OK I have been going here 3 years. And have been mixed feelings the whole time. Well today was my…read morelast straw and I will be finding a new dentist. First off the place is nice, clean and the dentist assistance I had was amazing. Onto the problem. dr Lisa is my Dentist, if I had cavities she would fill them and then "go to deep" which then made me need a root canal, and most recently I went in last week she did her final exam (not finding anything of worry) only for me to find a growth in my mouth. I called to see if I can come in for someone to check it out seeing I was just there and got the "your mouth has no issues" I'm told that I need to pay for an exam fee, sure ok but that's kinda ridiculous seeing I was just there and was told I had no issues except I do? Why did she not tell me about this growth I have it's a hard lump on my gums. The receptionist argued with me on the phone- very rude, like other reviews have said. I understand if she had mentioned this growth before and I wanted to check on it to make sure it was going away but to get a "clean bill of health" only to find out I have an issue to me is a them problem and to make me pay to be seen again is not ok. After all this back and forth with my feelings on this place (specifically Dr Lisa) I will be looking for other dentist's for future visits

Updating with an added star…read more After my original review, the crown Dr. Winger placed came off. I went back in and he recemented it at no charge, which was the right call since it was his work. I appreciate that. I want other patients to know how that visit went, because the response above leaves it out. Before he treated my tooth, Dr. Winger said we needed to address the elephant in the room. He told me I'd made harsh comments about employees and that some of them were uncomfortable working with me because they were afraid of ending up in a review. I pointed out on the spot that my original review named two employees positively and only raised concerns about one -- it wasn't a broad complaint about the staff, and that distinction wasn't acknowledged. This conversation happened chairside, while I was sitting there needing care, with no warning. In my opinion, that's a conversation you have after treatment, not before. I would gladly have paid full price for the recement to skip it. In the moment, it felt like the conversation was the price of care. He also said, in substance, that his employees need to feel safe in the office. What he described was staff worried something they said might end up in a review. In my opinion that isn't feeling unsafe -- it's not wanting to be reviewed. If staff conduct themselves professionally, there's nothing to fear from a review. To be fair: Tammy did later send a written apology by email, and the payment plan was ultimately honored after she escalated it. I want to acknowledge that. But across multiple visits, the tone of that written apology has not matched how I've been spoken to in person, and that pattern is what was never addressed -- not in the email, not in the meeting, not in the response above. Dr. Winger asked that I bring concerns to him first rather than post publicly. Between my original review and this visit, there was no call, no email, no attempt to reach out. The first time it came up was chairside, before he treated me. Public reviews exist so other patients can decide for themselves. Dr. Winger's clinical work is genuinely good and I've said that from the start. My concerns are about the front office, and about a response that vouches for character without addressing conduct.

No one is overlooked, and you can truly feel the positive atmosphere throughout the office. This time, I came in to receive my first Invisalign aligners, and I was excited! I had such a relaxing experience with a highly skilled dental assistant who has actually had Invisalign herself. With 10 years of experience, she was able to answer all of my questions and address any concerns I had about the treatment. Dr. Simran Pawar also took the time to show me the virtual models of my teeth and reassure me that Invisalign was a great choice for me and my smile. Riddle, an experienced dental professional with many years in dentistry, works alongside Dr. Cheema and Dr. Simran Pawar. Together, Dr. Pawar and her assistant worked quickly, efficiently, and accurately to deliver my Invisalign trays. My concerns were heard, my questions were answered, and the entire process was surprisingly quick. Two weeks ago, I came into the office to have my mouth scanned. Two weeks later, today, I walked out with my Invisalign! As soon as the aligners were placed, they fit like a glove. They are so discreet that I honestly don't think anyone can tell I'm wearing them. In fact, I decided not to tell anyone--I just want to see their reactions when they notice my transformation! Another strong point I want to share is that, as a fellow dental professional, this experience has been eye-opening for me. I've worked in many different dental offices, so I know what it feels like when an office is stressed. You can feel the tension, whether it's in the front office or the back. You can also tell when a staff is happy and when they genuinely enjoy working together. You want to be in a place where you are respected, valued, and treated well, regardless of who you are or where you come from, and bluntly what color you are. Lakeside Dental truly stands out from the rest. From the moment I chose this office, I have been pleased with my dental experience. The practice combines state-of-the-art technology with relaxed, highly skilled professionals who are kind, caring, and welcoming--not grumpy, rushed, or rigid. Thank you to everyone at Lakeside Dental for making my Invisalign experience such a positive one. I truly appreciate you all!
