This particular STAPLES UPS Shipping does not take their job seriously and then lacks any accountability when they SCREW UP... I paid for OVERNIGHT Shipping ($77) on Friday 2/17/23 for Monday delivery on 2/20/23 so my son could move into his apartment, but when I tracked package it was placed with regurlar ground shipping so did not leave Philly in time for the Monday delivery.... Went to Staples on Monday and the Printing Supervisor refused to provide his full name or the store manager when a refund was demanded. The worst service I've had for returning online orders. The lady (wish I got her name, she wore gloves and a mask) working it today around 630 is just beyond rude. She was impatient, condescending and due to her impulse she kept messing up on her end (scanning and not waiting for the system to load), trying to throw it in my face as if I gave her the incorrect one. The UPS store inside Staples has the longest wait time ever. If you have any kind of physical problems don't go because you are standing for an excessive amount of time waiting for your turn, even if there is only 1 person in line ahead of you. I went to staples on Monday and I had the best experience. I am a business owner and very much up in age so not computer literate. I spoke to a gentlemen and he gave me good information as I thought. A lady came to us and she appear to be a manager I told her that we was fine. I wanted a laptop but wanted more of a discount or other options so he went and got the supervisor that I brush off. Her name is Stephanie and people when I tell you don't judge a book by the cover. She was very informative and finacially supportive and gave me good products. I smiled all day because she took time that I needed to explain everything and make sure I stayed in my budget with all of that she smiled and good energy the whole time. I will be requesting her until I die. Stephanie superb, outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service. I will be staying in touch with her. I came to this store twice this week and it was not a happy visit... The first time I stopped by I noticed how super busy it was, clearly they get a lot of business because the printing center was bustling. However no employees were within sight... mmh, could it be a free for all since no employees are paying attention?!?! They had a small selection of desktop supplies so I left... Went back today looking for folders and well the experience from the day before went from bad to worse... I took my iPad out to check my list... I walked around and saw that the reason the employees could not be found is because they were playing hide and seek in the back. One of them came up to see what I was doing and then walked away. I went on to look around and couldn't find what I was looking for, so I went looking for the guy. I walked up to an isle and heard him and other employees talking about the iPad and why it sucks, but none of them own one so what an educated opinion. Anyway, it was just poor judgment that I was their customer and they were talking crap. I asked the guy for help finding the folders and when were were in an isle alone he asked me how I liked the iPad. I told him I really liked it and it helped me with work... I thought the Q&A was over until he started wanting to debate how it was the same as a netbook and how everything you can do with it can be done on a netbook... mmh, did I ask what you thought? Nope! I only wanted you to show me where the folders are and move along to hide. He kept going... I was polite and said I liked it and that it was good for me. I cut him off and said thanks for showing me the folders. My advice is, if you go to this Staples don't expect to be helped... it is a self-serve only. The cashiers have trifling attitudes!!! My husband and I tried to print something out at a computer. Granted we over looked the sign that said printing unavailable but the cashier sarcastically said "well if you saw the sign saying no prints , why would you try to use it for that? Shipping services and internet are regularly down. I tried visiting this location four different times and had to pay with cash twice because the credit card terminals weren't working. I had to manage a heavy box for UPS shipping. Mark Bagwell (a Staples employee) went with me to my car and carried the 47 pound box into the store. He was also very helpful with a second transaction when I had to find a box for an oddly shaped lamp I was shipping. He found the box and even put it together for me. I was trying to be kind. I wanted to give this business a 2 or a 3. But I am going to focus my attention strictly to the copy center. This system strictly works on a credit card system, as a cash customer I had to purchase a card from the store, I loaded $8.00 on it thinking it would be enough to fax 4 sheets to PECO (I'll be reviewing them sometime in the future). I ran out of credit on the 3rd sheet. Needless to say I needed to purchase another card, the remaining balance of $0.56 was lost to me. If you can go to a place that takes cash, and you can get your moneys worth without loss, go to that store to do your business. read more
