I was very impressed with the team that came on Monday--they were all very nice guys, professional and thorough. They worked incredibly quickly and didn't go over the estimate, even though I asked them to remove a few branches that weren't originally mentioned when the estimate was being done. They exceeded my expectations. But that isn't really even the half of it...on Friday before the trees were removed, one of the trees fell onto my driveway, blocking us in. This happened at 3:30 on Friday--I called their office not expecting them to be able to help at that hour, but they did. Jeff came out 45 minutes later, and chopped up the tree so we wouldn't be trapped. He knew I had a baby at home and said he couldn't leave us stranded all weekend. Did I mention that there were torrential down pours and lightening while he did this? And that he had his own young family to go home to that Friday afternoon? But he came out of his way to help me. That goes way above and beyond any service I could expect. I will absolutely use Stanley again for anything that comes up, and fully recommend them. Stanley Tree gave me the best price there was out there to remove two trees hovering over my roof. Clem, the guy who came out to give me an estimate, was very knowledgeable about his trees and it was exciting knowing about the trees and plants around my property. Passion goes a long way. Anyway, three guys came out and did a beautiful job. Leaving the wood in 18" cuts and taking the debris. They even blew away any wood shavings and raked up what was left over. I paid cash for an additional 10% off. I received the invoice 2 days after by email and I forwarded it to my insurance company. This couldn't have been an easier process. Magnificent, magnificent magnificent!! I will be using them from now on. They are clearing power lines in my town, while working in front of my house the crew dropped all kinds of branches and wood on my lawn and dented and tore it up, when I started to ask the guys working what they were going to do to fix it not one of them spoke a word of english, so I got no where with it except that my lawn is all messed up and none of them could have cared less, the whole street looks terrible. When I talked to my neighbor a few houses down about it, he said he had no problem speaking to the men doing the work, I said none of them spoke english when I asked about the damage, he said they had no problem speaking when he was offering them cash to cut another tree in his yard while they were there, and that tree had nothing to do with the power lines. read more

Our house was hit by a 80 foot oak tree in our backyard. We chose Stanley because they came highly recommended by both family members and friends. They were here as promised the day after the storm and with the crane and a crew of six, proceeded to remove this huge tree that had imbedded itself in our roof. The men were professional and careful, trying hard not to further damage the house. Trying to work with snow and ice is difficult enough. They promised to return for the stump when the snow melts and the temps are a bit warmer. The work was completed in a timely fashion. A+++++ These guys are great! Stanley and his crew really care and it shows in the service they provide -- from estimate all the way through cleanup. They always answer the phone and show up when they say they will, which is better than almost every other tree service I've used. They brought a bucket truck which was handy for my tall trees and a dumpster to put all the trimmings in so they don't have to pile them in the yard -- came in real handy to help complete a whole yard cleanup. They did everything I asked for and even some things I didn't, and recommended a few more which only made the finished job that much better. They cleaned up everything! Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. We had a 65 ft Norway Maple taken down today, it was situated in our back yard about 15 ft from our house. Stanley tree services had to bring in a crane and deal with the power lines above our side of the street. The crown on this tree was massive yet the arborist who climbed the tree made it look easy as he negotiated his way cutting and attaching the limbs to the overhead crane. These were then hoisted over our house with such care and patience by the crane operator. The branches were cut by other members of the team and placed in the chipper. I called Stanley Tree, I had some trees next to my cabin that did not look like they were going to last the winter, they had bugs eating them away. Dan came down to take a look he explained what was wrong with the trees and showed me some problems with trees that I had not seen. I had the job priced out with three different companies and they came in at the lowest price. My mother had an enormous pine fall on her roof. This resulted in a pretty large flooding situation as it was also raining quite heavily. We phoned other tree services who said they'd call back and never did. Aaron from Stanley came right out and phoned in for crew. They took the tree down in an incredible storm and were professional and courteous despite the rough weather. Came back and chipped the tree next day. Beautiful job, above and beyond. After a few hiccups with communication, we got our trees removed. I must say, the owner really cares about customer service. The workers were very professional and precise with the movement of the trees (which came directly over the house). They also cleaned up the sawdust and leaves, took down an extra leaning tree free of charge, and stacked the wood we wanted exactly where we asked them to. These ignorant people ruined my driveway paint job. I recently painted my driveway over and had bins out to block and protect my driveway. These guys decided to move my bins, trespassing into private property without permission and ruined my driveway paint all so they can turn around on my street it's so unprofessional. I have it all on camera too, just can't believe they would trespass which it's illegal and ruin a persons property. read more
