaded the truck in less than an hour. In that hour they also assembled everything that they had broken down at my mother's house including several pieces of antique furniture. They were great and amazing. I also super appreciate that the company attempted to help me in price, as they offer a five percent discount if you pay everything in cash. Unfortunately banks SUCK, as do I, in respect to the fact that they won't let you take out large sums of money at ATMs and unfortunately I have a credit union that doesn't have a lot of local bank branches. We have moved 3 times in the last 7 years and by far this was the most complicated move, and thanks to Stairhoppers, the easiest of the 3. We had a 4 stop out-of state move that required a pick up from our storage facility, then another large load picked up at our old house. One day and 9 states later, a stop to unload at our new house then a final stop at our new storage facility to empty the truck. From my first phone call with Carmen (one of 5 quotes I got for this move), to her final call a day after our move was completed (to check in with us), I was impressed by the professionalism and cheerfulness of everyone we dealt with. Our wonderful (polite and very fast) moving team was headed up by Alex. Alex was with us throughout the two day move including both pickups and dropoffs. His team loaded our heavy boxes and furniture from our fourth floor (stairway only) apartment on a day of pouring rain (and lightning). Alex called us the night before the delivery at our new house and the next day they drove up at 7:00 am as planned. They were driving away to deliver the final load to our new storage facility by 9:00 am. Our furniture was all placed correctly in the new house, and they had put our bed together as well as set up our outdoor swing chair. Unpacking is now complete and all of our things are in pristine condition, not one thing was damaged or nicked. To highlight the positive points: * I called 5 companies for quotes on this move and Stairhopper had the BEST price. *The final cost was the SAME COST initially quoted to me! *All communication with the company was positive and helpful *The moving team was on time at both ends of the trip *They worked really fast and efficiently *Every single person we interacted with from Stairhopper was very pleasant and professional. *With this complicated move EVERYTHING ended up in the correct place *Nothing was broken, damaged or lost in this move. To highlight the negative: We had not used Stairhoppers on our previous moves. We overpaid for our last two moves with a very well known giant moving company, thinking a high price meant great service, and that was not the case. Planning a move? I am a little bit late in writing our review for Stairhopper Movers, but we've been busy unpacking and getting our new apartment set-up! Anyway, we hired Stairhopper Movers for our recent move from Boston to Chicago. Stairhoppers was neither the most expensive quote nor the cheapest--they were right in range with a couple of others. We chose Stairhoppers for the ease with working with them to get an estimate online as well as throughout the time leading up to the move. Also, a $500 deposit is required for scheduling a move date. The crew (three guys) arrived on time on the day of the move. Juan was the lead/foreman for our move. He was very easy to work with, and ensured the move went smoothly. We packed and prepared our apartment for the move--we got a compliment from Juan saying we did a good job, and did much better than many customers who said they would do all their packing. The packing of the truck took longer than we expected (based on prior moves) BUT the truck was organized extremely well. I also felt the crew took great care in handling our belongings. For those of you who do not know how cross-country moves work, let me tell you it was a learning experience for us. The crew loading the truck is local except for our driver, Jose, who then drove our belongings cross country. Our pick up was Monday, and delivery in Chicago was Wednesday morning (two day express delivery is what Stairhoppers called it). We met Jose and the crew mid-morning Wednesday at our apartment. So the two crew members are local to Chicago. Stairhoppers basically subcontract with local movers for labor. We had two stops in Chicago, the apartment and our storage unit, which made for a very long day. I am not sure how Jose did it--packing up the truck, driving, and delivering, then driving all the way back to Boston. Jose was fantastic, and we made sure we showed our appreciation via our gratuity. Just so you know, as other reviewers have mentioned, there is a 10% discount if one pays in cash. One-half of the payment is made after packing up the truck, and the other half is paid prior to delivery. read more

I had to move from Boston to Los Angeles at the beginning of May due to a family matter. After getting several quotes from different moving companies I have settled on Stairhopper Movers and I'm very happy I did so. They were cost competitive and communicated with me exceptionally well. From our first conversation they made me feel very secure using this company and assured me that my move would be great. Moving a 3 bedroom condo it's not easy considering I was not quite prepared for this move. Stairhoppers made it so much easier for me, starting with the office staff and ending with the movers. My relocation specialist, Eric, told me that once they give me a quote, that is the price, period, no changes, no surprise endings. As long as what I tell them was truthful. He was up front and honest about everything. As I start to describe all that I had, they suggested they needed to come by and view it in person. They came to my home and took inventory of everything and suggested ways for me to pack in order to keep the cost down. Everything was planned step by step, Eric was just great doing that, in order to time the packing and to be able to move me next day. All went smoothly. The moving truck came on time as promised. They worked non stop until all of our things were packed on the truck. Everything was wrapped in blankets and they were making sure everything it's ready for