The journey has been outstanding from beginning to end; initial contact with the office, the estimate, the installation, and the billing went without a hitch. In less than a week, we have two new chairlifts, enabling my mother to access our entire house and the outside world. So, some specifics. Everyone associated with this business is knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. Scott's estimate was precise, and he even removed the old chairlifts at no cost as a part of the service. Mike and Dan, the installers, were prompt and, working together, found the best way to install the two units with every piece of packaging removed when the installation was complete. Mike stayed to do the demonstration, and his instructions could not have been clearer explaining the operation and maintenance of the units. Mike answered all of our questions, reviewing the particulars as many times as we needed to hear them. He also, multiple times, encouraged us to call with any questions or issues that might come up; this went far in reassuring us as clients that this company stands behind its product. Outstanding! Not realizing that this item would not be taxed as it is medically necessary, I didn't have a prescription from the doctor. As soon as I emailed it to Linda in the office, she immediately adjusted our bill. People tend to spend time complaining when things don't go well. I really cannot say enough good things about this company! At a time I have been dealing with so many contractors and companies that required three or four phone calls to either get a response or rectify some mistake, Williams has been a Godsend. That's the big difference between a large corporation and a family business. These folks have pride in what they do and they do it well. From the initial contact with the front office, through several scheduling and rescheduling issues, they were patient, kind, efficient, and competent. Both Dennis, who did the measuring, and Dan, who did the install, were extremely knowledgeable, able to answer my questions, and worked within the timeframe they estimated. They communicated at every turn, letting me know when they were on their way as a courtesy. Dan even helped me carry a chair that had nothing to do with my stair lift simply because he is a gentleman and a great human being.
