On April 30th 2026, I reached out to Mobile repair labs and everything seemed fine, he asked for my…read morephone type and color and ordered everything that same day and I paid $209 that same day, he informed me that the parts will come the following day and he'll come and fix my phone. He shows up at 9pm on the 3rd of May and fixes my phone in 20 minutes tops. He hands the phone back and it appears to be good but then I immediately got a "not a genuine Apple component" message and he says it'll go away after three days. I paid the remainder of the bill 104.91 and thought everything was good. Immediately after he left I noticed my screen wasn't the same in the dark. I can see the back light and every time I tapped it was like pressing on a flat screen tv. My camera wasn't picking up in the dark like it was before, my phone would dim randomly even though my brightness was at a fixed position it was over heating. This Man replaced my genuine oled apple screen for a cheap $40 lcd screen and charged me $300 dollars for it. I reached out immediately and told him what was going on he said he'd order the parts and they'd be here on Tuesday the 5th, I reached out and asked for an update he said fedex messed up the timing of delivery and it'll be here on Wednesday the 6th(still in may). I reached out again on Wednesday from a different phone number I immediately got a response for a quote because he thought he had a new victim. I told him who I was and asked for an update only to be ghosted. Please do not go to this person if you care about genuine parts and service. I will admit he "fixed" the phone fairly quick but skimped out on cheap Chinese parts for a better profit whilst costing me more . Tisk tisk tisk.

I have not been to a cell phone repair shop before but felt comfortable right away. While in there several repeat customers came in to get their phone repaired! When he says, "15 mins." it is REALLY 15 minutes. My iPhone 8 had died & I had been without a phone for over 24 hours and was beyond panicked! Soon after the phone stopped working and the screen began flashing a green light and my trade in denied and I was sent back the phone. I'm writing this review because the owner of the store was unwilling to look at my phone without charging me again for the questionable work that he performed on it. He insinuated that I damaged the phone again rather than consider his work to have been faulty. I suspect he used aftermarket parts on my iPhone or did not install it properly which caused it to malfunction. Now I know why he offered me a reasonable price. The quality of his work will not last and you'll be out of your phone. I also suspect he did not properly assess the damage of the phone and only fixed parts of the problem. Take your business elsewhere. The customer service was extremely poor and disrespectful. The owner would not even listen to understand the problem before accusing me of breaking the phone again.
