Wash your clothes by hand if you must, but avoid using this service at all cost. My clothes were not only not ready by their promise time, but they were at the wrong location, returned in their original condition, and I was NOT refunded. Absolutely disgraceful. 3/25/24: As a first time customer, I went to the Westfield st location to clean two white coats for work (I'm a registered pharmacist). Upon entering the location, I was greeted with an extremely cold energy, courtesy of the front lady Tiana. There was no acknowledgment, which is fair as there was a lady in front of me. I waited in line as I watched her handle the customer in front of me attentively and sweetly for over 10min. No problems, however, when it was my turn, it was clear there was a shift in her mannerisms. She avoided eye contact, took personal phone calls while handling me, and was all around disrespectful in my opinion. As a young black professional, I pay attention to these behaviors especially when they are so sharply different from what I saw with the previous lady (white, middle age). She assured me my coats would be ready for pickup the following day at 4:30pm. Fast forward to today, 3/26/24. I get to the location and the delivery man / co-owner it seems, Rodrigo. Takes my name and notifies me that they made a mistake, and my coats are still at the cleaning location. He gave me his number and said he would pick them up and bring them, but it was close to closing, and I had a feeling this was NOT a reliable business. I followed him to the location just for him to walk out, shoulders shrugged, cowardly muttering "Looks like we couldn't get to them tonight" holding my two dirty coats. I made it clear that this was unacceptable, and he offers the first half-cooked apology I received this whole experience and a "cash app" refund. In my discussing of this unprofessionalism, Rodrigo had what appeared to be a mild breakdown as he discussed the stress he's been under with two daughters, one of which he felt the need to mention was black, since I myself am a young black man. Disgraceful. As a personal message to you and this business, if you want to be a respected father, respect yourself first. Take accountability. Take care of your customers. Please DM me for details as I am currently in the beginning stages of court proceedings (as I was not given a proper refund, and will be missing work) but to summarize, this is a terrible business that does NOT respect its customers. Luckily, my jacket maintains a recording device that has this whole interaction. Final notes: Tiana, (Westfield st front lady) please treat all your customers with an equal level respect. Young or old. Black or white. Nonverbal communication speaks volumes. Rodrigo, you're 36 with a family. You don't strike me as a terrible person, but the way you handled this situation was honestly disgraceful. We all make mistakes. It's in how we handle it that makes all the difference. Feel free to message me, otherwise, I'll see you in court. Stay blessed.

I called the owner/ viable number, they never called me back, I'll be reporting this establishment for unlawful running of a business. 80% of the washers don't work, they're covered in dust and filth. Instead of fixing the machines, the owner puts duct tape over the handle.... ( that's an embarassment.) They claim to have Wi-Fi and don't. LASTLY listen to what you get to pay to do your laundry in such a FINE establishment! 6.00 FOR A LARGE LOAD. 3.00 for a small one (and I mean MAX 8 pieces of clothing LOL). I will never go back. There are much MUCH better laundry Matt's In the area.

All the zippers were torn off and clothes streaked black. Everything was melted with circular imprints the same size as the holes in the dryer barrel, but the owner said there was no way to know what had happened and that I couldn't prove that the damage happened there. I suggested he check any one of his video cameras. Without checking the dryer, the owner said it was working perfectly and insisted it would have shut off if anything was wrong. (That's not how dryers work.) He also argued there was no way to establish the value of the clothing that was ruined. I said we could make a list of the items that were in the dryer and their current condition before I left. Since a number of them had been purchased recently to go on vacation, I could easily provide receipts for at least half of the items. He said that even the new clothes purchased a week ago would have depreciated and would no longer be worth the amount I paid, so there was nothing he could do. Take your clothes and your quarters elsewhere!

I had a wonderful experience at Elms Cleaners for my wedding dress alterations…read more *PLEASE BE AWARE* she is booking months out! I had to call in the beginning of May for my September wedding and she had to squeeze me in then. So call 5 months before your big day or sooner. She booked 4 appointments for me, and a final appointment for pick up and how to show my maid of honor how to bustle my dress. She might look a little disorganized, but that is just her way of doing things. My wedding dress came out perfect. The only problem was my dress was so heavy the bustle did come undone at my reception but this was my fault for stepping on the dress and ripping some of the button's thread.. I had emergency thread and able to fix it... most dresses would not have this problem, but if you're waking in uneven grass just make sure to lift up the dress and watch your step. Either way, I looked perfect in the dress and that's all that mattered. She has great communication, always verified next appointments and texted me if she needed any questions answered or updates on when my dress was ready. Ursula is a very sweet lady, and always trying to appease. I would definitely recommend to anyone. She's actually a master tailor, took 8 years of schooling... her perfection and attention to detail is on point. She was very helpful with veil selection and advice for bridal fashion. She also helped me find a new rhinestone appliqué piece for the bodice that was nicer than the one the dress came with! Just call really early to book!

As soon as I met her, her warmth and personality shone through. She truly cares about you as a customer and takes genuine care in making your dress look amazing on your body. I had a challenging dress shade and wasn't able to find a veil to match. When she heard this, she suggested that I let her figure out the veil part. She took it upon herself to find the perfect fabric and lining. In the end, she crafted a GORGEOUS veil that would have cost me hundreds of dollars if I went elsewhere. Now I have a beautiful keepsake that you couldn't find anywhere else. My dress fit like a glove, and I felt beautiful. Her rates were very affordable, and I think she should honestly charge more because her craftsmanship was so good. She does run a dry cleaning shop at the same time, so while she *does* give you individualized attention, do be prepared for her to have to pause for taking phone calls and taking dry cleaning drop offs. If you consider yourself to be a "bridezilla" who can't stand an interruption or two, then this might not be the place for you. If you want to work with a wonderful and talented seamstress who's gonna make you look like a queen, see Ula.
