Paid for express printing that was supposed to be ready within an hour and specifically chose this location even though it's 30 minutes away from my house because I needed the order quickly for customer work. When I came in last night, the employee seemed very overwhelmed and flustered, so I tried to be understanding and patient. However, coming back the next day and still being told the order wasn't ready and would take another 4 hours was extremely frustrating. On top of that, the interaction today felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive. I completely understand delays happen, especially when stores are busy, but communication, professionalism, and realistic turnaround times matter , especially when customers are paying for express services and planning business orders around them. read more

Solid. I'm not really an Office Depot guy, and quite frankly, I wonder if they are even in business anymore. Everything is here at Staples for the home office and more. I get my college girls gift bags for school. Office supplies for my work from home office. I've also had a battery ordered and replaced in my laptop. Great prices. Great service. Clean. Spacious. This Staples in Braintree is definitely one of the many in the area that I frequent often since most of my shopping, I do in this plaza so it's quite convenient. I feel like this store is smaller (or maybe just feels that way) than others. Whenever I come here, they usually don't have a large selection... most things seem to be sold out. I can never find the pens I am looking for & notebooks are limited. Staff is nice though & pretty helpful. Lots of parking available here. Location has plenty of parking alongside many other box stores. Did TSA precheck here, had to wait quite a bit even with an appointment, they were on lunch so i just went to bestbuy until time it was to come back and waited another 15ish. Aside that i usually go here to grab specific things might need right away and go. Used their printing services a couple times albeit a bit pricey compared to others but when in a pinch it serves its purpose. I like this Staples location. It's convenient and has more than you might realize. It's a UPS drop off spot so I have been using that to return Amazon packages lately. They recently set up a 2 aisle kids area with educational games and some crafts. Much less crowded place to grab a kid gift than a toy store. The copy center is great if you can speak to a staffer in the store. I've had some issues of online print shop orders not getting to the store correctly. Got my new years postcards printed through Staples with no problems. Love the clearance shelves. The office supplies are a little higher priced than our online overlord that starts with an A but it's convenient to see what you need to look at sizing and to take it home that day. Didn't think I would be reviewing a Staples but they're great. read more

I have had good luck here. I use their print services every year for Christmas cards and they do a good job. They are usually done within 24 hours depending on what you order. Also good to have if you need any office equipment in a pinch. read more

I ordered a same-day custom poster print job, which when I started the order was supposed to have been ready by 4:30pm. When I got the receipt, it said that it would be ready by 5:00pm, which was too late for my purposes. I called the store to explain that I wouldn't be able to pick up any later than 4:30 and could they honor the original time. The woman was abrupt and said no. I wasn't happy, but it is what it is. So I asked for the job to be canceled, which she said she would. I had a bad feeling from her attitude that she wouldn't process it, and sure enough no email from staples came through. I waited an hour and called the main 800 number. Sure enough it was confirmed that the woman never processed the refund to my credit card. read more

I came here to print a few shipping labels. I'm not a fan of the method by which Staples prints (it takes a lot more clicking than needed to print two one-page documents) but that's not the location's fault, that's the software/corporate decision. I had no issues, but while I was here I heard someone complain of a paper jam. My other major issue-- although it seems trivial-- is that if you're just printing you have to walk all the way around the front of the store, through the checkout which you're not using, to exit, as the door closest to the printing area says "Not an Exit" and won't even open for you. I went into make printout of some docs and there was an option of color and black and white. I chose black and white to save a few $. As it was about to print, it only gave me the color option . After a few times of trying the process again, the print defaulted back to color. When I explained this to the lady behind the desk, she stated I need to click the black and white option. When I told her that I did that, she can only reply that I didn't do it. After going back and forth, she stated the system must not be working. After all that, I still had to pay for my usage of the computer. Absolutely ridiculous and very poor service read more

I cannot understand any of the bad reviews. I went to get some prints done from a file that I sent a few days ago and was helped by Shannon. They got the prints right up super quick, printed them off and handed them to me with a smile. Quick, efficient and friendly who could ask for more. A paper and copy based company should have more than one working copy machine . I recommend printing at work . It's free and you don't need to wait in line for 15 min for 3 copies of a single sheet of paper . I think Ben Franklin could have made copies faster read more

Staples in Braintree needs a complete overhaul. They have a lot of work to do. Service = 0 stars Cleanliness = 4 stars Layout = 2 stars Variety = 2 stars Wait Times = -5 stars Average = 1 star. This Staples takes forever to do anything. Let alone overhaul and remodel / update the entire store, it takes them so long to even assist customers. Some employees aren't knowledgeable about the products the store sells and always has to find management to help. Checkout lines are barely ever short, and the store is normally pretty busy. Clearance is ok and the parking is fine, but the store has some many issues that the cons weigh out the pros. 2 stars. read more

Went in on a Saturday afternoon to get a picture printed. What should have been no more than a 15 min process turned into over an hour and a half of a joke. First, they needed my full name and address "in case you ever need more printing work done". Then, I was told that my ONE 8.5x11 print would take "around an hour" to print. Mind you-- there was NO ONE ELSE PRINTING. I worked at staples and know, firsthand, that it doesn't take an hour to print something as small as a map. Went back to get the print and was then told they don't have record of it. At all. No note, no print. Nothing. Thankfully, all I had to do was wait two minutes for them to reprint it, but even still. The entire ordeal shouldn't have taken that long and in the end what did I get? Not the gloss I paid for and certainly not an hour of my time back. read more

