Based on recommendations I found on line, I called Downeast Doors, which has locations in South Portland and Freeport. John, the business owner, returned my call within ten minutes, and was at my home within twenty minutes. Within 40 minutes of arrival, he diagnosed and repaired both doors, each of which had different problems. The doors are vintage 1995, about 30 years old. I am delighted that he could show up that quickly, that he was capable of diagnosing and repairing in short order, and- a bonus- he is a very good guy.
