After shopping several local businesses and the internet we found the best deal at M T Pools in Lisbon, ME. Today we still get our water tested and purchase ALL of our chemicals and pool replacement parts from them. The customer service is great and the prices are excellent! Did not clean as advertised took it back no later than 4 hours later. Brunswick store refused to return it because they state it does work and we are just doing it incorrectly. After explaining how it does NOT work and that we read directions carefully and tried it several times... they told us they could do nothing and we had to call the 800 number, which they were closed at that point. Next day, call 800 number, was told it was in fact NOT a 'CLEANER' but a machine that is used for maintenance in between cleanings. Advertised incorrectly, and whoever sold it to her in Lisbon told her incorrectly. they assured her it would pick up big leaves and Anything that was in the pool. IT definitely does not. We have been fighting with them for a week now and they STILL Refuse to let us return it because they 'might' not get their money back from the manufacturer. What happened to customer service and keeping customers happy? I am VERY upset that now my mother is out $600 for a junk piece of metal that will not work in her pool. $600 might not be a lot for a pool company but it is for a senior living off of disability. Will continue to fight to return this and find someone that maybe will help her since no one cares about customers so far that we have dealt with.

First, they gave me a business card which had a different company name than what Thumbtack has listed, and it had a different phone number. Name of the guy on Thumbtack who was supposed to visit was Elmer. The guy who showed up was Edvin with a business card having a different company name and a different phone number and he had very limited language skills. So there was something fishy going on. Second, there was a large trailer attached to his truck that had a lawn mower, a blower, various tools for basic gardening and yard work. He didn't even have a proper measuring tool to measure a surface lot with. He only had a basic measuring tape that you'd use to measure a cupboard. There was every indication that these guys were a "mow and blow" crew and didn't know much else.

We selected the electric controlled roll shutter product. From our initial contact with Steve through frequent contact with the project foreman and wonderful installers, the project couldn't have gone better. The local showroom displays all the products to view, and the custom installation looks great. The shutters also seem to be excellent quality. Before the order was sent to the factory, the installers came out to review it to make sure of any special challenges or material that would be required. After installation, which they worked around our schedules, they were careful to explain proper use and maintenance as well. It is obvious that this company takes great pride in their business, and realize that customer service and recommendations mean everything. We are very pleased, and look forward to the shutter protection during storm season.
