It tasted almost like pickles in the background, but I'm not sure what it was. Suffice to say, the burger was very good. Was it the best burger I've ever had? No. Sadly, that honor goes to Pete's Frites, and he hung it up after ruining all of us who got to try his burger masterpieces before disappearing. But I digress. No Mames treated me like I mattered. They took my opinions and wishes seriously. I am very impressed. The owner and his wife genuinely wanted me to enjoy my experience with their food, and I must say I did. Their tireless efforts to make me a happy customer are very rare, and they should be commended. I had fries this time, and they are the thin, more crispy variety, which are my favorite. I also received a Serrano sauce and a flavored oil "sauce," which I was told they serve with their chicharrones, I believe. I kinda liked it with the fries. I'm upping the rating to 5 stars, because for me, the food is a very strong 4 stars, but their customer service and care for their craft makes it an easy 5 stars. Go pay this place a visit and let them know what you think of their food. They actually listen and will make adjustments. That's a customer's dream.

It is flavorful, perfectly balanced, the ingredients taste fresh, and that sauce was bomb. As a side I vouched to add some loaded fries. They were delicious but in the future I think ill vouch for the normal fries. Crispy, thin fries are my favorite and the chorizo liquid made the ones on top soft but I still really enjoyed them. I *have* to go back and try every thing on their menu. Also, shootout to the people working. They were really friendly and got my burger out quickly (which I really appreciated because I went when it was super windy).

I came near closing, but service was still awesome. The lady behind the counter was super patient with me as I scanned the menu and tried to figure out what I wanted to order. I was dinner so I opted for a Birria burrito, then added on a Birria taco and a carne asada taco. There were two people ahead of me so my food was a little slow to come but I tell ya: it was worth the wait. My picture doesn't really do this justice. The burrito is fucking huge. One of the biggest I've ever had. I wish I knew how big it was ahead of time, cause I would not have ordered the tacos. Or maybe I would have cause the tacos were chonky and so damned good too. Going back to the birria burrito.. wow. It was packed full of birria with some rice and beans. The ratio is AMAZING for us meat lovers. I could only stomach half the burrito, plus the two tacos. Since their business name includes "taco" I had to try them out. I have to say that their tacos are very good with my favorite being the tripitas. I was also curious about their burgers since those seem to be an item that people get. I ordered the monster burger which is a Mexican style burger loaded with all kinds of goodies including winnies and ham. My description of it doesn't do it justice so take a look at my pics. Their tacos are very good but you also need to try one of their burgers, especially if you have a monster appetite.

Their brisket, I really enjoy. It is fall apart tender, but it doesn't fall apart. Which I appreciate. It separates nicely when bitten into so you are not pulling a piece of brisket out when you are biting into your sandwich. The sandwich is jam packed with a generous serving of the brisket so I can't complain about that. I've only had the pleasure of the having the beans, and cream corn casserole among the sides. I can vouche for the tastiness both of them. The beans could probably be replicated, but the corn casserole is pretty unique in my opinion. I really liked it. Something like a corncake with bits of corn scattered through out. The sandwich alone is $13 or a combo for $15 which includes a side. I little on the high end in my opinion, but you won't be hungry when you are done. The only other fault in my opinion is the temperature. Both times I had them, my brisket was luke/room temp. Not really very warm at all. I dunno, but depending on your circumstances, you could always bring it home and nuke it! Sorry, no pics, I scarfed it both times without a single snap!