a long ride. Two weeks later, like we were scheduled, everything was delivered on time and I was not charged anything but my original quote. They unloaded everything where I told them to, unwrapped the furniture and cleaned up the plastic and paper and left. Not a single item was broken or scratched in any way. The movers were careful both with my belongings and with the destination apartment (which had new hardwood floor and paint). Most important to us was the follow up and assistance along the way of the office. Definitely recommended to anyone in need for a good, reliable and affordable mover. Here's another 5 star review for a company that doesn't need anymore! They moved our 2200 sqft house in NH to Tucson, AZ in the end of July, 2016 and they surpassed any and all expectations we had. The move went flawless and we have nothing but praise for the company. Our foreman was Calin and he did a terrific job at managing the move. We have moved about 5 times in the past 7 years and always did it myself. This move was 2,600 miles and I knew I had to find movers to help, but I was very worried about the whole process. There are big companies that promise the world to you, there are small companies that are pretty expensive, and then there is Stairhopper Movers -- the best rated, most affordable, and by far the most down-to-Earth company I spoke to. I first spoke to Diana on the phone and she set up the move logistics. On the day of the move, 3 of Stairhopper's workers showed up on time and spent 4-5 hours in 93 degree weather shrink-wrapping furniture and putting everything in a 26 ft truck. Even with the heat, they took their time to pack things properly and they always acted very professionally and polite (sometimes, even too polite to take a bottle of water from us!). Since we were also driving to AZ, we had them hold the packed truck for a few days to give us a head start. On the day of delivery, the truck arrived and 3 guys unpacked it in about 2 hours in 100 degree weather, putting the furniture and boxes anywhere we needed them and offering to set up furniture for us. We still have a lot of unpacking to do, but we have yet to find a single item that was damaged or broken during the move. If you're looking for movers, understand that the hundreds of 5-star reviews for Stairhopper Movers on Yelp aren't by accident -- they're earned. This company is professional, humble, and great at communicating (in e-mails, calls, and in person). They have great service at a great value. We've used Stairhoppers for our move and we are very happy we did so. We moved many times and this time was by far the best moving experience ever. They were referred to us by our lovely realtor who has been working with Stairhoppers for years now and they moved his entire family and dozens of his customers (from what we've heard) and every single time they've exceeded their expectations. We had a fabulous experience with them starting with Mona and Diana at the office who were very kind and knowledgeable and guided us through the entire moving process. The movers showed up on time on both days and start working right away, they were very organized. We had a very large move with very challenging antique pieces of furniture and artwork that required special crating. They packed us the day before and moved us the day after. Both, the packers and the movers were very friendly and experienced. They arrived on time on both days and packed and moved everything fast and with great care, including our grand father clock. We had a team of 4 movers (Mike, Elis, Andre and I believe Iannis) and 2 trucks. All 4 movers were uniformed, clean and good looking guys :). I also love their big green trucks with the jumping frog on them. It took us 12 hours to be moved but they worked with a smile on their face and the same positive attitude the entire time. They covered the floors at the new place and they were very careful with the walls. Everything was professionally packed in boxes and the all the furniture was wrapped in quilted moving blankets. They came very close to the estimate provided and as a note: they have very affordable rates. We moved many times long distance and local, we've used other moving companies but Stairhoppers was the BEST MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Top notch movers!!! I had to hustle up to Boston to help my one of my childhood friends move from Boston to New York. When I got to his house, everything was in total disarray and it seemed liked it'd be impossible to get all of his stuff from there to here. He told me that he'd hired some local movers in Boston and we started packing about two days before Stairhoppers was scheduled to start packing everything up. I suggested that we take a look at Stairhoppers' website to see if they had any tips because neither of us had any experience moving so many items in one shot. Stairhoppers broke down how we should pack specific items and make sure that everything was secure. We managed to finish half a day early and called the company to see if the movers would be able to come a bit earlier the next day. The dispatcher told us that the local movers could come two hours early and that my friend's stuff would arrive at his new place in New York on the same day. To our surprise, the movers from Boston arrived about an hour after we got to his new place in New York. They were quick and really efficient in getting everything out of their trucks safe and sound. When we unpacked, nothing had shifted in the boxes and everything was in perfect condition. In addition, the movers from Stairhoppers did not scratch the walls with my friend's furniture, despite the fact that the entryway barely fit his couch and bed. Although I don't have much experience helping people move, I have heard horror stories about local movers in Boston. Stairhoppers was a pleasant surprise and made the whole experience much easier. My husband and I just used Stairhoppers to move from Boston to Denver - this was not your simple, around the corner, local move. I was super anxious about the move, got multiple bids, and read many yelp reviews of all companies I looked at. Stairhoppers got great online reviews, their