Unfortunately I'm going to have to give this location a one star. I came in to purchase lens for my new frames. The cost was a bit outrageous so I decided to only get one pair done. I was sold a loan company in order for me to purchase both pair that day, that has now charged me an extra $100 that was never explained to me. After speaking with the company that I have the loan with I got nowhere. After speaking with the store that I got my frames from I got nowhere. I was told that the loan would be 90 days same as cash so here it is a week later and I go in to pay it off and the balance is $100 more. Yeah, go find somewhere else to purchase your frames. It's a must to understand what you're selling before you sell it. If you can pay for your frames right away go ahead and purchase them do not use the company acima for anything. You will not get someone that speaks English well enough for you to understand, nor will you get anywhere. read more

Stanton Optical on 249 is closed! I received a text on yesterday that my eyeglasses were ready for pickup and when I went to the location today at noon, the doors were locked and ALL glasses have been removed from the wall displays! There was nothing on the door that directed customers where to call! This is HORRIBLE! I have learned my lesson and will never go to another Stanton Optical EVER! My mom and I went in a few weeks ago for glasses and exams. They don't take most insurances and the associates were not that friendly. While there, It seemed like we were bothering the woman who was helping us. If we asked a question, she would take a sigh or roll her eyes. I received my glasses today and they are okay, my eyes are still adjusting- normal. The selection isn't the best compared to other places. With the selection not being the best and the attitudes from the associates, I would suggest going elsewhere for eye exams and glasses/contacts. 4/10. read more

Worst pair of eyeglasses that I have ever purchased in over 30 years of wearing them. Broke twice and then they want you to pay to repair even though you purchased their exclusive warranty to fix or replace. I will never go back and will be telling everyone that I see or know. read more

Best decision I could have made. But I must say I was skeptical at first, especially when I went in the examining room and the doctor was on a monitor. But the staff was wonderful I've never received such great eye care in this post pandemic. The ladies were wonderful I went in as a walk-in and they took good care of me and my wait was no longer than 15 minutes. I am so happy I stopped in because a previous eye exam from a Pearle vision gave me lenses that were too strong for my vision. I recommend eye lab to anyone looking to get their eyes checked in a great atmosphere with very professional and friendly staff. read more

This is part one of my review. I went to this Eyelab because of location and good prices. The customer service was great. I worked with Chrysti. She was very helpful and got my price for two pair 125.00 with one being sunglasses. The exam tech was great also. The eye dr was on video for the exam. This was different for me but all went well. Now Part 2 to follow in 2 weeks after getting my glasses back Ok I have my glasses before the due date! They came out wonderful and the customer service was 5 !!! No wait and very helpful. 2 for 59.99 Nope!! Paid 400.00 for 2 pair, that seems like a great deal. Problem, their should have been 4.00 VERY CHEAP glasses. Save your money, and go to a "real" optometrist. Lesson learned - save money on a car not glasses. read more

been putting it off so long because I don't have vision insurance, but their prices are very reasonable! My eye exam was $89 for contacts and glasses, which was the same as a few other places I called. Making an appointment online was a really quick and easy process. I got there about 15 minutes before my appointment, but was greeted as soon as I walked in and was able to check in immediately. Shanice was sooo nice and helpful with all of the tests, and getting me set up to see the doctor. The visit with the doctor was different than I've ever experienced, where the doctor is actually talking to you remotely through a webcam, kinda like FaceTime. They're able to talk to you, and adjust the lenses as if they were in the room. It was actually pretty cool, and went by really quickly. After the exam was done, I started looking at some glasses while they wrote my prescription. I wasn't intending to get glasses or contacts at the time because of my budget, but Ryan helped me weigh the choices and I ended up getting the 2 pairs for $59.95 deal. To be 100% honest, the frames are a bit limited on the deal, but don't let the selection online fool you! I found two pairs that worked really well for me and didn't feel pressured into buying anything. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, and you can even split the payment for the glasses into 2 separate payments. To top it all off, I was even able to get my current glasses tightened, even though they weren't from them. The level of service here is wonderful, and don't let the whole remotely talking to the doctor thing throw you off. read more

After going to Walmart since I have had glasses for 9 years & had a bad experience & lady pretty much telling me I could come back another day if I wanted to ...long story!!! While at work, a box fell on my head lol. My glasses fell right off my head and broke on the floor. It was crunch time to find a place same day that will except me. After all I knew the VA wouldn't be able to. My eyelab was the only one that lined up with my work schedule. I walked in, everyone was friendly and professional! They did explain that my insurance (blue cross blue shield of Massachusetts) was out of network. They still HAVE a great plan to help with that. It was reasonable! I was in and out with my new prescription in 45 minutes! Unfortunately I still have to wait to get my new glasses but the experience alone was great! Will recommend this location! read more

