Before the arrival of the tech, they sent me a little biography of the technician Brandon, Including his hobbies and his picture. That was a nice touch. Brandon called me a little bit ahead of the appointment time to let me know that he finished a little bit earlier with the previous appointment and asked if it was OK to arrive a little bit earlier than the scheduled time. He was kind enough to take off his shoes before entering the house as we typically do that in our house. He stayed in the garage area and anytime he needed to communicate with me, he would knock on the garage door. Once he assessed the garage, he gave me his assessment and his recommendations. Although pricey, as expected, I trusted his professional recommendations and felt reassured that the replacement of the garage springs, bearings with appropriate metal bearings, and rollers with appropriate metal roller are going to last 30 years. The lifetime warranty within 30 years was also very reassuring. After he fixed the garage and replaced the materials as listed above, he explained the reasoning of why it broke in the first place. The original springs were of low quality, underweight for the heavy garage door, and not installed properly with eight turns instead of seven turns. The rollers were plastic and rusted, and the bearing was plastic. Unfortunately, the previous owner was the one who had repaired the garage springs seven years ago So it is to be assumed that he had either done it himself or he had a company that did not do a good job. I am very glad I decided not to replace the garage springs on my own as it is a tedious and strenuous project. Brandon completed it in less than an hour. He was very nice and professional throughout the entire time. Precision was very good with their communication. I feel very confident and grateful for having precision repair our garage. Thank you.
