We initially saw one of their posts online and came to check out a car. While inspecting the car Derek had introduced him and answered all of our questions. We never felt pressured during the whole experience. We ended up with a newer model of the car we were originally interested in and couldn't be more happy with our purchase. We were able to test drive the vehicle and Derek made us aware of some solid safety features we weren't aware of. We were also able to trade in our previous car for value towards our new purchase. Abram in the financial department made it a straight forward experience and we were to go over all our financial options and make adjustments as needed. I do recommend them for the experience provided. The cars are sold as and are competitively priced to move.

Before I purchased the car, I was told it had been inspected and was in good condition. However, I took it to my own mechanic the very next day, and they found several major issues, including a leaking valve cover gasket, a leaking oil filter housing, and worn engine mounts that needed to be replaced. The dealership told me I had five days to bring the car back for them to fix any problems or return it. I called the very next day to report the issues and brought the car back. Fabio came outside, and I showed him the oil leaks. Instead of honoring the five-day policy, he tried to convince me to use the extended warranty I had purchased to pay for the repairs. Fabio was also very rude and dismissive. I felt like he did not take my concerns seriously. My impression was that he assumed I didn't know anything about cars because I am a woman. Rather than listening to the problems I was showing him, he brushed them off. I asked to speak with the manager, but the manager refused to come out and speak with me. I couldn't believe a manager would not even take the time to address a customer who had just purchased a vehicle and immediately found serious mechanical issues. Instead of trying to make things right, they were willing to lose the sale rather than fix the problems. Since they refused to repair the vehicle, my only option was to return it. I really wanted to keep the car, so I tried to use the extended warranty instead. That's when I found out the repairs were not covered at all, so I did not have to pay the deductible because the claim was denied. I feel like I was sold a warranty that was of no help for the problems the car already had. The only positive part of my experience was my salesman, Lawrence. He was professional, helpful, and excellent throughout the buying process. Unfortunately, the way the dealership handled everything after the sale completely overshadowed that positive experience. At this point, I question whether the vehicle was actually inspected before it was sold. Either the inspection was not done properly, or the serious issues with the vehicle were overlooked. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Drive Mart in Sanford. I am now left dealing with costly repairs on a car that I was told had been inspected. This was the worst car-buying experience I have ever had.