It is not advertised but part of the exam is performed by a zoom doctor examination. The "doctor" I saw had a thick Jamaican accent and I could not understand her. The audio was not in sync. The eye glasses I received (bi-focal) were useless. I could not use the reading portion. Just don't go. You are not saving any money. Just throwing it away. read more

Love them - I originally went to Americas Best (BOO). Three times I told them (AB), the driving glasses were making me dizzy. I went to My Eyelab and they got me a CORRECT Rx, great glasses and worked with me for exactly what i wanted. They are super-helpful! Loved them and I tell everyone about them AND even more so, DON'T go to AB - I think my car could go on auto-pilot I had to drive back because of all the screw ups (maybe 10 extra trips to Americas Best). read more

I went to Eyelab for a few things. Price, convenience and speedy exam/delivery. I couldn't have been more wrong. I asked for quickest option for contact delivery I even mentioned having an overnight option. I was told that delivery was quick with an expectation of not more than in the ballpark of 3 days. I am glad I made the call to check on them...now after 2 days I am told they would not be "here" until the 28th. I should have saved myself the headache, just gotten my eye exam there (which went very well I will say) and ordered my contacts from Walmart or something! The associates that helped me that day were awesome. The management is OFF. Take some helpful criticism and please do better. This is not the fault of the associates working for yo UPDATE: After I had to call to make sure what the details were, they kept reassuring me that the order will be in on the 28th. They failed to mention that they wouldn't even be open as that day is Thanksgiving. What a joke! No one go here, do yourself a favor! LOL read more

Originally visited this location back in June for what at the time was to be an eye exam with the doctor and eyeglass purchase. It was not until I went into the actual room to meet the doctor that that they don't actually have in person doctors that it is all a virtual experience. Odd but okay. After just a few short minutes the exam was completed and I went on to pick frames & lenses. I was explained that my script was very minor and I didn't need anything fancy. Opted for frames not included in the promo so I paid a bit more but was happy with my choice. A few weeks later I go in to pick up and try one and they just didn't seem right. But as a first time eyeglass wearer I went with the recommendation of the assistant that told me that I needed time to adjust and just wear them a few hours each day. I tried that for about a month before calling and speaking with the manager; she advised that the lens I was given was not recommended and I should have upgraded to the Progressive lenses. That would provide a broad level of vision for near & far. Took my glasses in and she also notice some sort of imperfection on the lens and stated that they should never have been given to me that way. I didn't notice it until I held it to the light. She said it was only a cosmetic concern and that would not have effected my visual issues. She then had me order the upgraded progressive lenses that were much more expensive even with a discount that she stated to apply. A few weeks later the new glasses arrived and again the same issues. But this time things were more distorted than before. I felt dizzy wearing them. I was assured to at it's the Progressive lens and that my eyes would adjust after a few weeks of wearing them regularly. I gave it another month. The visual issue was so bad they could it be worn to drive as I felt like things were spinning. I stopped by to see the manager again and she was not in. I explained my issue to the assistant on duty and she did it was just the new feel and that I probably needed glasses for years. When I mentioned that I supposedly had a very light script and progressive lenses she seemed confused. But asked me to give it more time which I did. Another month of wearing them as long as I could each time but no luck. I stopped by again and spoke with another assistant and they recommended I call the main 800#to express my concerns. The representative was very helpful and said that I needed to have another exam completed to seeing the issue was the prescription was incorrect from the beginning. He advised everything would be covered under the warranty and that no fees would be collected. Today I had a visit scheduled for 1pm. At 1:45pm I was told I would need to pay for the exam because that was not converted because it had been so long since my last exam. Less than six month...with regular visits to express my concerns doesn't seem to long. When I explained I was told this would be covered the young lady called her area manager who then told her that the exam would only be covered with purchase of new lenses that the warranty only applies to the frames. There was also some mention of a 20% discount as a returning customer. LOL! A returning unhappy customer. So I have paid over $400 for a pair of glasses that are worthless. Not happy at all with the outcome. read more

The doctor was rude to my 79 year old mother because she couldn't hear or understand the doctor. No patients, gave wrong prescription. We back a second time and it was confirmed that the prescription was incorrect. My mom paid 350.00 for eye glasses that she will never wear read more

Took my grandson here because they were taking appointments during Covid. 1st thing is they don't tell you that there is not a doctor on site. 2nd they do not do a glaucoma test during your eye exam and you have to pay extra some where else for that. 3rd. took my grandson from a 175 to a 350 with the axis from 180 to 003??? My grandson put them on and tried to ware them and got sick. Took him back and they rechecked his eyes and now they are 275 with axis being 180. I will not be taking him back here again. read more
