I often shop at Staples at home, so when we needed to have stuff printed while in Louisville we made a stop here. From the lack of service, to the mess, to the trash cans being full, it was not the experience we thought we'd get when spending a few hundred in printing. We needed scissors to finish cutting off some things but a lot of the resources that I have at my local staples were nonexistent here. All in all, we got what we needed but I might just stick to my local FedEx when needing to print items. read more

I applied Feb 23 and instantly got a interview for the next day with Thomas Drew Colwell at 3pm. I arrived around 2:45 walked in and let them know I had a interview. Long story short Thomas is beyond a piss poor manager that didn't show up for the interview. It was with a random employee and was over before 2:55. They guy that conducted the interview was rude very nonchalant and also invited another employee that was passing by to the interview. Not saying it's race related but I've been in there twice since my interview and have never not one time seen anyone that looks like me. The shelves are almost bare, and checkout is a challenge. I don't go here enough to know their layout, and it is not intuitive. Why wouldn't you put the paper by the pens, rather than all the way across the store? There was one person in front of me in the checkout line because the checkout person didn't know how to do something and waited until someone who knew how to do it walked by; there was no attempt to call or page anyone. My transaction was relatively smooth and the service was professional but not friendly. I go here because they're convenient. Lots of parking because it is in a strip mall, and there are places to go to get something to eat before or after if you're in the mood. read more

Wanted to give some quick props to Staples for improving on their service, especially during COVID. I ordered some postcards online and needed them printed in less than 24 hours. After putting in my order late Monday night, I called this Staples around 2 p.m. on Tuesday to see if by chance my cards were done yet. Happily, they were done within the hour, and the clerk even called me back just to confirm this. These cards came out great, and the staff brought them out for curbside pick-up when I called. Staples remains my go-to place for my printing needs. read more

Their printing services at this location are very poor. Do not order online for pickup any print job here and instead go to the self-service to print if needed! The workers do not communicate and I had to wait an hour just for them to figure out how to process a refund for an online order (they said they couldn't get it to print because of the document but i was able to at self-service with the same PDF and they printed duplicates of things that I only put one copy for) , in which they never figured out. The customer service is a joke and you do not want to have any questions because they will not get answered or you will just flat out get ignored. Any other Staples I have visited always value their customers; however, the workers at this location act otherwise. read more

I understand there is a staffing issue but I can no longer put my time and energy in support of this location. DO NOT choose this location for ipostal1 services. they have no idea how to do it and you'll talk to 4 different people who will tell you 4 different things while your package is "missing". almost all of the employees are extremely rude when you call and ask them a question. ipostal customers RUN from this location! read more

Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of office supplies I will fear no sale because I try to only come here with cash. As you may, or may not, know I have an epistolary fetish that requires all the things. Some of those things are pens, ink for the pens, scrap paper, fancy paper, notebooks, and post-it notes. Staples offers all that with a reward program that evades my comprehension (I join most rewards programs so they'll stop asking) and they have friendly workers. They also have UPS capabilities, a copy center that is efficient, as well as scanners and faxes. This is an excellent store. I hate fax machines like Frida Kahlo hated waxing her eyebrows. It just doesn't happen. They're also located by other things and places that I love (the Heine Bros. from Mean Girls and the Preston Arts Center). Parking there is super simple. Bought what I needed. In and out. That's really what I look for in an office supply store. I hate that smaller size photo paper doesn't exist and that the hard plastic that goes under desk chairs costs so much but otherwise I have no complaints. read more

I just waited in line in Staples for 15 minutes before leaving. One cashier working... Not even sure what was going on but the other employees, including the manager, just walked around like they didn't even notice the people in line for so long. I left. I didn't end up purchasing.....I don't have that much time and I won't return. read more

This is just about your average Staples that you'll find in pretty much any city in the country. You'll be able to find all your basic office supplies here, usually with a few choices. It is what it is - a store stocked with a myriad of office stuff. Useful. A couple notes: there is not large selection of colors for card stock paper. And somewhat ironically, they don't carry staples for a staple gun. read more

I am in love with this Staples! I am a regular customer, but today they went above and beyond all expectations. After making a purchase today, I went out to the parking lot only to find that my car's battery was dead. I was going nowhere and roadside assistance said it would be several hours before they could get to me. A really nice employee (the manager?) at Staples offered to give me a jump start. He took time out of his busy workday to help me out. Unfortunately, I was so frazzled I didn't get his name -- but he is my hero! I will be a grateful customer of this Staples forever. I ordered signs for my office was under the impression that they would be ready to be picked up in two days. I went to pick them up 3 days later and they were not there. So I called another 2 days later was told again they weren't there. So I asked to speak with a manager and he informed me I in fact needed to call a different line. Because he had my order right there. Then when I told him I was in my car a minute away to pick them up for the second time if someone could get them ready and be outside so I wouldn't have to be inconvenienced anymore he told me I needed to call back for curbside pick up. So I hung up the phone and called right back had the run around on their phone options I was at the door before I completed my phone call. Needless to say I will use this store if there are absolutely no other options. read more

Went in for a computer monitor and small printer. No help to be found anywhere. Gave up on the printer. Selected a monitor and headed to checkout. I asked cashier if everything I needed was included in the box... oh yeah everything is right in the box. Was asked if I wanted protection plan for $15... no thanks. Was charged for the protection plan anyway so asked for money back. Cashier said oh well you'll need an HDMI cable so I can find you one for that same $15 so we won't need to do a refund. Thought I had everything I needed. Requested the $15 back and I guess I'll find out what I'll need soon enough. read more

Staples is my place to go for office supplies. It is the biggest office supply store in the United States. I buy all of my printer paper and ink at Staples. They have amazing deals on printer paper; many times I get them for a penny a piece after rebate or I can buy 10 reams for $9.99 after rebate. Staples has a rewards program and they have different tiers. I am currently in the highest tier which is Premier. You have to spend over $1000 a year in order to become a Premier member. I am picking up 600 business cards for FREE today because of my premier rewards! Staples.com also has an unbelievable selection of merchandise not just in office supplies. I would not be caught shopping in Office Depot or OfficeMax. They are nothing compared to Staples. Staples will also match all competitors ad prices! read more