This is my fav Staples. The staff is amazing. Catherine helped me with my package I needed to mail out. She was super duper sweet and kind. I have no complaints. I got a lot of gift cards here for the holidays. They have probably the best selection of gift cards for a retail store. Traffic can be a lil loco when the holidays are here in the shopping center. read more

I came here to use printing services. Roughly 30 sheets of paper that were out of the printer in first batch were ruined and unusable. I asked associate for help and was told to approach him once done and he'll take care of me. Long story short, instead of refunding me for ruined paper he actually charged me for it. After I already paid for it during printing session. Very disappointing. read more

I went to the Braintree Staples on 5/27/21 and didn't know what to expect because of its low ratings online. I however would give it 5 stars, but, call me vain, the store front needs a major spruce up. Even a couple of fake plants would help their image a bit. But the staff courtesy made up for the lack of curbside appeal. I was welcomed when I walked in; received great service from one of the sales supervisors and from the shipping service staff. When it comes to getting volume printing done, Staples is where I go. Craig in the copy center is totally awesome and helped me out when it came to printing our wedding programs. He took the file (a pdf file) and laid it out such that two would print on one page; ultimately saving me money. The printing was done in fifteen minutes, cut to size and looked awesome of the heavy paper I wanted. Craig was a lifesaver and I can't thank him enough for helping me pick out the right paper and image sizes. I've never really had a problem at this particular Staples. The staff has always been friendly, but I do find their store to be laid out in a confusing way and often find myself having to wander around the store aimlessly until someone steps in and asks if I need help. read more

Thank god for Wanda, She is my Knight and Shining Armour! Wanda, thank you for always being so easy going, polite and informative. I switched professions a while back and could barely Fed Ex nevermind make copies of plans and bid specs and she has been helping me every step of the way. Recently I met Amanda whom I also love and she is also soooo very helpful. There have been times that I enter the printing center & I don't see Wanda and I panic! Second lousy customer service experience in three visits. First the good news. Joe in the Copy Center is a total PRO, and is the only saving grace with this particular location. He is a gentleman, gets the job done right, and gets it done on time. I always feel that my business is appreciated. Now the bad news. LEGIT ROBBERY. I came in here to fax a document (14 pages total) and the per page price was not posted anywhere near the machine or on the price boards hanging from the ceiling. Mind you there were two signs on the machine to 1) show an example of a successful fax and 2) to instruct on how to pay. I faxed the document and proceeded to the register to pay and shockingly discovered that it was $1.79/page. It cost me a total of $25 to fax the document. Obviously I had no recourse as I already used the service, but Staples deliberately does not post the fax prices IN AN EFFORT TO MISLEAD CONSUMERS. Sure, I could've asked before I started punching the numbers on the fax machine, but the clerk was with someone and who in their right mind would think it could possibly cost $1.79/page. Also, twice I have brought empty ink cartridges to get the $2 credit and the credits were never posted to my account. I hope this place goes out of business soon. read more

This is not a reflection on the Staples in Braintree. It is to register my issue with the 14 day return policy on certain items. I am 3 days past the deadline and cannot return a scanner that I have barely had time to unpackage! This is my last purchase from Staples! At the very least, the return policy should be on the packing slip that came with the item and it is not. read more

Awful! I stopped by the printing center to have some invitations printed. There was a old lady with glasses behind the counter fighting with a customer through the phone.. I just waited my turned (with 2 small kids in tow). After the hang up the phone she just came and look at me.. Instead of Hi, or how can I help you? She just looked at me.. I told her I want some things printed.. She gave me a card, ask me to email and left. I did it and after 5 minutes of her ignoring me and screaming children, I asked her politely with she could check her email to see if she got the order bc I would like it done... She, from far away "looked" at the computer and said NO and walked away again... Seriously?! You don't want to work lady! I just left and asked her to disregard my email, bc clearly she would not do much for my order to be done. read more

I am increasingly more and more disappointed with the direction of staples. There are times I simply want to shop the store and not shop online and it seems whenever you are looking for something they do not have the answer is "it is available online". It is frustrating! I do not always plan that far in advance. Today I went to return a Keurig accessory I purchased at the Braintree Store. I did not have my receipt and I used a cc to make the original purchase that I am 100% sure of since i never carry much cash and have no atm. They informed me I did not use a cc, really hard to impossible to imagine and that if i wanted to return I could receive a store credit (thats ok) but that there was a "fee" to make a return with no receipt. The item by the way has not been on sale ever they tell me.... $5 to make a return without a receipt for this $20 item. This policy will keep me from making an impulse buy! or a purchase that I am not 100% sure will work. read more

I have never written a review before but I was beyond disappointed with this place. I places an order for invitations at the copy center that had to be sent out. The guy said I wouldn't have to pay for them until I came to pick them up. A week later I went & checked that my order never gone through because I had yet to pay for them. I asked why no one had called me to let me know or that the previous person told me I didn't have to pay. He apologized & said he would rush the order & to come back in 4 days.(this time I payed for them) I go back & yet again the order wasn't put through because it said I had yet to pay for it (which wasn't true) & she would rush the order. I was beyond upset because I had an RSVP date that was 2 weeks behind at this point. They constantly blame the previous person for their mistake but if there was proper communication to begin with mistakes like this wouldn't happen. I was beyond upset & now have to call all my guests individually instead of sending out invites like I originally planned. This place is awful. I have never been anywhere so bad & wouldn't go back there if you paid me. read more
