Polite employees to begin with that know the store reward program. I was treated rudely after spending neatly $200 in two days at this store when I asked about the double reward points for bringing in empty ink cartridges. The employee knew nothing about the extra reward points. I explained there was sign in front of the cartridge shelf. She got angry when I thought she should familiarize herself with the offer. Just left Staples and purchased an item with the anti-theft strap attached. Young cashier struggled to manually remove the straps all the while, me and another customer behind me told her that there was a special device to remove it but all the while she is determined to manually remove the device. Even suggested that she call the manager who was standing nearby to tell her how to easily remove the device. She continues to struggle. She then decides to call over guy who she figured had more strength to pull the strap off but instead he picks up the device that is designed to remove anti-theft device. I am thinking - how untrained can you be to not know who to properly and correctly remove something that is on most of the items in the store. I ask her if this was her first time and she stated, no that she was able to pull off others. I am thinking - The whole point of these devices is to make it difficult to remove. Working in a store, not knowing the basis of her job and her not willing to listen to advice, SAD. This store is one of the worst Staples I have ever shopped in. I would avoid using this printing service. I ordered a simple poster print online expecting it to be ready the following day. When I called two days after the expected date because I had still not received any update, they stated they had put my order on hold due to a printer issue. That stated that the printer issue has been fixed and would take my order off hold and it would ready in the next few hours. With no further update, I called the store a second time the following morning and was told my order was "almost ready." I went into the store about an hour later and I was told that my order simply still was not ready because they were "very backed up" and it would be ready within the hour. I came back an hour later and it still had not been printed. My order is 5 days late and received no discount or apology other than that the store was very busy and "backed up." Do better. read more

Met one of the most rude lady as a store manager this morning. Me and three other cars were sitting outside the store before 8 o'clock to enter. The store manager came up, unlock the door, looked at all of us and said we do not open till nine. However, their website says open at 8 o'clock copy room does not open till nine. I asked when did they change the hours and she stated never we've always been 9 o'clock. Well, I think you might need to fix your website and your Google search in your Yelp search because it's states 8 o'clock. read more

Literally had to walk out and leave my items ( which I NEEDED tonight) , because the guy at the register wouldn't take cash. Stated that they stop accepting cash after 8:00pm ( which is NOT posted anywhere ). I get it , they wanted to get closed up at a normal time so they probably counted the drawers down and all that ..... it's not that hard to adjust for one transaction. Meh. It's close for me so sometimes I will stop in here. A few times I have thought about just leaving my items there and walking out. Getting help/checking out here can be difficult. Last time I was there, as I was walking to the register two ladies walked past me, walking away from the cash register. As I approached the register the lady working there walked off and helped another employee with some small project. When she came back I put my items on the counter but there were already a few things there. The two ladies that had walked away earlier returned and said excuse me, I'm sorry but we were still shopping. They stepped in front of me and continued being rung up, it looked like they walked away to shop more after they had started to check out. After that there was a conversation about warranties. Then the lady wasn't sure if she wanted to use cash or a credit card. I was thinking that I should never return to this location and should shop on-line from now on. The lady went through her cash, found she had enough and paid. When I was starting to check out, the ladies leaving set off an alarm thing. The employee walked away from the register and got their bag and deactivated some anti-theft device. FINALLY she returned and I got to pay & leave. I've found that sometimes they have what I want and sometimes they don't. I can almost always find what I want at Staples on-line but I think I have a 50/50 chance of finding what I want in this store. read more

This staples sucks! Drove 25 minutes to come here to ship a package on a Sunday since they say they ship 7 days a week. The guy in that area is a moron and said they don't work with UPS even though the sign on their building even says UPS 7 days a week shipping. read more

If you like to be ignored until the staff can find no other excuse not to help you, and then be lied to by the smartass clerks, you'll love the copy center in this store. However, if you want knowledgeable service by happy people avoid this place. I would have thought by now, with so many reviews beginning this way, Yelp would have made a "0" star rating possible: That's what this place deserves, 0. I wish I could take away stars other people gave them. Every single experience in here has been horrible. Rude staff, inattentive staff, apathetic staff. (except the one dude who works in the copy center, he's awesome. but he should move on, and not go down with this sinking ship). The copy/mail center never has more than one person available to help, so when a worker is helping a customer with a copy issue, the mail line gets longer and longer. It happens, but what makes it inexcusable is the indignant nature the other workers (except the dude) have toward those waiting. Never have I, or anyone in front of me in line, waiting, received a "hey, sorry, I'll be with y'all in just a moment". Even if you can't get to us because you are helping someone else, after 5 minutes at least acknowledge you see us. Acknowledge our wait. I USED to go here because it was super close to my home, but since my most recent experience here, I've driven 10 minutes out of my way (each way) to go to the main Fed Ex or other Post Office. Staples doesn't care. See how far back the horrible reviews for rude workers goes, and it never changes. Maybe they train their workers to be rude and ignore customers. Maybe they train their workers to walk over to a customer to hand them tape or other items and rudely walk away without so much as a word. Last time, I replied "thank you" to the worker who laid it on the counter in front of me and walked away (her body language was already rude and hateful) and she replied back in a condescendingly high-pitched chipper voice "you're welcome". I'm not a moron. Go back to ignoring me as opposed to condescension. (this came about because after she finally finished helping the one copy customer, instead of turning to me next (i had been the next person in that area, she began helping another customer (my wait time at this point was 10 minutes--I could have left and driven to the main post office by that time) and my mother, who was with me, said something. I normally only use this Staples for printing and the mail center. Very thankful for their services, but they have seemed to be under-staffed each time I've gone in. Normal wait time has been around 5-10 minutes. Don't go during lunch or afternoon around 3pm. read more

I deeply regret that this is the only place within a ten-mile radius where I can purchase an extensive variety of office supplies. Avoid this place like the plague for tech purchases. I went to purchase a Chromebook they had on sale. I used to only do business with Circuit City for these types of products, but sadly they closed some years back. Anyway, we waited for ten minutes before a sales associate would even acknowledge us. A young man, who clearly didn't have any expertise, "ummmm"ed and "uhhhhh"ed his way through me asking him about the technical specs of this product. I finally gave up and asked if they had any in stock. He checked and said they had one. He went to the back. Ten minutes later he reemerges and says, "uhhh, yeah, we have like one in the back, but it's all busted up or something." By the way, Staples, I went to Walmart that same day, bought the exact same Chromebook for $50 less, and they had plenty in stock. What else can I say about this location? It's constantly dirty and in a disarray. Like it's perpetually the day after Black Friday. The floors are littered with dirt and refuse and dead roaches. Yes, dead roaches. Displays are always picked through with broken merchandise or busted open packages scattered about. The layout makes no logical sense. So you're on one side of the store looking at presentation materials, but then the complete opposite side of the store has filing folders. We could talk about how every time I've gone in there they will have dozens of items in a clearance bin that ring up regular price and they refuse to honor the sale price (while looking at you like you're some sort of a shyster). How about you teach your employees how to properly stock inventory? Take a little more pride in the overall appearance of the store. Oh, and final straw. My grandmother was shopping there last week when her cashier felt it was appropriate to engage her in an angsty political discussion out of the blue, in which he told her how much he despises our president. If you like being ignored while you are patiently waiting and another customer comes in and is attended to first then you will love the customer experience at this location. I don't believe that once you begin employment that any training is required because the staff will not only ignore you but will go out of their way to be rude to you if you can actually get one of them to engage in a conversation with you.
