This store is severely understaffed. Do not come here if you don't have time to waste. Amazon return line is practically out the door and there is no one checking out regular purchases so the amazon return desk is handling both. read more

The staff could not be more lost and unwilling or wanting to work at this location. The lady at the amazon counter did EVERYTHING ahead of possibly could before actually helping the people waiting. I stood in line trying to return an item for over 15min with one person in front of me, while she put together boxes watching the line grow. Does NOT care that we are all waiting and shes taping up empty boxes. When I got to the counter I said hello with no response, zero communication whatsoever and no response to thank you have a good day. read more

I have no experience using their Printing services but what a horrible store from my recent visit. While the gentleman who helped us was doing his job and ok enough, he didn't stick around at all to either try to persuade a purchase or answer a second question that could have likely followed my first one. They seemed to have only one cashier and one salesperson and on a Saturday afternoon this was --- and I gotta tell u their public bathroom was absolutely atrocious - for me a dealbreaker if a store has a restroom that looks as if noone cleaned it in weeks! Their pricing seemed reasonable enough but not a pleasant shopping experience! read more

Ryan the Printing & Marketing Supervisor was AMAZING working with us to perfect invitations for an upcoming event. We had previously made an invite ourselves and needed it to be printed. When he got in, he was extremely attentive and focused on helping us for about two hours. He made recommendations, printed samples and even went above and beyond to help get the color exactly how we wanted! He told us that our invites would be done tonight. When we went to pick them up at around 6:30pm, the invitations were still printing and the woman behind the counter still had to cut our smaller raffle tickets. She moved pretty slow so we eventually told her to just print them and we will cut ourselves. Overall, I give this Staples four stars because Ryan made the experience stress-free and made sure our invitations were beautiful! read more

So I visited the Staples Copy Center here on 59 and the person working at the printer station was truly unfriendly and not willing to assist me at the copy center. Definitely horrible service. So bad that I am on my way to buy a printer so as not to ever come back here again......The Worst!!! read more

Service in this store is not consistent. A few weeks ago the young man in the print area was professional and efficient. Yesterday the two people in the print area were inept. There were two people ahead of me. I had a sealed box for an Amazon return in plain view. The woman directly ahead of me said she had been waiting for almost half an hour. Twenty minutes later I asked for a second time if someone could just scan my package and was finally told just to leave it because it was labeled and sealed. These people should not have been alone in a busy dept without supervision. There was no store manager in sight. When I left the store there was an even longer line of people waiting for help in the print dept. I asked the one cashier where the manager was and she said in his office. No organization. No sense of urgency. Staples advertises itself as an Amazon return center but I will think twice before going back there again. I had planned on picking up some items that I needed but left with only one because there was no one to ask for assistance. Hard pass. read more

This review is specifically based on my customer service experience with Ayesha(not sure of the spelling). I ordered two items online, that were to be shipped to the store, for me to pick up. I hated the 5 days it took for the simple items I ordered to get there. We live in a day and age when almost everything is immediate in supply and demand. I definitely feel that this ship to store took way too long. At that rate , I should've just paid shipping, and had it sent to my home. Either way! I called as soon as they opened on 07/25/17 to check if my packages came. I got Ayesha on the phone, and she was very helpful. She took down my name and number, and told me even though I would get an email when my package came, she would call me. & she did! She called me later that day and let me know the package arrived. & a few minutes later, she called back again, to let me know only one of my two packages had come. In case I had planned to pick them both up. Ayesha is not required to do any of the above. But her customer service, and attention to me was exceptional. She is the definition of above and beyond service. Something that is very rare these days! Thank you Ayesha! You're awesome!!!! read more

We have used the copy center for YEARS for our small business needs. It used to be awesome, seriously we would never have trouble I don't know what happened but the copy center is tired, messy, inefficient and unorganized. I have waited 6 hours (not at the store) for a couple of posters that should have taken 1/2 hour tops. Slowest store ever and despite this there is always a line at checkout. Repeated pricing issues and zero sense of urgency to please customers and move things along. Products have been out of stock in aisles 3 visits in a row and are typically found after I locate an employee to check in the back. Not a good shopping experience. read more

The diy print center is awful. Machines frequently broken and if they are technically working they often are in need of service and I have to get a refund for bad quality. The employees seem to hate their jobs and not care, or maybe they are also tired of dealing with broken machines and rightfully annoyed customers - either way just doesn't help the situation. Treat your employees and your machines better and maybe it wouldn't be such a miserable experience. Worth a drive to the mall location which is less busy. read more

When I go to this store they do not have me in their computer system and when I go on line it comes right up? I have used this store since it opened and I am a customer since 2000 Not happy that every time I go there I have problems getting my discounts. BG PS I spent 76. dollars shopping today. SHIT SHOW!!! I dread coming here but they're the closest Staples to my house. The copy/print center has the most unhelpful employees. The computers hardly ever work. There's always an "out of order" sign on one of therm. They either don't have any ink in the printers or they just don't work. The only helpful person I've encountered was the African American girl with dreads but I don't think she works there anymore. She was always nice & knew what she was doing. The employees were very nice. However once they took my package, labeled it, charged me $70 to ship it, they lost it. Now I am getting nothing but the runaround by staples and UPS. Each one is telling me to contact the other one in order to find my lost package, that they lost and that they refuse to refund my $70 that I paid them to lose my package. This is not just a review about the Nanuet store but a review of Staples. As you enter the store a voice on the loudspeaker is encouraging you to buy online. There is a sign on every shelf encouraging you to buy online. I tried to buy 2 file cabinets. I had to sit next to the salesman in the store and order them online. He had to help me because the mobile site kept bouncing me out. It was to be delivered on Tuesday, yesterday. They use Lasership so there is no logistical information. When I called I was told it would be there between 9am and 5pm. It never came. I cancelled the order and filed a dispute with Amex because they couldn't tell me when I would receive a credit. This morning I found my shipment on my steep driveway on the side of the house instead of the front door. So for the past three hours I have been trying to get these guys back to move it and the best info I could get from a supervisor is they just left the warehouse in Montgomery. Am I the first stop? The last stop? They don't know. Pitiful. Just Pitiful. read more

I was in a rush as I was meeting someone for lunch but needed to get some ink for my epson printer. It was the epson 127 extra capacity black in a 2 pack. On the website it shows they had 2 in stock. So I was like alright, gonna swing by and get a pack. When I got there, I found the location where the items should have been hanging but they were not there. WTF?!? I immediately checked my iphone again and it still showed 2 in stock! They had one register open and there were honestly 5-7 people in line (guess they didn't call code 3 which is like retail code for WE NEED HELP WITH THE REGISTER MAN!) Pretty disappointed. I would come back again but next time, I need to be ready for this. I mean they were supposed to have TWO! Also there was NO one around to help me as they seem pretty short staffed. I normally don't mind them being short staffed as the economy is not that great and every retail is trying to cut corners, but how about a little organization? BTW I checked Office Depot's website and the one at Nanuet by Petsmart had one in stock and when I got there, they GOT IT! And to boot, it was August 24 IIRC and OD had a $10 off 50 or more coupon on its website which I could use in store. It was the last day to use the coupon too. Talk about working out! read more