customer service (Mona) was extremely patient and responsive, and the fact that their quote was based on what would fit in a truck vs adjusted based on actual cubic volume helped ensure there were no surprises price-wise. I can't say enough about how amazing the experience was. The crew arrived exactly on time and the crew leader (Kalin) was not only courteous, well organized, careful with our belongings but smiled during the entire 7+ hours of carrying almost hundreds of boxes and heavy furniture from the 3rd floor, across a busy street and into the truck. He was also extremely patient while packing up the furniture and spent extra time removing slats on a bed that we didn't have the right tool for. He was also the one who drove the truck from Boston to Denver and after a very long day of driving he showed up chipper, friendly and smiling ready to unload the truck. It was so great to have the same person on both ends, raising my comfort level throughout the experience. And, as far as our belongings go - part of what was being transported were many precious items including my grandmother's Lenox china set, fragile Reidel wine glasses and expensive porcelain. After unpacking a gazillion boxes I found only one broken bowl (thankfully a non dear one). I would hire Stairhoppers again in a heartbeat and based on my experience, anyone else thinking about hiring them should seriously consider them. read more

Moving is always a difficult task. Everyone know's this. Moving yourself is always more difficult than hiring a moving company. I have moved 4 times over the past 6 years. Once, was by myself, the other three times were through a moving company. Not until my most recent move, was I able to see just how important a GREAT moving company can be. Stairhoppers brought me to this realization. Never before have I experienced such a professional, well organized and hard working team as the three Stairhoppers sent to my door. After arriving right on time, I gave the guys a tour of the apartment and before I could finish, half the apartment was packed up. Okay, well maybe not THAT fast but the team did get straight to work and did not to stop until the place was empty. Through out the entire process, each of the three were in the process of either carrying something out, wrapping something up or orgainizing items in the truck. Not a minute of time was wasted. I should note that this move occurred in the middle of the day in 95 degree heat. These guys were machines. I literally fueled them with water and they kept on motoring. I priced out 5 moving companies. Stairhopper's quote was the 2nd cheapest option. The only option cheaper was an inexperienced company with questionable Yelp feedback, so I went with Stairhoppers. I can tell you with 100% faith that there was nothing Stairhoppers could have done to improve the experience any further. Fantastic. With that said, I see no benefit in selecting one of the more expensive moving companies. The Stairhopper team will undoubtedly give you the best experience for the best price. We had such a great experience with Stairhoppers! I called THE DAY BEFORE we needed to move after our original movers fell through because of a date change, and Mona was able to fit us in for the following afternoon. I received an email confirmation after booking by phone, which I really appreciated. I am always concerned that appointments made by phone will somehow fall through the cracks, so I like to have a 'paper trail'. We were given a two hour window during which our movers would arrive with the truck, and they got to our apartment in Cambridge right at the start of the window. They worked very quickly and carefully and all of our belongings arrived at the new condo in Somerville unscathed (even though my husband and I are less-than-perfect packers...FAR less)! They dismantled our bedframe and put it back together in the new place and carried a cedar chest that I had filled with books, which probably weighed 300+lbs, without complaint. The most impressive feat, however, was the disassembly of our massive elliptical trainer which would not fit out the door of the old apartment. We were almost sure we would have to leave it behind (which would have meant $1200 down the drain). It took us several days and a whole hell of a lot of elbow grease to put the thing together, and they were able to, creatively, partially disassemble it to get it out the door and on the truck to its new home in probably 15 - 20 minutes. Stairhoppers already offered fantastic rates without hidden fees, but on top of that, I purchased a Yelp deal which saved me an addtional $30. It's been a while since we last moved and we certainly amassed a lot of belongings since then! When checking with moving companies, the costs were going to be pretty high, so with a bunch of quotes in hand we revisited our list of stuff we were taking with us and gave away some unwanted items but overall nothing we wouldn't throw anyway on a spring clean. Moving from Boston to Arizona for a new job was a huge decision alone and choosing what to take with us was tough too. We figured that Stairhopper Movers offered us the best chance to take as much as possible within the budget my company had allowed for moving expenses. They did exactly what they said they would, for the money I had available in my budget. My wife and kids went ahead to stay in a hotel until our stuff arrived and left me back at the old house to deal with the movers. There was nothing to do except watch the Stairhoppers guys expertly pack and move my stuff and lock up after they left. I was expecting to have to direct them or manage the move somehow but they obviously knew what they were doing so I left them to it! Within just a couple of days, all our belongings were offloaded at our new home and unpacked, with all the packing debris removed. It was a fantastic feeling having all our things in our new home intact, without any fuss or bother and a team of really helpful and friendly people who delivered the moving service. I could not believe how quickly my family could relocate. Stairhopper Movers really deserve some credit for making what for me was a scary move, into a well-engineered relocation.
